Het Morandi alla Crocetta is gevestigd in een voormalig klooster naast het Archeologisch Museum van Florence. Het hotel combineert moderne gemakken met een historisch gevoel. De kathedraal ligt op 5 minuten lopen. De kamers van het Morandi zijn voorzien van houten balken plafonds, origineel Florentijns pleisterwerk en elegante kroonluchters. Elke kamer beschikt over een eigen badkamer met een haardroger en een bad of een douche. Prima ontvangst! Parkeergarage ingang is erg smal, maar hotel personeel is zeer behulpzaam.Locatie is voor stedentrip super.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Morandi alla Crocetta. The sewer smell in my room made it very difficult to sleep. The handle fell off in the shower although it was fixed. There was really not much they could do about the sewer smell. The whole place smelled bad...very bad. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is peaceful and quite, and within walking distance of the metro, Duomo, and Accademia. The staff was helpful in contacting some of the museum's for us, and making some sightseeing suggestions for us. The decor of the rooms were comfortable, and in the 2 weeks that we traveled in France and Italy they offered the largest shower which was a nice change. The actual street that the hotel is located on is not the greatest looking, and breakfast was costly. We skipped breakfast at the hotel, and found caffes within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. I would request a courtyard room next time and ask not to have a room facing the street. The view was not the greatest.

Hotel staff were particularly helpful and friendly. The old Chapel Room has some salvaged murals that are an enhancement to the room. Location is excellent - close enough to major attractions in the centre but an easy walk out to a very quiet and peaceful location. Cleanliness of the rooms and making of beds could have been improved. Chapel room ceiling could be finished better as it was partly covered and partly exposed beams. The centre of the old Nave in the Chapel room should be finished better as rough plaster was visible. Bathroom was looking tired and needs some maintenance on fittings.

Staff very helpful, willing to make reservations, and helped dealing with parking issues in Florence. I think for the price it should have included breakfast instead of charging an extra 12 euros ($18.00).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very nice, even large by European standards. Good breakfast. Convenient location. There are closer places, nicer places, but we'd go back without hesitation. Second floor check in is a little inconvenient with no elevator, but staff will bring your bags if you need the help.

Die Hotelmitarbeiter war ausgesprochen freundlich, höflich, hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön. Die Lage herrlich ruhig und dennoch zentral. Alles etwas old fashioned was jedoch auch den besonderen Reiz der Zimmer ausmacht. Wir vier jedenfalls waren rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank.

服务人员非常热情，房间也很有特色，舒适、干净。只是离火车站稍微远一点。Staff are very warm, room is very unique, comfortable and clean. Just a little far from the train station.

市内観光に便利だった。フィレンツェの歩行者天国圏の北側にあり、ドゥオモまで歩いて10分以内だし、考古- 学博物館のすぐ近くだった。サンマルコ教会も近い。廻りは公園や庭が多くて、大学付属植物園のつつじが満開- できれいだった。各国語のガイドブックが本棚にあった。勿論、日本語のもありました。 ホテルは２階に位置しているが、エレベーターがない。
