Montebelli Agriturismo & Country Hotel    

Estuvimos en noviembre. Hotel estaba muy tranquilo. Tuvimos el spa para nosotros toda una tarde. Tambien fuimos a cenar, el chef clarence nos preparo una cena muy buena cerca de la chimenea del restaurante. Fuimos a pasear tambien por la propiedad que tiene de todo. Un oasis como lo definen... Nos quedamos una sola noche, nos hubiera gustado una mas para salir en bici que teniamos a disposicion y gratis.

Falta un toque de color en las grandisimas habitaciones ; )

Our visit to Montebelli was after 7 days of touring Italy and so it was a welcome find! We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Chef Clarence does an amazing job with the food, and everyone in our family enjoyed his delicious creations. Tomaso, the horse trainer, was amazing and I would recommend all guests to go horse back riding. Of course, the wine is what brought us to Montebelli and yes, the Fabula Riserva is great and I would recommend you try it. Alessandro helped us understand the philosphy behind the vineyard and olives , and so we enjoyed it immensely! Everyone from the front desk, to the wait staff, to of course the owners, were so lovely that we are planning our next trip back. If you are looking for a place with great food, wine, and a strong connection to nature and mother earth, I would recommend you visit Montibelli.

The staff were amazing, they made us feel welcomed and were willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was the perfect break and relax we were looking for. We stayed in the more modern part of the hotel / complex where the rooms are large, spacious and clean with aircon and all the bits you would expect from a four star hotel. The food and wine is what will bring us back though. They grow many of their own vegetables and source what that can locally, the chef was brilliant and we got to experience both their fish and meat BBQ's that they put on once a week. They make their own wine, and if you like a glass of Red I would recommend their Fabula Riserva, if you can't finish the bottle ask them and they will put a cork in it for you to have the following night.

Montebelli is set in well tended grounds. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The rough track down from the main road is not suitable for some vehicle. There are deep ruts and loose stones. On one hill my small hire car found it difficult to gain traction. If you have a good car don't take it down this road. Breakfast and dinner are taken in a temporary structure with block walls and a plastic roof. Its a shame they can't be eaten outside. The cobwebs need to be cleaned. The bar is in a barn like structure with plastic curtain walls. The seating is patio tables and chairs. It lacks atmosphere and comfort. Most guests seemed to avoid it. Snack lunches are also taken in this room. Its a shame because the grounds and setting are lovely. The breakfast/dinner area and bar let it down. My room was above the restaurant and from breakfast onwards there was a smell of cooking. If I left the windows open the smell of cooking stank the room. So the windows had to be kept shut. The view from my window was over a field of weeds and directly below they stored the crates and empty bottles. Guests are allowed to bring dogs and there were several dogs there during my stay. The directions for the hotel given by Hotel.com seem to be wrong. The hotel is on the road from Grilli to Caldana

The place itself is wonderful. Huge spaces, lots of green, relaxing views of olive trees meeting the expectations of Tuscan countryside. Thanks to its distance from the main road (approx 1Km of dirt road), it is a safe place where kids can run and play. The SPA is what you'd like to have at home. Not too big, not too small. When we visited it, no one else was there, so we loved its pace. Most of personnel (with the exception of the lady described below) has been friendly and kind (especially at the restaurant --> see Luigi and other attendants).

Unfortunately, we are not happy at all with the offered services. We have been given a room that was lacking phone and Internet access. We went to the reception to get some assistance. The attendant who served us was a kind of annoyed at our requests and not friendly at all. Room phone was replaced fairly quickly, but on the other side, they took no action concerning the Internet access. We had an access point device in our room that appeared to have been manipulated, and not giving access at all. Despite our request, no technician has showed up in over 5 days. This could appear as a minor issue, but not when you are cut off mobile coverage too. On top of it, the room did not appear as clean as you would expect from a 4-star hotel. We understand it is located in the middle of the countryside. We understand there are multiple pets (dogs and cats) running around freely. However, we cannot tollerate to have fleas in the room, dogs droppings almost everywhere, cats resting and dropping hair on the external chairs and no towels/sheets change in 5 days of overnight staying. Food was not what we expected either. Breakfast choice was quite vast, even though food quality was not excellent. Dinner fixed menu (30€ p.p) was very unsatisfactory, more proper to a middle-level guest-house than to a luxury hotel.

It looks very nice then you have a walk outside.

No airconditioning, no refridgerator in the room. Just a noisy fan on the ceiling. Some rooms are situated above the restaurant - so you can smell low-quality food all the time. The breakfast was terrible - for example the eggs seemed to be cooked many days ago and then kept in the fridge, so they was really cold, and the omelette was aged too.

Very nice place to relax with the family. It has beautiful grounds and a friendly staff. The food is excellent.

