Montespina Park Hotel    

The staff were extremely professional, very helpful and very nice. The grounds of the hotel were very beautiful. The pool was beautiful even though I did not use it. The bar was very nice. The food was great.

The bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The room was not arranged well. There should have been a dressing table with a mirror above it. The TV was in front of the window. We could not open both windows.

Female Receptionist doing private calls. Gym is not freely accessible but being reserved by Receptionist for personel. Sewer odor throughout the park... The nice swimming pool is empty...

The staff is extremely courteous, very knowledgable and helpful. The facilities are very clean and feel safe. The breakfast is incredibly tasty. The view is beautiful and although we did not get to use the pool, the area seemed to be very relaxing, and inviting. I have not one bad thing to say about the resort itself.

Public transportation is not easily accessable, not reliable (not punctual), and in a very dirty area of city. It did not feel safe to walk around outside the gated area at night. There is a lot of trash along the sidewalks just down the street from the hotel. And no matter what time of the day, the roads do not have a safe way to cross.

This hotel had very helpful staff and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very spacious, with good amenities. We can highly recommend this hotel to others.

The only issue is the location, this is not an issue if you have a car, but using trains, as we did, is onerous as they are extremely slow.

Price and parking

The area surrounding the hotel was run down with garbage everywhere.

Nothing , all Was eccellent, onlly one Think if you book malaspina Hotel you need a car berceuse the metro's stop isn't near the hotel.

We, four researchers, were staying in the Hotel during 7 days attending a Congress and all of us, we felt to be loved by the Hotel stuff: they are smiling, helpful and assures an excellent stay! Restaurant menu is not so large but available food was excellent, and the waiter was great. Breakfast buffet is excellent and includes a lot of homemade Italian cakes. By request they serve Italian coffees such as Espresso or Cappucino with smile. We had a rented car and free & secured parking was important for us. We did not have chance to visit swimming pool. Being next time in Naples we will return to Montespina Hotel.

Hotel combines quiet location with busy city of Napels. Only short (safe, clean) walk to nearby Metro of 10 minutes and 15-20 minutes to centre of Napels. Swimmingpool is certainly fine after seeing the sights

My wife wanted to visit Naples (area) so she made a profound survey as to possible hotels with swimmingpool (as we had two kids and like to take a swim at the end of the day) in Naples. Hotel Montespina was on top of her list and has been found during visit the right choice as to price-quality. Location (hotel with swimming pool) is of course not in city centre of Napoli but more in suburb; But as we had a rented car in order to explore the Naples bay it took less than 15min to arrive in Naples city centre. (although we also used the excellent public transport in order to 'sightsee' the city during the day).. Free & secured parkingspace.. Hotel has probably been a prestigious premises last decade and has remained a certain flair. Rooms are clean and pratical; Breakfast buffet includes certain mornings even some pastries and cakes. You find at the banket coffee, tea, hot chocolate but the staff don't bother to bring you more typical italian coffees such as Espresso or Cappucino as per your request. This brings us to probably one of the main assets of this hotel: the service including friendliness of the staff which assures you an excellent stay!

You need to wear a bathcup but this of course assure you a need swimming pool

Great swimming pool, remarkable restaurant with first class waiters. We stayed there to visit Pompéï and Capri Island, the motorway close to the hotel make an easy drive towards these sites. One of the best hotel if you happen to be around Napoli.

Mind the mosquitoes !

Hotel with swimming pool; good location to combine visit to the city and relax at the pool. Max three stars.

The room for four (2 adults, 2 older kids) was too small.

Excellent location, quite peacefull, eco-friendly and green hotel

Gym and Pool is chargable sepreatly, gym & pool timmings are from 10 - 20, as a result a business traveller cannot use these facilites in the morning as the day starts by 9 for a business traveller. Rooms are too old !!!!!

Staff were very attentive.

The hotel is run down and needs a complete refurbishment there haa obviously been no investement put into it for a long time, the grounds needed tidied up broken windows not replaced, mirror in my bathroom was broken,furniture old, pool side bar very poor,rooms around the pool reminded me of the butlins era refused to stay in them, horrible.Hotel is definetly not a four star very disappointing would not recommend it.

Montespina Park Hotel was a haven of comfort. I felt I was in the middle of the countryside and not in a huge city. Our room was perfect and near the pool. We even had a lemon tree on our patio!!. The staff were very helpful. . The food was great value and high standard. I would def go back to Naples if I could stay in this hotel again..

I did find the signs to the Hotel a bit confusing. Maybe its the law but there were so many signs of similar size / colour that it was difficult to pick it out when driving.

Poor gym. Awful location, but we didn't have a car. Local train service walkable put appalling service.

Our 3rd visit to Montespina - The location is perfect for us and as a family with young children, the pool facilities and excellent! Staff are friendly and it's clean and tidy. We shall be back!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good choice of breakfast daily the cakes proved far to tempting, dinner selection was not huge but what was on offer was excellent. Pool area was also a added bonus.

Only problem was the hotel was slightly further out than expected.

The pool is fantastic and the staff is enormously helpful and friendly. The entire building possesses character and is fascinating. Breakfast is more than adequate. Additionally, there are several inexpensive eating places with good food within 10 minutes' walk.

Some of the facilites are not completely updated and the wireless internet can be spotty at times. I've had two dinner meals in the restaurants and found them to be mediocre especially for the price.
