Located literally a few steps from Rome’s main shopping street, Via del Corso, Hotel Montecitorio enjoys an excellent location in the very heart of the city, close to everything. Hotel Montecitorio is named after the seat of the Italian government which it is situated so close to. Set just 218 yards from the Spanish Steps, sightseeing, shopping and a whole range of cultural activities are easy from here. A Metro station is conveniently located at the Spanish Steps too. Rooms at the Montecitorio are spacious and elegantly decorated and come with modern facilities. Enjoy a hydromassage shower in your private bathroom. Use the DVD player to watch movies on the 46-inch plasma-screen satellite television or connect up to the internet free of charge on the computer provided. Although the Montecitorio does not provide breakfast, there is a vending machine on site where you can purchase coffees and croissants. The location of the hotel was perfect, 10 metres from Via del Corso and some top tourist attractions. The hotel also organised transport to the airport which was much better value than any other transport we could find, we regret not using this service when we arrived. The journey from the airport was awful, the train was overcrowded and best avoided. The only downside for us was that we had to carry our bags up 2 sets of stairs but that was a small problem when compared to the many advantages the hotel has to offer. The reception staff were helpful. I would recommend the hotel; just remember to mention at the time of booking if stairs will be a problem. Also note that they don´t serve breakfast which is fine, we found some great cafes where we could enjoy excellent coffee.

The hotel is two steps away from the shopping street. Very good location. Cute little rooms. We did not get laptop in the hotel. Reception simply stated they have none. paper slim walls.a lot of noise, door slam...

close to spanish stairs and walking distance to many city attractions. auto-grill in the corner for immediate needs. room is tiny. After the elevator, you need climb up stairs to reach the rooms and the reception, might be an issue if you have back problems or many luggages.

Ideal location for sightseeing in Rome. Located in the middle of Via del Corso. You can walk to all famous touristic places easily from Vatican to Colosseo. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the last floor with fabulous view from the balcony on the city center. Room is very small but clean and tidy with big TV-screen on the wall. Nice renovated room with new furniture. We'll definetely be back again. Sometimes warm water comes with interruptions.

The location is perfect, walking distance from the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish stairs. The room was cosy but small, but that was no problem for us. The walls are very thin so you can hear every sound on the hall way and in the next rooms.

It is the perfect hotel for your city trip. The hotel is right in the city center and the price is oke. No breakfast was included, but right on the doorstep of the hotel is a bar where you can get coffee and bread at good price.

The location was right in the middle of the city. The room was filthy our feet were black from the floor the sheets had stains on them, there was a used unwashed cup in the bathroom and their lil fridge in the room had gunk all in it. Overall I would say it's a rip off.

The hotel was excellent, both in terms of cleanliness as well as location. It is bang in the middle of Via del Corso and very very close to all historic sites. It was also very close to the Vatican City, just a 20-309 minutes slow-paced walk. The hotel is ideal and very well- priced. I had already been there on business and went back there with my family and friends. Recommended it to a couple arriving this weekend and will certainly recommend again!

Très très bien situé pour la visite touristique de la ville. Et au cœur des quartiers commerçants L'éclairage dans la chambre est avec lampes à économie d'énergie : c'est insuffisant pour lire ! La télé ne comporte aucun canal francophone !! donc pas de télé en soirée, pas d'informations La salle de bain dégage de très mauvaises odeurs (venant probablement des tuyaux)… nous avons dû mettre du déodorant… mais il aurait fallu un traitement plus complet La chambre — un peu trop petite — proche de la réception n'est pas toujours calme… j'ai dû mettre au petit matin des boules Quies pour continuer ma nuit tranquillement…

Bonne situation dans la ville, hôtel calme. Accès à la chambre peu pratique ( 2 ascenseurs différents ). Salle de bain minuscule pour une chambre de 4 personnes. éQuipements ne fonctionnent pas toujours très bien.

Camera e bagno spazioso nonostante fosse una quadrupla.personale della reception gentile e disponibile. La posizione e' veramente ottima: siamo riuscite a visitare I luoghi principali facendo pochissima strada a piedi e il prezzo era tra I più economici di tutti gli altri hotel proposti in quella zona da booking.se tornerò a Roma sicuramente sceglierò ancora questo hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent spot for getting around Rome and we enjoyed many an hour on the Piazzo del Popola just around the corner people watching!