The room was a bit cold and damp.

Il luogo, la Spa

La TV non funzionava assolutamente, la camera contigua alla nostra era separata solo da una porta chiusa a chiave.

L'accoglienza la bellezza del posto con tutti i confort. La tranquillita.

Un po scadente la colazione. La pompa dell'idromassaggio fuori uso. Se il clima non consente di fare il bagno in piscina uno spera nella SPA.

Il ristorante ha deluso- molto caro- una chianina da 1,2 kg pagata 108,00 euro.... Mi sembrano troppi.

Het ligt mooi tussen de Toscaanse heuvels. Zeer vriendelijk en goed Engels sprekend personeel. Zeer behulpzaam. Super relaxte sfeer!

viele Kinder, zu laut, da sehr schlecht isoliert. heizung im zimmer funktionierte schlecht. fanden verschieden haarbüschel in zimmer und bad...

La struttura immersa nel verde e molto curata.

La spa chiusa di mattina. Ho fatto 1 solo pasto e non mi ha soddisfatto.

Kylpylässä oli kiva käydä saunassa ja rentoutua. Kalliimpi huone oli siisti ja hieno, kaikki muu ei vastannut odotuksiamme.

Kuvat hotellista olivat pääsääntöisesti modernin uuden puolen kuvia ja hotellista sai netin kautta täysin väärän kuvan. Hotellissa on uusi puoli ja vanha puoli. Tuo uusi puoli on todella siisti ja hieno, vanha puoli taas tosi rähjäinen ja epäsiisti. Matkustimme pienten lasten kanssa ja jouduimme ottamaan paikanpäällä kalliimman huoneen, koska varaamamme huone oli epäsiisti. Kohde oli myös maaseudulla, keskellä ei mitään. Auto ehdottomasti pakollinen.

-Schönes, sauberes Zimmer zum Wohlfühlen -Sehr gutes Essen auch a la Carte, wenn man keine Halbpension gebucht hat. -Sehr reichhaltiges und sehr gutes Frühstück (kein Vergleich zu typischen italienischen Frühstückbuffets - sollte für jeden etwas dabei sein) -Freundlichkeit ist bei allen Mitarbeitern groß geschrieben -Weinliebhaber kommen hier auf ihren Geschmack

Sehr ruhig mit schöner Anlage Pool und sehr schönem Garten wer Reiten will hat Spaß waren im neuen Teil mit sehr schönen Zimmern Abendessen war sehr gut Freundliches Personal

Wer keine Hunde mag ist hier falsch Zum Rennradfahren muss man erst mit Auto zur Teerstrasse, da Anfahrt ein wilder Schotterweg von 800 m und teilweise steil, Wer einen Porsche hat braucht nicht dahin :-) Frühstück mittelprächtig, wenig Abwechslung

Een prachtig onderhouden complex. De echte toscaanse sfeer is heel relaxed.

Ci è piaciuto molto la posizione della struttura, defilata e molto tranquilla nel complesso.Lo staff tutto si è dimostrato molto attento ad ogni esigenza e/o richiesta e soprattutto, cosa molto rara di questi tempi, sorridevano quando chiedevi loro qualche cosa, magari un'informazione od un caffè. Si vedeva chiaramente che la regia della struttura era forte e presente e sicuramente dettava le sue regole in maniera chiara e non equivocabile.....ottimo!!!!

Non ci sono piaciute le stanze dell'agriturismo che abbiamo trovato molto datate e soprattutto rumorosissime essendo localizzate troppo vicino alla struttura ristorante/bar/prima colazione.........dovendo scegliere la prossima volta sceglieremo sicuramente il resort che si trova in posizione assolutamente piu' defilata e ci è sembrato anche più recente come realizzazione.

Superruhige Lage eingebettet in die Wein- und Olivenfelder. Sehr gute und abwechslungsreiche regionale Küche Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal, besonders hervorzuheben der Chef Alessandro

Das Bad ist zwar groß und komplett ausgestattet; es fehlen aber Ablagen für Toiletten-/Kosmetikartikel

O hotel é excelente para famílias. Tem piscina aquecida, piscina normal, quadras, passeios ecológicos`inclusive à cavalo. As refeições podem ser todas feitas lá mesmo, pois a cidade de Caldana em si não oferece muitas opções. O Café da manHã também foi excelente.

Talvez o quarto pudesse ser um pouco melhor, não em tamanho, mas em limpeza.

un angolo di paradiso!la struttura offre ogni comfort,dalla piscina al campo da tennis,dalla zona benessere al maneggio dei cavalli.inoltre l'agriturismo si trova a mezz'ora di auto per escursioni alla spiaggia di castiglione della pescaia,a Grosseto e al parco regionale della maremma.
