Dating back to the late 1800s, UNA Napoli is a grand hotel in central Naples, a 5 minute walk from Naples Central Train Station. It features a top-floor restaurant, bar and terrace.
Score from 948 reviews Very good
kind staff good facilities
wifi located very far from central of naples
Room was spacious and offered variety of seating. Staff was very accommodating. Surprises abound throughout property, e.g. baby grand piano, beautiful driveway approach, resort atmosphere, unusual nooks & crannies abound with areas to lounge & visit.
Breakfast was only fair. Dinner menu unappealing and not as good as nearby restaurant recommended by staff. Property is a bit seedy around the edges but magnificent and unusual, especially the pool area.
A great place to recharge yourself after travelling around Italy. Waiter had great understanding of the menu and was happy to suggest local dishes for us to try.
Paying for caps for swimming pool.
- Staff was friendly - Good internet connections
- Breakfast was pretty mediocre - Tons of mosquitoes at night. Normal?
safety and free parking, nice pool even we didn't have enough time to use.
It was too complex hotel
Everything was done to please the guest. The master of the hotel is ready to apply any request. Beautiful huge terrirory with big swimming pool. Clean and tidy. The best coffee on breakfast I ever tasted! Grazie, senior Umberto, for unforgettable weekend in Napoli.
Most of the staff were excellent in helping us with what we needed, all except for one man at the desk.
You could hear to much that went on in the other rooms, toilets flushing, showers running, doors opening/closing
The swimming pool was spectacularly beautiful, and our room with its own patio was huge, possibly bigger than our London flat! The staff we very helpful indeed.
The bed was comfortable
We had chosen this hotel as a place to relax at the end of a busy 2 weeks sight seeing holiday. We had booked an executive double room and firmly believe we were put in a standard triple room. Our window looked out over the kitchen, the electric roller blind was broken for the entirety of our 3 day stay. The bathroom had a 2cm gap around the window frame with daylight visible. We complained to the reception staff on several occasions about the standard of the room and about the roller blind. They offered to move rooms the second day but not until after 11am and this would have disrupted our limited time for our visit to Naples. They made no offer or attempt to assist us in moving. Their attitude was one of complete disinterest and disregard.
This hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.
The surrounding area was a bit dissapointing We used the metro to get to the center of napels on the way back but it was a bit confusing as you had to go around a building site which we werent told about . I think if we got the metro to montespina Park we would have been a bit lost.
The hotel is situated on a very green hill and provides safe parking if you have a car like us. Fast internet inside the rooms, big room and perfect breakfast
Nice pool. Very spacious rooms and mosquito fly screens on the windows, which were needed! Great air conditioning which wasn't noisy. Helpful staff too
A bit of painting needed in one of our rooms
Very good waiter in the restaurant.
-No soundproofing in the room at all - you can hear your neigbours as they are in your room. -The location is good only if you are by car, it is no place where you can go by feet.
Awesome hotel and thank you so much to all the staff. Breakfast was really nice.
If you don't have a car it could be to far from Naples.
Staff very friendly and helpfull. Hotel clean Swimming pool fab lots of loungers and pool bar for drinks and food with waiter service. Breakfast had a good selection. Lovely spacious outside area.
Restraunt menu didn't change so it was a bit boring.food ok. A bit remote so had a long walk to get to metro station.
Room was very clean. Amenities were plentiful. Pretty grounds. Paula ( manager ) and Fabiana ( front desk ) were friendly.
While the place attracted me as a spa type hotel where we could enjoy our last night in Italy at a relaxing pace... It turned out to be a sad experience. It was woefully understaffed. We got there at 1:40pm and it took them 35 minutes to get us a clean room. When we got into the room, The safe was not working. It took a staff member 20 minutes to arrive. Then, 30 minutes of trying to repair it. We wanted to use the pool and unwind after several hours of travel, pulling heavy bags ( No staff people to help you with your bags either.) Finally, we asked for another room after wasting 2 hours from the moment we got there. When were given the other room, again no staff to help move us. The other room had a safe issue and required another call. It was opened and we put our valuables in the safe and went to the pool to sun and catch a dip. We tried the pool.. Nobody manned the towel area. We called twice to get a towel. It took 15 minutes. Then we were alerted we needed a pool cap in order to swim. That required another call and 3 Euros and a 10 minute wait. Pushing 4:30 now. We attempted the pool. Frigid!! So, we nixed it and were frustrated..so, we took the sun for 30 minutes.. And while we napped.... We were eaten alive by mosquitos. After the mosquito bath, we wanted to use the gym they show in the photo. So, we called and waited 35 minutes and no one came( btw, the phone by the pool is a walk from where we were laying.) So, we called again...and waited 20 more minutes before we finally gave up. The place has a camp feel and could be an amazing place to go and relax before either embarking on travel in Italy, or before the long flights back home. What we found were long waits.... Poor follow through and an unhappy stay. By the way, the twin beds are tiny and hard.... And slope. A good sleep was impossible for me. The a/c worked ok.. But was so noisy. We couldn't wait to leave. The taxi was promised to be 25 Euro... But ended up costing 35. What a shame.
Breakfast Location - far from centre which is noisy and it is best if you have a car like we had in order to go to centre. Safe parking for overnight stay Internet
Great pool Helpful staff
You need to use the metro to get into Naples. The walk to the metro station is 20 mins long through dirty and dangerous streets (one road has no pathway). Hotel has seen better days, clearly lacks investment and is in a run-down part of town.
the location, the swimming pool
the safe was broken, breakfast too ordinary
Very nice pool area. Nice personnel with good language skills. Breakfast good, with nice variation of coffee.
Would like more vegetables for breakfast. A cleare map over the neigborhood must be fixed; especially considering the distance to the train/metro. Used many hours finding the metro station. Considering the sice of the hotel, more indoor space should be used for activities (sport, snooker, etc.). The gym is not very impressive (and not for free). Prize for drinks/food not very generous at the pool area.
Stay number 6 and as always, could not fault anything! The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are clean and tidy and the pool is fantastic! Staying at the end of August was great, we felt like we had our own private swimming pool! No doubt that we will be back again soon, we would not stay anywhere else when visiting family in Napoli. Thanks to everyone.
Good breakfast, buffet style. Nice and quiet hotel.
Friendly and helpful personal
more care for the beautiful lemon trees
The pool looked really nice but we didn't swim as we didn't have caps. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were pleasant to deal with.
For accessing Naples the train wasn't great. However, there weren't many parts of Naples which felt very safe...
very good service overall, great breakfast, clean and quiet rooms, WI-FI and AC working well
it's a bit far from the train station (20 min walk) the restaurant quite expensive but great cuisine
