The location of the hotel was so convenient that you could move to the sightseeings easily. Even if you stayed out until midnight you could go to the hotel without bearing in mind that somebody might scare you.
The breakfast did not have variety. That means that it could have either eggs or fruits in the morning. It was really poor.
Location Staff Value for money
Can't think of anything at all!
Location was perfect. Rooms were spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The internet was spotty and cost extra. The air conditioning was set and could not be adjusted. The shower leaked water all over the floor.
The location was amazing! Everything is nearby.
Breakfast was a bit poor. Cheese, ham and bread with coffe and juice. Missed eggs and/or a wider selection of breads.
Location was perfect beside cathedral. Baggage was stored while waiting for room. Price was reasonable.
The decor is tired and worn. Single room was small. Hotel needs update and investment. Breakfast offer very basic. Overall it is a very average option. Don't expect much.
good location and nice room
there is no free wifi, u have to pay for it and the breakfast is cold as usual in italy.
wifi is not for free
very very central for tourism The room is huge Very helpful staff when I asked for hot water
Carpet in corridor's floor felt a bit dampy
We requested a nice view and instead of being located at the Hotel Lanzi its primary location it seemed they had several locations available. We got a room located at the Piazza della Republica at the 3rd floor with a small balcony with great view, even looking over the roofs to the top of the Duomo and Campanile. The room was very spacious, had its own kitchen and it looked very nice inside, very luxurious, high ceiling, old buidling. We stayed for only two nights (have been in Florence several times) so this was an unique location this time, not only the view but also the location, in between for instance the Duomo and the Piazza della Signoria. We had no breakfast included but if you take the Via del Corso you will find after a two minutes walk at the left side a small affordable coffee room paying €2 for a cappuccino instead of the €6+ at the Piazza della Republica; also croissants and other nice bread options. Although not allowed by car to reach this location in the center we did it anyway and the hotel arranged that our car was picked up at the Piazza della Republica by people of a garage and the service included that the garage brought the car back at the same spot the morning we left. Cost were €24 per day, only full day payment, so not per hour. We loved this service. So this was a very nice experience, beautiful location, great hotel room for a reasonable price.
The location was right in the middle of Florence. The view from the window of the duomo was also terrific. They don't have smoking rooms, but there is a convenient smoking area.
You have to hand in the key to the reception every time you leave the building and then ask for it back when you get back, which seems pointless. The hairdryer is average.
Excellent hotel. The staff were very welcoming and the location is perfect for travellers. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Well, I liked everything nothing bad about the place. perhaps they can offer a better ironing service as they don't give you an iron. this is not a big deal for me any other time , however this time it was a hassle as I went to a wedding during my stay.
Excellent location in the heart of Florence. A good price for the facilities provided.
Excellent position less than 50m from Duomo. Rooms are very good with AC and elegant furnitures. Don't be scared by the entrance from the street, the reception is located at the first floor and is really nice
The situation next the Dome, the vue on it. It's ok, you can go if you don't care about little stuffs and you accept to pay 50eur/pers for something where......
The breakfast is very very simple, the shower broken + bloked + with hairs + not enought soap etc, the bed is not confortable, the decoration is very old, the walls on the room are dirty,... So, is realy for the good situation...
Location, Right by the Duomo, Close to the Ufizi and a short walk to the Arno
The rooms were slightly dirty, the breakfast was boring and even the coffee was bad and who has bad coffee in Italy. The staff was minimally polite with as little interaction as possible.
Breakfast was delicious and the room was nice and clean. Exactly like what is in the pictures. Very close to the Duomo!!
Hot and the elevator was a bit sketchy.
The staff was so nice. View from windows were just amazing! Perfect localizaction!
The noise from the street in the early morning
Nice staff nice breakfast Everything is nice !!!
Suburb location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast
Can't think of anything to dislike.
Perfect location; just 50 meters to Il Duomo & all Florence is in walking distance. Relatively cheaper prices vs other hotels in Florence.
Hotel is not a 3-star quality, you should expect 1-2 stars quality. Reception is on the first floor. If you choose a single room you get a single bed, quite small. Decoration of the room is very old, need renewal.
Room was small.
The location is wonderful. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the lake.
The walls are very thin so if you get noisy people it is disturbing. The decor is not updated and seems worn. The rooms with views are right on the road so there is road noise continuously.
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They went out of their way to help. The location was excellent. Great value .
Actually I liked everything.
Everything was fine
We had no complaints at all.
Right next to the Duomo with all other attractions branching off around you within easy walking dustance. 15min walk from the station (with luggage).
Nothing, but the proximity to the Duomo means that the bells could be a problem for some light sleepers. Although we had no issues.
