Starhotels Metropole is in Rome's central Repubblica area, 90 metres from the Opera House. Termini Station, Rome's terminal for metro, buses and trains, is a 5-minute walk away.
Score from 1953 reviews Very good
Hotel Adriano is set in an elegant 17th-century building in central Rome, a 5-minute walk from the Pantheon and the shopping street Via Del Corso. Rooms are stylish and air-conditioned.
Score from 1023 reviews Very good
Hotel Condotti is a small and cosy boutique hotel, located on a peaceful, typical street of Rome's historic centre. It is just around the corner from the famous Spanish Steps.
Score from 1147 reviews Superb
Located on Rome’s main shopping street, Del Corso is 500 metres from the Spanish Steps and 350 metres from Piazza Del Popolo. It offers free Wi-Fi and a varied breakfast.

Location Friendly staff
The smell from the toilet. The only way to be in the room is to open the window in the bathroom. Noisy. Bad luck if the neighbouhrs are loud.
Location was very convenient for walking and taking the metro. We got bumped up to the luxury suites, the room was spacious and quiet.
Breakfast lacked a little variety.
First time in Rome so not much experience with the hotels but if this is 4 stars then I cant imagine what 2 stars hotels are like. Mozart is very small and very very basic.
Excellent & safe location, clean and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast too, with enough varieties for us to go round during our 4 day stay. Helped by very efficient wait staff.
For some reasons, taxis would not drive right up to the hotel entrance along the narrow lane. We were left on the main street, and had to lug our heavy suitcases some distance away. Not any fault of the hotel though. Had to reconnect the wifi every now and then but it worked well.
Location, staff, and ambience
The bed...not good too hard and nosiy if your room backs up to via del corso.
Deliciuos breakfast, great location, friendly and helpful staff
The room next to the bar was less than sound-proof and lacked window (but had doors opening out on a terrace). Intermittent wifi problems.
Excellent location - could walk everywhere in Rome, beautiful roof top garden, free breakfast with wide variety of items, value for the money, friendly staff, nice car service to airport, room was clean and attractive. I would recommend the hotel to friends and would stay here again if I came back to Rome.
Drain in shower smelled a little funny - staff tried to take care of it but the best solution was covering the drain with a wet towel when not in use. Wifi was free but not always dependable in our room.
Perfect location, good value of money
The front desk was very helpful when my wallet was stolen. They rang visa straight away.
Location is great! Hospitable staff
Rooms are so small ( even double)that either you can open the closet or get to the bathroom.Floors are marble, which is usual in Rome and it is good in summer, but in November, when not drown, you may catch cold like me. And if the window of your room faces the street via del Grecci, forget about sleep, but you'll learn all the logistics surrounding area restaurants and intimate details of life going on around and that is very authentic. But that is what you came for?
Near busy area, so a lot is close to walk to rooms were excellent, quiet- even though facing the street pleasant rooftop bar helpful staff- restaurant suggestions, & have driver to get to the airport excellent breafast
Cab can't drop you off-restricted streets can take awhile to figure out how to get to the rooftop bar like most European rooms-limited closet space
Very clean, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and very nice staff.
The shower was a bit small but nothing impossible.
Location was excellent
Booked Superior room but I did not think it was a Superior room for what we paid.
Roof top garden with wine bar. Great breakfast Great service Great location between my two favorite piazzas.
Wi fi week in room
Reasonable price for good enough quality, nice location.
If you go to the airport by taxi in the evening (especially within a weakend) reserve enough time as most of streats around are blocked be numerous turists/locals
Terrace on the roof Breakfast
Size of the bedroom - too small
Helpful staff; Terrific breakfast included; lovely room; good, firm beds; large, tiled shower; clean; excellent security; helpful staff; good restaurants nearby; always felt safe. Would definitely stay there again. Rome is so very lovely.
1- Printed boarding passes on computers provided by the hotel. The computers are very slow and should probably be updated. On the other hand, it could just be my impatience! 2- It is a long walk to the Spanish steps & the Trevi Fountain. The closest hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus stop is the Trevi Fountain bus stop.
This is our second visit to the Mozart having stayed there seven years ago. We will return when we are back in Rome. Good location. Helpful staff. Very smooth operation. Rooms are small but comfortable. Rooftop bar is wonderful at dusk.
1. Taxi access is tricky. Advise if arriving or departure by air use the limousine service the hotel offers. Otherwise you may end up hauling your luggage a couple blocks. 2. The bathrooms can be uncomfortably small. 3. Wifi is okay but sometimes very slow
Great location, rooms adequate, good breakfast, beautiful terrace
Rooms facing Via Del Corso very noisy so request back room
Tiny bed, very old pillows. Staff at the bar on the roof garden unfriendly, arrogant. Lift not working properly.
Location, roof garden. Breakfast
Nothing significant. No lift to part of 4th floor wasa slight downside.
Very helpful staff. Good location, clean, up-to-date, Wi-Fi, nice breakfast, and very professional helpful staff.
The tile floors in the hallway radiated noise from people walking and especially when pulling suitcases. FYI - to get to our room we had to take one elevator from the lobby, then walk to another elevator to our floor.
Location was superb and nothing was too much trouble for the staff in helping you
Air conditioning was set so the room was either too hot or too cold - minor point
Right near the Spanish Steps and walking to everything. Nice staff and wonderful small roof top for drinks and dining. Staffed by Roseanna, very nice. Helpful in arranging a car to and from the airport. Good value.
