Everything about the restaurant, pool design, accommodation, sauna facilities, outside comfort, extreme attention to detail, the most pleasant and helpful of all staff, and the owners, all contributed to creating perfection. Leaving such tranquility and the beautiful countryside has been a wrench that we should not have to suffer! Congratulations to the owners and all staff, for they have achieved their goals in this successful holiday location.

    Leaving Mormoraia and its surroundings.

Very comfortable and tranquil. The 300 year old convent is full of character and the views stunning. The staff are friendly and hard working, and directed us to some lovely local areas. Take in the wine tour and taste the wine and oil produced here!

Location and the calmness of the surroundings. Good quality furnishings and taste overall.

Not so much a not like but rather a small way to improve. I would prefer to have windows open all the time to enjoy the breaze. but due to mosquitos was not possible. Would love it if the rooms had screens on the windows. Failing that a electric mosquito repellant as standard in the rooms. I got one when i asked for it

Really friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms, nice breakfast, good food at restuarant in evenings, close to San Gimignano and then the VIEW!

Wifi was poor in our room, but the view made up for it!

The setting and grounds are very nice. The garden is equipped with nice furniture (picnic style) and the pool ist great. Breakfast is very good when the male cook is in the kitchen. For example he makes fresh omlettes when he see`s that the first guests come to dinner and the atmosphere is very good.

At our first day we had a dinner. the second dish was so salty that we werent able to eat this. After telling this to the service (a young girl) she only told us "good to know", takes our full plates and goes away. After that we enjoyed our wine for over an hour but nobody comes back. also in the next days no word of excuse. I was very disappointed and this happening gave our holiday at mormoria a bad taste :( In my opinion this is unworthy of discussion for the 70 Euros for this dinner (2 Persons, ~second dish 32 Euros)

Travelled with another couple to Mormoraia mid July. This was the highlight of our 3 country trip. The grounds are stunning, the staff goes out of their way to accommodate, the rooms were large clean and had wonderful views and the town of San Gimignano is a gem. We are already looking to book a return trip to Mormoraia next summer.

Lovely place, location and wine! Generous and tasty breakfast

We have had bigger expectations about food (dinner) but it was average. Service was very long and purely managed. Accommodation is overpriced.

really amazing at the first sight especially the view when driving down to the hotel

CHARGE me 20 euros for 2 little glasses of orange juice at dinner . We felt greatly surprised when checking out and paying. What a terrible experience for us honeymoon couple , it's awfully unbelievable!

What an amazing place! Immaculate grounds, rooms, facilities, pool, everything was very well maintained and clean. The staff was super nice and friendly and helpful when we asked them about things in this area but also about places in other areas of Italy. An absolutely beautiful and romantic place. The breakfasts were also amazing! Who would've thought that bruschetta would work for breakfast, not me. Well guess what?? It's AMAZING and I've never had better bruschetta in my life! I've been going through withdrawal ever since!! There was also some delicious cakes and quiches as well as fresh fruit, great breads, eggs and delicious coffee. While I looked forward to every meal on our trip to Italy, the breakfast here was one I particularly looked forward to. I HATE writing this review because it may turn people onto "my spot" but I feel it's the right thing to do. Go, enjoy!

That we were there for only 3 nights!!!!

Excellent location, close to San Gimignano, nice views, very quite, easy accessible, very clean, great breakfasts, swimming pool, excellent vine produced at the site, very friendly, carry and kind personnel, a lot of joy everywhere.

No nets on the windows to protect from mosquitos.

Beautiful located at Tuscany hills, with the view to San Gimignano. Very friendly personel in the reastaurant (breakfast). Clean.

the room that we had was not very convenient in terms of providing just normal storing capacity i.e. wardrobe did not contain any shelves (if you are staying for a week you would eventually like to unpack); in the bathroom there was no space to put a cosmetic bag. Nor to hang more than 1 towel. Just unhandy. A slight variety for breakfast would also be appreciated (between the days as if you are staying for more than 3 days, having the same limited choice every day is becoming boring).

The view over typical Tuscan countryside with San Gimignano in the background. Our room and the facilities in general. The owners and staff. The wine! Great location for exploring Tuscany.

    Nothing.

What a great find! - The location and quality far surpassed expectations - the whole place is immaculate! The pool is stunning and makes for perfect afternoon relaxation after exploring and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The location is perfect, with access to San Gimigano only a few k's away. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all delicious and alcohol is very fairly priced, especially their own wines made on site.

Daily room cleaning could have been slightly more in-depth but its very minor and we are fairly "clean" so this may have been why!
