My Charming House

Very welcoming and amenable owner. The position was fabulous, only a short stroll to Minori and some good restaurants, general stores and bakeries. Her additional service of arranging car parking at a reasonable cost was invaluable. Bus stop right outside the door for access to other major tourist spots.

Lovely apartment, Simona was so helpful! Just a nice place to stay to explore the coast.

Parking is tricky but doable.

At the arrival I was welcomed by a very friendly Simone, who stopped the bus just in front of the My charming house. Also in the room there was a welcoming bottle of local wine and some snacks. The apartment itself (a moon) was quite cozy. I liked the bedroom with a window facing the living room. There was a fully equipped kitchen with everything one may need for preparing some simple meals. The only thing that could be improved was the doors for the freezers which was missing. The location is nice and very close to the beach and the Minori town. A piece of advise though: although in theory it is in Ravello, in fact, it is quite far from it, around 2 km up the hill with no direct buses. So if your main destination for visiting is Ravello, you should consider picking something in the center of Ravello.

Although I liked my stay it may not be convenient for tall people. Considering the bathroom it would certainly be difficult to use if you are tall or super-size. It was quite small. Additionally, a shampoo was missing.

Simona, our hostess was charming too. The apartment was very nicely decorated and was furnished with everything we needed. The bus stop was right in front. Very convenient for seeing all the little towns on the coast. The town of Minori, just 2 blocks from the apt., was very quaint and friendly, with great little restaurants and a grocery store. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return again someday.

The owner lives on site and is really charming. She met us at a pre-arranged time, which can be a little bit limiting. The apartment is located on the coastal road, which is great for the views across the Amalfi coast. However, access to the garage is REALLY difficult and takes courage (which sums up the driving experience in Naples/amalfi in general). Lovely apartment. Not super modern but very comfortAble.

It was very noise because its on the main road. I wouldn't stay there again.

We had a great stay. The staff was so friendly and flexible. We arrived quite late, later than planned due a delay of our plane. This was no problem for My Charming House. Although it was almost midnight, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We felt right at ease in the beautiful and spacious apartment. In the morning we were so happy when we looked out of our window. The views are stunning! Beach and supermarket are both on walking distance, which is great. The private parking place was a great benefit for us as well. We would defenitely stay again in My Charming House, thank you for our great holiday in your apartment!

Location. Right on the Amalfi Coast highway, just west of Minori. Price. Staff/organization: Simona runs this small business as professionally as any medium- or large-scale hotel. Yet, she provides a personal touch that is indeed "charming".

Nothing that we didn't like. There are things to be aware of, especially if you're "mature" or tall or husky, physically. We stayed in the smaller of the two apartments. Someone taller than 182 cm (6 ft) or who's -- let's be honest -- fat will have a hard time using the shower. Otherwise, It was comfortable, well-equlpped, clean. It's literally right on the road, and others, here, have complained of road noise. We didn't have any real problem with that, but I can understand how a light sleeper might.

My family stayed at My Charming House for our holidays in Amalfi coast. It is very close to the Minori beach and with a nice view of the coast. Simona is a very nice and warm person. When I confused with the timing of arrival time, she and her mom picked us up from the next station. My Charming House is very well decorated and beautiful. Simona responsed our phone calls and emails very promptly. She had bottled water chilled in the fridge for us and even had a bottle of wine and snack to welcome us. It was very thoughtful and kind.

It is close to the high way on second floor. If the window is open, it can be very noisy, but with the air condition and window shut. It is fine.

The owner, Simone, was so welcoming and helpful. She even got up early on the last day to personally help us get our luggage onto the bus. The apartment was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and with a marvellous view over the Amalfi coast.

As the apartment is quite old, though beautifully renovated, the arched ceilings are quite low and would make it difficult for people 6 ft or taller, esp. in the bathroom. It was right on the main road, so it could be noisy.

We were welcomed by Simona and Simone and so pleased with the location of the apartment. It had beautiful views of the coast, bus stop right outside to get to Amalfi and only a short walk to Minori (5 mins) where there were a few shops, cafes and restaurants by the beach. Also a gusimarket for food to take back. Maiori is a bit further (10-15 mins) but has a much bigger beach and larger choice of shops. The apartment was huge, beds very comfortable and immaculately clean. Tv and aircon were great, and good pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water for four people. Simona made us very welcome and helped with a lot of transport arrangements prior to the trip and during our stay was very helpful with excursions and advice on what to see and do. Simone invited us to the family restaurant and the food was delicious - house wine was excellent too! Couldn't have asked for more! We had a fantastic trip. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the "house" was fantastic. Secluded, private and quaint. Perfect for us. The location was ideal - a short short walk to Minori for breakfast and a very short drive to Amalfi where it was amazing to see and eat. I highly recommend the affiliated restaurant - Trattoria da Barracca. The food there was amazing and all athentic Italian family restaurant food. All in all, I love the place.

