In the middle of the city centre, great staff, breakfast was ok for an Italian hotel, clean rooms.
wifi connection, but you're in the centre of Florence so you don't really need wifi.
Location. This is why the rating is so high. Probably value for money, also, although if you add the city tax and the wifi... Staff are ok, also. Nice, smiling, but not extremely eager to help. There was only one exception - a receptionist called Martina.
First of all wifi - extremely expensive (4 hours cost the money I pay at home for a month!), and, despite this, completely useless. It's a disgrace to pay a lot of money for wifi that does not work. Rooms - pretty shabby. You could actually see through the blankets, this is how worn out they were! Breakfast - poor. I stayed longer, and when the hotel was not full, you could get the breakfast from the previous day.
Centrally located, Great staff...very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay again and will tell others to also visit. Good value for the money!
Nothing to report.
Great location and pleasant room and accommodating.
Excellent location, 30 seconds from the Dome and a perfect base for exploring the city. 24h reception, breakfast from 7.30am, giving enough time to eat and visit the museums in the early morning.
Amazing location,friendly staff,clean room,everything was fine.
Just the wifi! You cannot pay for wifi in 2014.
Close to everything, next door to a grocery and restaurants. Breakfast was fine for Italy. Beds quite comfortable.
It was a little noisy by nigth since the shops and restaurants are cosing and opening the shutters many times per night. A fridge and a teapot would make the stay more comfortable.
The location was central to all the sights and for just wandering around. With the central location comes a lot of noise so although the room offering a view of the Duomo was fantastic the noise of revelers in the streets made a good nights sleep elusive. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Unable to connect with the wifi in the room due to signal strength.
Bedroom and Bathroom very clean Great location
The check in process very slow took so much time Small breakfast room Poor breakfast for the price paid
There was free internet only for one hour but seemed to expire pretty fast then we have to pay.
Great location, quite clean, staff is friendly.
Awful breakfast - no variety at all.
Close to center, Duomo Found us another one of their locations when we decided to stay longer, very polite and spoke different languages, breakfast good.
Great location. You get there everything you need without bells and whistles.
No wifi (only if you pay)-in 2014, how is this possible?
The friendly staff were most obliging. Central location. Value for money. Great selection for breakfast too. Rooms well appointed with modern bathroom. Would stay here again.
The little lift and neon sign which flickers. Both could be improved upon.
The size of the room and the age of the furniture and the facilities .
This hotel was centally located to everything you want to see in Florence. I think it was the closest hotel to the Dome that I know of and it was walking distance to litterally everything you would want to see in Florence.
The only thing we weren't impressed with was the small breakfast area and very limited selection of breakfast items to choose from. But becaue of the location, I would stay there again.
Great central location! We had a window overlooking the street and duomo. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast spread every morning.
Reception is on the second floor and rooms are above that so we tackled many flights of stairs on our 3 night stay.
The room was lovely and we had a view down a lane right to the big cathedral. Central location close to just about everywhere.
Had to pay for wifi. No bar fridge... and I do like a cold beer after sightseeing. Breakfast layout was like a rugby scrum. Everyone trying to get into limited space to reach bread, coffee, juice and the toast machine.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was right next to the Duomo and very close to the museums. The staff was okay, but they spoke in good english.
The elevator was really cramped. It had space for only 1 person with luggage. The breakfast was really disappointing. The house-keeping staff took away our personal wine glasses. However, they returned it when we asked for it. The air conditioner was not effective at all and wi-fi was chargeable.
Location is good Staff are very friendly
Funny smell in the hotel. So weird that i can't tell what the smell is. Facilities are old. Not very comfortable. One hour free wifi. I would rather not have the breakfast included in the price but I want wifi.
Excellent hotel right in the centre of town and a minutes walk from the Duomo and very close to the museums. Staff were lovely and spoke excellent English. They also had a parking arrangement with a local garage who for a reasonable fee would collect the car, store it safely locally and re deliver it to the hotel within 30 mins on request. Really enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend.
Only downside was having to pay for wifi Internet after the first hour.
No free wifi.
Fantastic location and good value
Breakfast was adequate but really cramped and crowded at the buffet
Location Cleanliness Friendly staff
An elderly lady member of the staff who was present at breakfast and was rather rough with guests.
