It kind of looked like a brothel with all the mirrors everywhere. The sex shop next to it also did not help to deny this perception. However, I did not encounter any brothel-like activity, so it is possible that this motel was originally built as a brothel, then changed their profile. The former entrance door, which now has no handles from inside of the room is super creepy, that is a big minus in my book (you can enter your room through the terrace). Even though they had AC, it was not operating, and the rooms were very hot (in mid-April).