The apartment was lovely and the hosts were so helpful and accommodating. They came to pick us up in Amalfi when the bus didn't stop at our stop, and helped us find restaurants and other facilities. The apartment is above the winding coastal road and has a lovely view of the ocean, which all adds to its charm.

There was nothing I didn't like but I do suggest that they add a few staples to the kitchen, such as oil, tea and coffee.

The window seat overlooking the coast was a highlight and we appreciated the welcoming bottle of local wine! Simona and Simone the two charming managers flagged down our bus, which stopped right outside the front door. Even though this is a fully self-catering holiday house, the managers were an invaluable source of local information, and were available at any time we needed anything. The town centre of Minori is a 10 minute walk away and has fresh foods and basic groceries, along with resataurants and cafes. MCH was spacious but cosy, with a small bathroom, and suited us so much we extended our stay there. We hope we can return soon.

We had to leave due to ongoing holiday plans - but we will be back!

Beautiful aparment, has every thing you need, including a lovely view. Just a short walk into town.

Unfortunately the property is situated on the main road/bus route on a tight corner, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise when the window is open, but it is quiet when you close the window.

Simona and Simone are the most hospitable hosts I've ever met.Made me great pleasure to meet them.I was amazed by their enthusiasm and happines to have us in their charming place.I felt so welcomed...Great view...a very romantic place.....The hosts had great attention to details and made everything just perfect for a romantic stay.. The apart.was very clean ,fine linens,scented towels.. + We were greeted with lemons from their orchard.... I would always return!

Todo excelente. Simona la dueña nos atendio como si estuvieramos en casa. El departamento La Luna es muy agradable, muy bien decorado y la parada del micro justo en la puerta.Completisimo

Excelente trato por parte del personal. Ubicado en plena costa Amalfitana, en un entorno magnífico. El apartamento estaba muy limpio, y cuidado con mucho detalle. Impresionantes vistas.

El tráfico intenso que sufre la carretera de la costa, única vía de acceso, si bien esto es algo que ya teníamos en cuenta antes de viajar allí.

Bardzo przyjemny, przestronny, czysty, dobrze wyposażony apartament. Gospodyni miła, służaca pomocą. Apartament położony na granicy miasteczka Minori. Po upalnym dniu zachowujący chłodne ukojenie. śWietny naturalny obieg powietrza. Duży przestronny garaż (zmieścilismy się bez problemu), co na warunki wybrzeża Amalfi jest ewenementem.

Należy zwrócić uwagę, że apartament położony jest na niskim pierwszym piętrze. Beszpośrednio przy jednej z głównych dróg wybrzeża Amalfi, a do tego przy zakręcie. Klaksony, hałas I temperament włoskich kierowców wpisane w atrakcje apartamentu.

Appartamento molto bello e spazioso, forse troppo per 2 persone.

La porta d'entrata, cosi come il garage a filo strada e in curva. Ma tutta la costiera è cosí.

L'attenzione per I particolari: appena arrivati ci siamo accorti che lo staff aveva letto I consigli dei viaggiatori precedenti e apportato le necessarie modifiche. Per esempio: hanno fatto I lavori nel bagno, ora con un'ampia doccia e un delizioso mosaico. La cucina, fornita di tutti gli ingredienti base (olio, sale, the, zucchero..). Abbiamo gradito molto l'accoglienza e il dono di benvenuto. Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. L'appartamento è ampio e dotato di ogni confort anche per soggiorni più lunghi del nostro. Comodo il garage (che da queste parti è una sorta di tesoro) e la fermata dell'autobus proprio sotto casa. (Consigliamo a tutti l'uso dell'autobus: tempi di percorrenza e risparmio assicurati).

Henkilökunta tosi avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Näköala merelle ja huoneisto viihtyisä ja tilava. Autolle tallipaikka, mutta tienvarsisijainnista johtuen vaikea ajaa sisään ja pois.

Sa situation géographique par rapport aux villes environnantes, la grandeur de l'appartement, les personnes qui nous ont reçu Simona et Simone ont été très amical et recevant toujours la pour répondre a nos besoin surtout pour stationner la voiture car le stationnement est dans la montagne et l'entrée est très étroite alors il faut savoir bien stationner alors Simone nous a dépanné souvent. ,merci

Pour les amateurs de café il y a seulement une petite machine à expresso

A manager Simona é muito atenciosa. Ela nos enviou email dias antes da data prevista de chegada, dando todos os detalhes de como chegar ao local. Simona nos esperou na frente do prédio, para facilitar estacionar o carro. A seguir nos mostrou com detalhes todos o funcionamento do apt, bem como nos recebeu com "gentilizas" (vinho e biscoitos recem preparados). A vista é muito bonita e o local bem espaçoso e com excelente nível de limpesa.

Il soggiorno presso la struttura è stato piacevolissimo anche grazie alla simpatia e alla pronta disponibilità della gestrice.
