Sarah Sun Island offers an unforgettable experience for your stay in Venice. Two yachts are available, both of which are docked in a quiet area just 4 Vaporetto (water bus) stops from St.

Everything, especially the bella note when Stefano prepared a fabulous repas for our 48 th anniversary. The cabin was beautifully appointed and the bathroom luxurious
This is a fantastic gem of a find. The service was second to none, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The yacht was spotless, and breakfast superb. I would most certainly recommend this stay.
Everything possible was done to make the 2 night stay enjoyable. The yacht is afloat but there is almost no movement at all - and virtually no noise. Breakfast out on deck in the morning sun and looking across the lagoon to Lido was especially memorable. The largest of cruise liners pass about 400m metres away as they leave Venice. Would we go again - we certainly hope to.
Our first night was in the smallest cabin which is VERY small and has bunk beds - for a 73 year old the top bunk was initially inaccessible. Extra steps were found but it was still difficult, but oh what comfortable mattresses.
The staff, led by the lovely Liliana, made us feel right at home aboard this ocean-going yacht. The staff prepared two world class Italian dinners and served a wonderful breakfast. All meals and cocktails served on one of three levels of open deck. We are now planning a 7-10 day cruise Summer of '16.
The fact we had to leave the beautiful yacht "Bert".
if you want a real Venice adventure, stay at this Yacht. I really enjoyed it.
Accommodations that were obviously outfitted with luxury and quality in mind, charming staff, beautifully quiet marina away from the hustle and bustle of Venice yet just a convenient vaporetto ride away
You feel like a celebrity inside the luxury yacht. Stefano and his family is very nice and friendly. After a while, you will be a member of Stefano family. you must try at least one time to have diner male on board. Stefano wife cock the most delicious Italian food. Thank you Stefano and hope to see you next year.
I just stay for one night :(
The motor yacht Bert feels like a luxury you shouldn't be able to afford. The hosts are welcoming, service is personal and nothing is too much trouble. It is at the far end of Venice, great views of the Lido and very handy for the vaporetto stop. It was good to be away from the busy tourist areas. We had a double cabin with jacuzzi bath. The bathroom is well appointed, the cabin is spacious and there is lots of storage space. Breakfast is excellent. Wi-fi is available on deck but not in the room-no problem to walk a few steps though. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again. Very highly recommend this specialty lodging.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was excellent. Stefano sent us very comprehensive directions and details by email in advance including a dinner menu that we requested. We would recommend getting a shared water taxi as you get dropped off on the pontoon behind the yacht which is such a way to arrive - we also got an unexpected Grand Canal tour as others were dropped off! The airport bus and Vaporetto are also easy, a bit cheaper but slower. We had a lovely welcome and were made to feel so at home. We had dinner on the first night and what can I say? Superb food and service with just the two of us dining on the deck on a luxury yacht overlooking the Lido - Wonderful. We had a twin cabin as we booked late which was great but the doubles are even better. Breakfast on deck is also lovely, plenty available and all very relaxed as there are so few guests on board. We liked being in the peaceful marina away from the melee of central Venice. Being a bit out of the way may not be for everyone but a night time walk back from St Mark's is a great wind down to peace and quiet after a day in the city. You can walk the waterfront in to and from the city or take the Vaporetto, all very easy. We couldn't recommend Bert enough; go and stay!
Nothing at all.
*clean *comfortable *good service *hospitality, the receptionist: she was so good *nice breakfast & especially the croissant
*The internet not in the room
everythinf was lovely! Thank you Bert <3
Nice boat & the owner takes care is the best part. Obviously expensive but ok sometime.
Very very small room, Bathroom. No water for bath. So many restictions about everything.
Amazing location in a quiet part of Venice but really easy access to the city and islands. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home! Lovely breakfast and fantastic facilities. Will definately be back to stay again!
St Elena is the perfect location where you will enjoy the view of the marina, the sunset and watch locals in the neighbourhood walking their dogs, and runners training for marathons in the mornings. Being away from the throngs of crowd and day-trippers, you will find real people and how they live.
The cabin for one person was really small and stuffy. However, I believe if you have a family, the other rooms could be much more comfortable.
A wonderful oasis away from the crowds in Venice. We were made to feel so welcome by Stefano and his family. The dock is only a 5 minute walk from the Sant Elena vaporetto stop, and a water taxi from the airport will drop you right next to MV Bert.
We had to go home :-(
Being on a yacht! The staff
New location in St Elena is ideal. Can see St Marks from the vaporetto stop Spotlessly clean on board and finished to a high standard. Very comfortable beds. Non intrusive staff. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Sweeping views towards Venice Lido. Good breakfast selection. Certainly a unique experience that sets itself apart from mundane generic hotels.
Enjoyed everything. Will certainly return.
Best eggs in Italy Cabin facilities were first rate Great location Friendly staff
Stefhon was a wonderful host location was fab lovely and quiet would stay there again which I am sure I will in the near future thank you julie
There was nothing not to like
The staff where so friendly and in amazing place to have a break from the crowds fell asleep on the deck watching the stars best place we have ever stayed and the room was perfect
A part of Venice I never knew existed. Great for a change.
sunbath on board, wifi, cheap drink, staff, location, costa
Staff was wonderful. We got very good instructions how to get there & how to move around Venice. Breakfast was nice and, rooms are very clean.
It is bit far from the actual centre of Venice...& after midnight you need to walk quite a while to get to the boat that takes you to the island. But it`s also how Venice works and not so much to do with the accommodation. ;)
Stefano was a superb host - and wow what a chef too! Gina was a wonderful hostess who was always there whenever we asked for anything, with the rest of the crew faultless as well. A stay on board Bert cannot be bettered! We felt like Movie Stars!
Having to leave!
Very attentive and friendly staff. Very good breakfast included.
Our cabin had twin beds and a very small bathroom, but if you chose the cabins with queen size beds, they are more spacious and have larger bathrooms.
