Central location. The owner has a background in Murano glass production and is very helpful and informative.
Not much is happening in Murano at night.
Room was pretty and clean.
No full time service person at front desk. Our AC went out on our one night there so that night was hot and uncomfortable. Staff was finally located and brought a fan but you can't open the windows at night there are too many mosquitoes from the canal. Garbage pickup in the very early morning is loud from the street below. I think I may have read a poor review before booking due to AC failure and booked anyway. Regardless without AC it's a very uncomfortable room for a night You will also drag your bags pretty far and carry them without help up two flights of stairs. With AC working my review would have been better.
The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Peace and quiet after the crowds of Venice.
The only fault I could think of was maybe to be able to make tea and coffee in the rooms in the evening.
Everything is perfect
Loved the location, the decor and the delicious breakfast as well as the lovely, friendly and very helpful Francesca who made us very welcome.
Amazing staff! Breakfast was lovely! Abit out of the way from venice itself but was good to be! Easy transportation to anywhere by water bus! I would recommend to anyone! Absolutely amazing thank you :)
The hotel is absolutely charming, and Cesare is an excellent host! We were there in May 2014 for our honeymoon, and we were treated like family rather than guests. Cesare upgraded our room to one with a balcony over the canal, spent a lot of time walking us through some history of Murano as well as giving us detailed maps and instructions of where to go and how to get around. Breakfast was great, and Cesare was more than willing to let us check out a little late so we could enjoy his beautiful island a little longer.
Nothing! Our stay was absolutely fantastic!
Canel view, lovely spot on beautiful Murano. Quiet escape from Venice proper but very easy and quick access to Venice, Airport, train station by water bus and outer islands Burano, Lido. The host Mr Giodani is the best!! Extremely helpful with map guidance, recommendations and very friendly.
Very friendly and very clean.
Excellent location for the airport and Venice.
Not much choice of restaurants on the island. By 9pm everything was closing.
Ceasor the owner was great. He knew we were on the water taxi moving from Venice to Murano and kept an eye open for us as we walked down the street. He could not help us enough and even allowed us to keep our room until 5:00 p.m. On checkout day. Nice resturants in Murano and his sons restaurant which is only a short stroll away is really good. The Murano Palace is right on the Main Street but only has 6 rooms. Murano is busy during the day but nice and quiet at nice. Nice bar directly across from the Ceasors place that is also nice and quiet for a late afternoon drink.
We found nothing that we did not like. We traveled through Italy with another couple and would define tely return to the Murano Palace
location is excellent, short walk from the waterbus station, access to Venice was so easy, yet so tranquil to be out on Murano. We had a room overlooking the canal, lovely. Cesare was wonderfully helpful, a very good host.
No cheese or meat slices for the croissants at breakfast, but the coffee was great.
Owner nice, polite and advised us a lot
Room a bit small,no lobby....
From the moment we arrived at Murano Family, the owner Cesare made us feel at home. He was most helpful in making sure we know where to go and what to do in and arround Murano as well as Venice. We would definitely stay here again!
Cesare, the owner, was welcoming and very helpful, including with a late arrival and early departure. The location is perfect - an ideal escape from the manic-ness of Venice, but an easy ferry ride to anywhere.
Loved almost everything about this place, perfect if you want to be removed from Venice at night. Staff is wonderful!!!
Only negative was that it was difficult to get to Venice at night...where the night boats ran from made it almost an hour trip to get into town.
The Murano Palace is well located with views over the canal. The room was excellent and well-decorated in classical style. Cesare is almost overpoweringly helpful.
It is really rooms with a breakfast room and small reception desk. The 'Palace' and 'Hotel' are somewhat inappropriate. It is expensive compared with other accommodation in Murano although there are only 3 (one just opened) other hotels and in season accommodation is booked.
