Murano Palace

Excellent location for something a little different to Venice yet so easy to get to Venice.The canal view room was spectacular and Cesaere an excellent and welcoming host

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, we were very lucky to be given a room overlooking the canal which was great. Cesare (owner of the hotel) could not be more helpful. He truly made a good hotel into a great one! Very personal, easy to get to from the boat stops, and a very short boat ride to the main island. Wouldn't hesitate in going back.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Murano is wonderful if you are looking for a relaxing city break, and is only minutes from the main hustle and bustle of main venice. Only downsides are that almost nothing seems to open in Murano after 8pm, so dinner has to be in Venice.

Hospitality of Cesare the owner was second to none - friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and lived up to the online description. Location on Murano was perfect - central for everything yet not on the main canal so retained peace and quiet.

Bed was a little too firm, although that is a matter of personal taste. Access to tea/coffee facilities apart from breakfast would have bed nice.

The owner cesare is absolutely delightful. We loved every moment we spent there. So hospitable and helpful in all ways. We would definitely return.

Milano is a quiet spot close to Venoce

Missed the last vallbrettp back to the island and had to purchase expense taxi back

Everything! It's quite simply one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The owner and his family are wonderful and the location stunning. Get a canal view room - you wont regret it.

Murano Palace was the perfect place to stay for our silver wedding anniversary. It was beautiful waking up each day to the canal bathed in sunlight and to feel we had escaped from the Venice crowds. That said,the waterbus service is excellent from Murano and we were able to explore Venice thoroughly and get to Lido for the Film Festival.

Great location just away from hustle & bustle of Venice itself. Glass jewellery made on island so great for women. Cesare was a very helpful host. Nothing was a problem. His family have made jewellery for generations & his son owns a very good restaurant not far from Murano Palace, which we also thoroughly enjoyed. We found this to be a very relaxing stay. Cesare also provided us with good instructions with which ferry (s) to take from train station when arriving in Venice, which made everything easy. Breakfast was very good also & a good pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful spot on Murano Island. Staff are extremely warm and helpful. The hotel has beautifully furnished modern rooms. Bathrooms are tiled and spotless with modern fixtures. It was a truly lovely surprise to find. Breakfast in the morning was good with some good coffee.

The only thing that would have been nice is an elevator to bring up suitcases.

Angenehme und ruhige Lage abseits vom Trubel, vor allem am Abend und in der Nacht. Extrem freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer.

Natürlich kein "Palace" und auch kein richtiges Hotel, sondern ein "Bed and Breakfast". Das Frühstück könnte in dieser Preisklasse etwas großzügiger sein.

De onvriendelijkheid van de italiaanse bevolking. Buiten de gastheer van ons hotel hebben we niet veel vriendelijkheid mogen ervaren... Jammer

Die Lage nahe Venedigl. Sauberkeit des Zimmers. Gute Heizung. Freundlichkeit des Holteliers (fast ein wenig zu viel)

Das Hotel verdient eher den Namen Bed and Breakfast, da es keine Lobby gibt, keine Bar oder Restaurant, wo man etwas zu Trinken oder Essen bekommen kann. In Murano schließen die letzten der wenigen Lokale wenn die Tagestouristen abgereist sind, so ca. um 18.30. Daher stimmt auch das Preis /Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz. Unser Zeimmer war sehr klein Ca. 10-12 Quadratmeter. Die Terasse war ein normaler Balkon mit Ausssicht auf den Hinterhof, bzw. das Nachbargebäude. EDas Frühstück ist nach heuteigem Standard eher mittelmäßig

отель небольшой, семейный (в смысле управляется семьёй и ей же принадлежит) для Венеции достаточно свежий (недавно был ремонт ???) синьер Сезарио достаточно любезен и словоохотлив, тем более, что на первом этаже магазин муранского стекла и бижутерии (ему же принадлежащий), а в квартале за углом ресторан его сына (кстати неплохо кормят)- наверное единственный новый на острове...

Венеция есть Венеция!- и этим все сказано... кооператив по изыманию дензнаков у туристов любыми законными и около/почти/законными методами и средствами. отель не пять и даже не четыре звезды в обычном понимании: чистые номера (всего около 10) в стиле новых русских ремонтов начала 90-х, ванна/туалет на уровне. ТВ 17' в шести метрах от изголовья и восемь программ RAI. завтрак холодный и скудный, хоть и преподносится как континентальный, кофемашина спасает ненадолго, но нет даже микроволновки. плохо еще то, что на Мурано совсем нечего делать, нечего посмотреть кроме фабрики стекла, поэтому цена неоправдана ничем.

Nous avons aimé sa situation au bord du Canal de Murano avec vue sur le canal et le calme le soir. Sa situation centrale à Murano au milieu de la Lagune de Venise, à 10 minute en vaporreto de la place St Marc et du Palais des Doges et de l'ile de Burano, du Lido. La belle décoration de la chambre aux couleurs de Venise. La propreté de la chambre et de la belle salle de bain. L'acceuil chaleureux de Cesare et sa passion à décrire et à faire partager les choses à découvrir tant à Murano qu'à Venise même, sans oublier Burano et Le Lido. A connaitre et à découvrir en toute autonomie loin des visites "organisées" où se pressent les touristes en groupe : question de choix.

Perfekte Lage um die Inseln um Venedig herum und Vendig selbst zu erkunden, zentral ( nur wenige Minuten mit Wassertaxi ) und doch angenehm ruhig. Das Familär geführte Hotel ist einfach goldig und ein Hotelchef der sich kümmert. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden und können es empfehlen.

La gentillesse de Césario qui fait son maximum pour rendre le séjour agréable. La grande qualité de décoration des chambres, la tranquillité due à l'ile elle même et à la qualité des aménagements (fenêtres double vitrage, clim silencieuse),

Murano n'est pas Venise et du coup ça fait un peu cher pour un lieu qui tient plus de la chambre d’hôtes que d'un hôtel 4 étoiles (petit déjeuner très succinct, pas de service bagagerie, pas d'accueil après 20 heures, pas d'espace en dehors de la chambre, aucune activité sur Murano le soir en semaine donc obligation de se déplacer sur Venise à moins d'être en voyage de noce). La même prestation a un prix plus raisonnable aurait appelé des commentaires tout à fait différents.

The location is excellent. Quiet area, only 5 min walk to the boat and 5-10 min with vaporetto to Venice, Muraono is first stop (20-25min ) from Marco Polo airport. The hotelowners are very kind and helpfull. Small family hotel, nice breakfast. The hotel room is very nice and large with a clean bathroom.

We couldn't find any negative issue to share, perhaps we would prefer softer pillow.
