Palazzo Tolomei - Residenza D'Epoca  

Everything - I can't wait to recommend this place to friends and family. Danielle was incredible and a very gracious host. Full of knowledge and ready to share insights about Florence. The Palazzo was gorgeous, clean, and modern. This was a 10 out of 10 for me!

Staying at Palazzo Tolomei was a highlight of our trip. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. the stay was definately unforgetable.

The welcome was fantastic, ideal after several hours travelling with a young child. Complementary drinks and food on arrival and friendly smiles and relaxed conversation. The tranquil setting, the narrow central courtyard providing peace and light, the music and reading rooms, the high painted ceilings dating to the Middle Ages and with the heart of Florence literally on the doorstep.

the decor was absoluut amazing.Danielle and her staff wonderfull and felt like family. We loved our suite.Kitchen well equiped with beautiful things.

A hairdrier would be handy, no dustbins in the room tissues in bathroom.

We can't begin to describe how incredible Palazzo Tolomei was - it was one of our stops on our honeymoon and we loved everything about it. We slept under 17th century frescos and Daniella and her staff were amazing - always friendly and welcoming!! You didn't feel like you were in a corporate style hotel an amazing and unique experience and a big recommendation for anyone visiting florence. We love Palazzo Tolomei and want to go back there in Florence always. Thank you to Daniella and her staff for such incredible memories :)

Everything was just PERFECT could not fault the place

Daniella and Ciara made us so welcome from the minute we arrive. The room we stayed in was totally amazing with a ceiling fresco dating back 400 years. The furniture and decor were perfect allowing us to relax totally after a long day walking round Florence. The location is brilliant for getting to all the attractions and Ciara took the time to show us the best routes on a maps. Their local recommendations for restaurants etc proved Excellent and invaluable.

The room was a bit on the small side, at only 900 square feet!!!

Wonderful hotel! Very romantic, perfectly located not far from Duomo - 3 minutes' walk. Huge room (superlux). Everything you need for the comfortable stay. Besides, it is a real Florence palazzo where you can feel the spirit of Old Firenze - the historic building with typical medieval yard, high ceilings in the room with very beautiful frescos, huge mirrors, very big sitting-rooms where you can sit and rest, read and have a perfect coffee. It is more like your own apartment, not a hotel, where you will feel like home. All day long you can have free coffee with cookies in one of the cosy sitting-room. Signora Daniela, the Master of the hotel, is very hospitable beautiful lady who welcomes every guest and makes you feel very comfortable. She really loves her place and cares about you and your comfort. Staff is also very friendly, beautiful and nice - ready to help, order excursions and tickets to all museums and galleries for you not to stand in long lines. We had a feeling that we were living in real museum. At the same time the room is modern and has all the facilities - modern good furniture, sofas, very stylish, good modern bathtube, teapot. Everything is new and very good. For women - hairdresser' s saloon with good prices is just the opposit door from the hotel - it was very convenient! We will return to Palazzo Tolomei for sure! Now in Florence we know the Hotel number one!!!

We liked everything!!! Maybe only The cafe where breakfast is served and breakfast itself - not so perfect experience. But it did not matter much and you can always have breakfast at the hotel - have coffee etc. We went to the cafe to have breakfast only once and then preferred to do it in the hotel where staff were always friendly and welcoming.

We liked this hotel very much, nice design,comfortable, very friendly staff, especially the hostess, who offered us even better room (actually 2 rooms) than we booked for the same price, as a compliment we had a bottle of nice Italian wine and a chocolate box, when she got to know we had a year anniversary of our relationship. Grazie mille, Daniella!

The owner Danielle was MOST welcoming. Her staff also were very friendly and accommodating. The room was AMAZING and we felt like royalty by the way they treated us:)

The bathroom had no door that adjoined the upstairs bedroom.

It is our 2d time in Palazzo Tolomei during Pitti Exhibition and this is a real florentine gem. This is a very special experience which we do not want to miss. Daniela, the host, is incredibly warm person, so you immediately feel like at home.
