The kindness of MArco the owner, the room, the location, the comfort...in a few words everything was perfect.
The fact the I could not find any wifi.
The host spent a lot of time with us explaining the environs and places to go in historic Naples. We were across the street from the great archeological museum.
Very nice place and location. Marco was an excellent host!
The host is really nice
Large room. clean
no wifi in the room. the room had a small window which was very high.
Marco loves his home city and is a very gracious and dedicated host, who arranged for a taxi to take my friends to the airport even though they weren't staying at the B&B.
Personally, I would have been better off a bit further away from the madding crowd of the city but that is not the fault of the B&B, which was lovely.
Close by Metro and old town. Marco, the host was very friendly give us excellent advice for Naples. interesting place.
outside building is bit rough but differenct inside.
Good location close to Museum & Metro. On 6th floor once shutters closed at night is relatively quiet for a city. Our room was big and very comfortable bed in fact best night's sleep of 10 day trip in Italy. Marco is great giving you all info you need - breakfast is relaxed in traditional kitchen lovely fresh bread, ham cheese, fresh fruit etc. For first time visitor to Naples street looks a bit grim so much graffiti but behind huge front door all feels safe & calm! Would stay here again.
The manager Marco was very helpful and friendly and he had many really good tips. He was very knowledgeable about the areas history, culture and sites of interest. The breakfast was very tasty and it was nice to eat and talk with the other guests around the common dining table. The room was quite big and very well laid out and designed in good contemporary taste. The shower and bathroom were also quite big and well designed. The B&B is right across the street from the National Archaeological museum and within short walking distance of all the sites in the old city of Naples.
The water pressure in the shower abit low, probably due to the thick layer of scale on it. This was really the only problem and I think it is really minor.
The bright spacious room and bathroom. The communal breakfast table and the view from the kitchen balcony.
The street noise at night.
Very convenient for our purpose of going to the archaeological Museum which is just across the street. Marco gave us a list of the other sites to see in Naples. And he also provided us with a very nice map of the sites. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT HOW TO FIND THE B&B.
Bothersome to have to take the car to a parking garage pay additional for parking and then find your way back to the B&B. it's on a very busy street and sirens go day and night. A little difficult to find if you don't read the instructions carefully. The elevator only goes to the fifth floor and the B&B is on the six floor. But that's okay you just need to read the instructions.
The streets of Napoli are quite dirty and full of graffiti and speeding motorbikes, but you step into this charming place and there's peace and quiet. For breakfast in a beautiful kitchen, I was offered cheese, salami, different spreads to go with my bread, among other things like great coffee, juice, omelet. Marco is wonderful at being helpful, but also giving you your privacy. I could hear all the traffic noises (so many sirens!) through the small window in my room but also church bells ringing!
The external bathroom was slightly moldy, perhaps due to poor ventilation.
Marco is amazing and loves his city. He helped us with everything from the best places to wander and eat to booking event tickets for the evenings. The rooms are modern and clean and breakfast was delicious. Allergies and preferences are easily and cheerfully catered for. Staying at B&B Museum made Naples come alive. Looking forward to coming back.
The owner Marco was very helpful, informative, friendly and accommodating! Grey place to stay if you want to discover the breathtaking 'centro storico'. Highly recommended!!! Remi
Nice host, nice location and fine house. Nice kitchen.
Marco the owner is super nice. Value is really worth.
Marco is perfect host, charming, enthusiastic and helpful making easy atmosphere and speaks excellent English. Could not be better situated for museum & city center.
Noisy but city center so to be expected. A bit high up on 6th floor but lift to 5th floor.
On the northern edge of the city center, next to the museum, 10 minutes walk from the center and 20 from the harbour with a reasonable price tag this is a great base for discovering Naples. I travelled alone and without having had the time to read much about the city (a spontaneous trip) but Marco, the owner of the B&B Museum, recieved me with a drink, a city map and more tourist information than I would have found at any tourist information center. He's a very friendly host, passionate about his city and speaks excellent english. I had a great time and will definitely go back at some point.
We spent 2 nights in Napoli and chose B&B Museo after reading the very good reviews, and we must say we are glad we did! Marco is a wonderful host and we had a great stay there! He served us beautiful coffee and biscuits when we arrived and gave us great recommendations about his city that he loves so much! The B&B is very charming and very well situated, right in front of the metro stop and the main museum, but very quiet nonetheless.. We loved it and won't hesitate going back next time to go to Napoli, try it too!
The host Marco does a great job and is very friendly and helpful. This is really a nice and memorable place to stay. I would stay here another time.
Marco was the host with the most. Exceptionally knowledgeable about his city. Advised us that the Archaeology Museum was open on the Sat night we were there - what a treat that was. Having a view of Vesuvius from our bedroom was an added bonus.
My daughter with whom I was travelling says - Bring earplugs as the traffic noise is incessant.
Very good location Incredible host Very low price Spacious Room Thanks Marco for good advice to visit
Sometimes the Wifi is not good, but it's not so important :D
+ Marco was a great host helping us to make the most of our time in Napoli + Great location in the historical center
Marco is a fantastic host, he loves Naples and is full of great information. Bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for walking the historical centre and of course is right across from the museum.
Couldn't use the spa bath as it was so dirty. Needs thorough cleaning.
Marco's enthusiasm for Napoli is contagious! He took plenty of time to explain the map to us and to give us suggestions about museums and restaurants. When our tablet wouldn't do what I needed, he helped me try to do the same thing on his computer. (The web site wasn't functioning correctly, but he tried several times to help.) The location is great! NOTE: if you are looking at an old metro map, then you might misunderstand his directions using line 1! Metro line 1 has expanded since our map was produced. We had no problem finding the B & B. Several signs are outside. We aren't familiar with using a buzzer system to communicate, but someone else was also waiting to enter the building, and he pressed the buttons for us to be able to talk with Marco. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bed was very comfortable for us (firm mattress). Marco reserved a taxi for us for 7:30 the morning of our departure, and that process worked well. In 10 minutes we were at the airport. The cost was 19 Euro, plus I tipped the driver because we had 2 bags that he took care of for us.
Nothing was wrong, but I want to let people know that we have made several trips to Europe, so we are somewhat accustomed to adjusting to new cultures. A first-time visitor to Europe might be more comfortable in a full-service hotel. For us, B & B Museum was exactly what we needed. Marco was only a phone call away if we had needed him while he was not on location. He is an excellent B & B owner!
