Hotel Moscatello

Sijainti hintaan nähden hyvä, ehkä hieman syrjässä nähtävyyksistä, mutta lähellä Terminin rautatieasemaa. Me liikuimme koko matkamme ajan kävellen, eikä tuottanut ongelmia. Huoneen hintaan kuului, vaikka varaustiedoissa ei mainittu, minibaari (vettä/limsaa) sekä lounas ja päivällinen saman omistajan ravintolassa.

Hieman hankala löytää koska reception/hotelli sijaitsee kerrostalon kolmannessa kerroksessa, johon on kulku summerilla alaoven/rappukäytävän ja sisäpihan kautta. Hotelli ei ole 24h auki, joten tarvitsee olla hotellilla ennen sulkemista (vierailumme aikana viim. klo 1:00 yöllä) tai ottaa avain 20 euron panttia vastaan, jolla pääsee alaovesta sisään hotellin ollessa kiinni, paitsi että emme saaneet avainta toimimaan kertaakaan alaovessa.

Hyvä sijainti lähellä rautatieasemaa ja nähtävyyksiä. Erinomainen siivouspalvelu. Rauhallinen ympäristö.

The room was very clean, the situation of the hotel was excellent, there was [central] heating

Teh room was fairly small for two personsa and the walls were very thin (we could hear our neighbours all too well). Also the reception was not open at the time it was mentioned on the web page - fortunately we managed to get in before they closed on our arrival day. Too bad...

Clean

The hotel was not what it said it was and was far too expensive. It was located on a bad area and more like a hostel than "hotel." Located in an apartment building.... Which was not what was described in pictures or descriptions.

Nice room, nice place and staff. Convenient (near Coliseo, metro, bus ans train station)

Noisy room (#8)

very close to Termini station. Although there isn't any breakfast the supermarket is very close. The best icecream in Rome is just next door. We got free water and coca cola in the minibar. The place was quiet.

There were hairs on the floor of the bathroom and room. There are plenty of tv channels, but only one is in english. The airconditioning wasn't strong enough

Very nice new rooms.

It was very close to an excellent ice cream parlour.There was a fridge in the room. The people at reception were friendly. The hotel was fairly close to the metro.

The rubbish bin was broken in the bathroom and one of the lamps didn't work. Accessibility from the lift to the entrance was difficult to manage with heavy suitcases.

The room was VERY dirty. The maid was trying to wash the floor, but after this her long black hair were scattered all over the floor. It was more than disgusting...The towels also dirty, and seemed not to be changed after previous guests. The reception is working only till 1 a.m., so if you return later - you won`t get inside.

The staff was kind. There was every day a bottle of water for free in the mini bar.

The TV was just a piece of furniture - it worked so badly that it was impossible to watch it. The hotel is situated in "China town" district.

All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The coffee/hot chocolate machine - with ALL drinks for a mere 50 cents - was very welcome as was the complementary bottle of water per person every day in the room's fridge. Such little things (missing from other hotels we used during our recent 12 day visit to Italy) can and did make a big difference to our stay. We really appreciated these.

Noise from the street, particularly of trams throughout the night was annoying but bearable. The net curtains needed a good wash. It would have been wonderful to have had the option of a self-service breakfast: cereal (muesli and cornflakes would be enough choice), fresh milk, coffee (already available in machine, fortunately) would be adequate.
