De luxe kamers in deze 18e-eeuwse villa zijn voorzien van een flatscreentelevisie met satellietzenders en een marmeren badkamer. Het hotel ligt in een rustige tuin, op 10 minuten lopen van treinstation Santa Maria Novella. Alle kamers beschikken standaard over zachte veren dekbedden en beddengoed van Egyptisch katoen. De kamers hebben verschillende afmetingen en sommige hebben een parketvloer en spabad. Elke dag is er een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet dat onder andere bestaat uit versgeperst sinaasappelsap, roereieren en gebak. Restaurant Capriccio serveert Toscaanse gerechten en wijn op het bij kaarslicht verlichte terras in de tuin. De Ponte Vecchio brug en de Uffizi galerie bevinden zich op 18 minuten lopen van het Montebello, langs de oevers van de rivier de Arno. A true five star- facility, look, professional staff - room is quiet large for Italian standard and a beautiful garden to walk in. Restaurant accommodated us when we arrived late ( at 11 pm to give us a nice meal) It is 15 minutes walk to the center of the down - in Florence - it can be considered to be a bit of out of the way - however- really it is only 15-20 minutes walk - and the hotel is closed to the train station so out side area where the hotel is is not an upscale neighborhood- kind of odd to locate a five star hotel there.

The room was clean and comfortable The hotel is on a quiet side street...so no street noise and the hotel was very quiet at night The gym was well equipped and all equipment worked well The shower was very good The staff are available if requred but don't really go out of their way otherwise. I would call this hotel 4 star in terms of service. I also felt that at the price we payed breakfast should have been included. Breakfast at 30 euros per person is really not appropriate. Having said that ...we found a little coffee shop less than 5 min away and had a light breakfast for 9 euros for the 2 of us

I do not often contribute to these reviews but I feel that it would be unfair not to compliment the hotel. Firstly the room that I stayed in was quite excellent. Lovely high ceiling, extremely comfortable bed, wide variety of channels on TV and lovely bathroom with top class shower. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The location was very good. The food in the hotel was again top class. I had a difficult trip to the hotel and I must say that it was such a relief to see the top class hotel and fantastic bedroom when I arrived.

The hotel is great, it matched my expectation for a 5 star hotel in Firenze. The room is very comfortable, with good space, nice decoration, silent at night, good amenities, friendly staff. Internet access is free and works well. I didn´t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can´t give an opinion about that. The overall hotel facilities are very pleasant, very well mantained. The distance from main spots in the city is OK for those who are willing to walk for 10 minutes.

The staff was very attentive and wanted to make sure that you were compeletely satisfied and happy. The one issue we did have, they corrected quickly and made sure that we were completely taken care of. They were great with giving directions, getting taxis and drivers for us quickly and the bartender was a lot of fun. The hotel is pretty far away from the center of town. We had to walk a good 15-20 mins to get to anything we wanted to go to. We had to get a new room immediately after we arrived because of a leaky shower that gave a mildewy smell. The room we were moved to was an upgrade, which was very kind, but it was a really odd layout. It had a small living room downstairs and a bed upstairs in a loft-like setting. I fekt like I was back in college.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby was nice and clean. Room was quiet. The historical part of Florence is so small that you can walk the whole town in a few hours. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Firenze -smn stazione and 20 minutes to Duomo or Uffizi. I don't mind the walk at all, especially when the weather was so nice when I was there. Our bathroom was tiny. Literally fitting a shower, a sink, a toilet and a bidet in a 3 meter x 1.5 meter space. It'd be too crowded for two people to be in the bathroom together. I asked for another room but they said the hotel was full that day so I couldn't get an upgrade.

The location is fine (not excellent). It's located about 20minutes from the center of the Firenze. For one person like me it's OK but for the family tourist a little bit remote. Staff are friendly and speak ftuent English. The room was gorgeous,clean and functional. The breakfast was fine.

Very quiet hotel lovely staff..especially the waiter Donato..good location to view beautiful Florence..Darryl Magowan Northern Ireland The restuarant for evening meals could be better we only used it once during the week we stayed..

Struttura molto accogliente, personale cortese e professionale, ottimo il livello delle sistemazioni: confortevoli, silenziose e molto pulite. Posizione della struttura molto buona ed agevole rispetto ai luoghi di interesse. Ideale anche per chi desidera muoversi a piedi. Un Hotel eccellente.

Un peu excentré des intérêts touristiques, mais un calme rare, un jardin reposant et sa fontaine, une chambre spacieuse et luxueuse, un personnel compétent. Les parties communes sont confortables, salons, canapés dans le jardin. Ambiance d'hôtel particulier. Le petit déjeuner peut se prendre sous une véranda donnant sur le jardin ou sous un kiosque pour la saison estivale.

Las habitaciones y la cama son comodas, bien calefaccionadas y tranquilas El hotel esta lejos de las atracciones principales lo que no necesariamente esta mal ya que la caminata es bonita El desayuno buffet es de baja calidad para su precio (20 Euros por persona) En el sitio web del hotel aparece claramente internet gratis..., La historia es que el servicio de internet provee hasta 150 mb por habitacion por dia y luego pretenden cobrarte 10 Euros por el exceso .Ello motiva una discusion con el personal que si bien termino resolviendose favorablemente genera una sensacion de querer haber sido estafado En el sitio web dice que todas las habitaciones deluxe tiene jacuzzi . No es cierto El servicio al cuarto es de muy mala calidad y alto precio

Muito bom e muito confortável. O café da manhã é muito bom. Uma pessoa me chamou a atenção pela gentileza e educação: a Srta. Elisa, funcionária da recepção. Excelente acolhimento por parte dela. Obrigado. O carpete do quarto. é complicado para quem tem alergia.

cétait notre quatrime séjour! nous aimons la décoration, l'ambiance générale et le confort le service est devenu moyen, en particulier au restaurant, petit-déjeuner, il n'est pas au niveau d'un 5* il faut supplier le personnel, à peine aimable ! les prix devraient inclure automatiquement le breakfast.
