Novotel Salerno Est Arechi is in a great location on the seafront, near the Arechi Stadium. It features a pool, a fitness center and an excellent restaurant. Parking is free.
Score from 405 reviews Very good
Hotel Plaza is in the heart of Salerno, right across from the train station, and close to the bus terminal and the pretty seafront promenade. A breakfast buffet is included in the room price.
Score from 494 reviews Very good
Set on the seafront in Salerno, the Mediterranea Hotel & Convention Center features a roof garden, 2 restaurants, and air-conditioned rooms. A wired internet point is available at the front desk.
Score from 688 reviews Good
On the Amalfi coast, this large hotel and spa center enjoys panoramic sea views. Its contemporary rooms are an 8 minute walk from Salerno Train Station, and 2 miles from the port.
Score from 588 reviews Good
In the main street, closeby has pretty a good seafood restaurant, close to train station! Basic and practical for the price. indeed not fancy, justify by the price you pay.
No wifi connection, at least not in the room. i saw people stay standing at the hallway to get internet.
Very Goodyear location
Roma are on streste are very noisy, poor breakfast
Breakfast on balcony was great. Balcony room great. Staff very helpful. Good access to railway and port. Close to Amalfi coast, which is great.
Wi fi on floor 4 inconsistent, but excellent in lounge
situated on main shopping boulevard
rooms are old and unfashioned
near railway station very central location rooms ok
bit jaded but other rooms were being updated
Close to old city and also bus station for early morning transfer to Naples airport. Staff happily made us a breakfast bag as we checked out early
Wifi in room unusable. Also hotel must be in some sort of reception blackspot as my Italian mobile barely got a signal either.
Excellent clean hotel with lovely staff. Comfortable and great location on Main Street
I liked the location as its close to bus/train station and all the shops
The price is too much for what it is. The staff were not too friendly, on my second day the wifi went so i had to use a room downstairs where the receptionist and another man had an argument for about 1 hour which was uncomfortable. The sheets were scruffy and torn. The elevator was broken. The facilities in general were not well maintained. When i asked if i could have a receipt for my bill they looked at me as if I was crazy. I would not stay here again.
The location was good
Wifi signal did not reach our room
The receptionists were all very helpful and their English was perfect. The room was nice and comfortable and the cleaning was excellent, done on a daily basis.
The breakfast choices wern't great and the toaster was extremely slow. Service in the breakfast room was also quite slow but very polite. It was also very annoying that I couldn't get wifi in the room. I had to go down to reception to connect to wifi.
Rooms were clean, good sizes and well furnished. The beds were clean and comfortable. The lobby is freshly decorated and is bright and welcoming.
Website says a rooftop terrace is available. It is, but only at breakfast time. The rest of the time it's locked. Website also states wi-fi available in all areas. Not so. Any "area" not on the ground floor doesn't have internet access. I found this misrepresentation particularly annoying and would not have booked if I had known the true position. Also the breakfast was somewhat haphazard and prone to run out of staples (like butter!). The breakfast room has, in my opinion, the worst toaster in the world. When asked about roof terrace and internet, staff were completely uninterested.
It's very close to the train station (5-min walk). It's a good deal for the money. The staff are really helpful.
The wifi signal inside the rooms is very bad, however it's good in the reception and allies. It would've been better if there was a safe in the room.
The lobby, as soon as you enter you have a pleasant image, a modern hotel with a nice bar area.
Once you go in the elevator you feel dissapointed, it looks dated, the carpet looks old the hallways are dark and in general the hotel it's worse than it looked in the pictures. The breakfast it's only ok and the parking is very difficult to find and reach. I would not stay in this hotel another time.
The hotel's location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the railway station. Reception staff were pleasant and polite. The rooms were quite big and clean. Nice to have breakfast on the terrace. Good value for the money.
There's no sign or anything on the outside that tells you where the hotel is. The entrance was renovated while the rooms were quite dark and worn. The breakfast was nice but quite small range - bread and cakes along with coffee, juice and yogurt.
It was on the main walking mall and close to the sea
We had a hard time finding it. We actually walked past it three times before asking somebody. It's undergoing some renovations so no sign was at the front to distinguish it. Was very surprised at the carpeted floors in the room. Didn't feel clean.
breakfast the small balcony friendly receptionists the white big dog!
no other TV programs for non Italien speakers. it is a pity that there was no sitting possibility in the balcony
The quiet and the location, the comfort of the simple bed, the breakfast on the terrace
Toiletries were a bit scarce and would not allow for two showers in the same day
Convenient location to train, other transportation, restaurant and shopping area. Great breakfast area with adequate food selection.
Wifi is not available on your room and we had problems with the key. They ended up transferring us to another room after we had trouble a couple of times.
Recently renovated this is a smart 'boutique' hotel on the main pedestrian precinct of Salerno. The room was of a fair size with a large wash/shower area and an adjacent lavatory with a dividing door. A pleasant and airy lounge down stairs. The roof terrace was a delightful place to eat a typical Italian breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Non-existent WiFi above the third floor. If you need a connection ask for a room no higher than the second floor. Fortunately we knew where the hotel was and what it looked like as there is nothing on the street to tell you the name of the hotel.
Morning breakfast on the terrace, wifi is great, a good location for daily trips around.
No English TV-channel, no information leaflet about the facilities of the hotel in written form were available in the room.
Close to the train station. Good European breakfast. Close to the port to take ferry to Amalfi and Portafino.
Hotel is unmarked, it has no sign, so know what it looks like before you arrive so you can find the entrance.
Excellent base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and Pompei. Staff were very helpful and provided extra service with laundry arrangements, bus schedules and WiFi connection. The hotel is part way through refurbishment but was still very comfortable.
Long wait for hot water to arrive.
The location was near the train station and easy walking to vibrant areas for nightlife and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help and provide suggestions and advice. One in particular was fabulous.
The hotel is going through renovating and the room we stayed in hadn't been completed. The bed was not very good. For a two night stay these were small items and overshadowed by the positives. This place will in time be a real jewel.
Central location. Helpful staff.
Garage is 400m away
The staff were fantastic. All very friendly and helpful.
