Golden Tulip Galilei - Pisa  

Terrible hotel rooms smelt carpet was really dirty, would never stay again and would certainly not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful but the quality of the rooms was really poor this hotel needs to have a revamp or tell guests and lower its prices.

The staff was very helpful. Even though the hotel is located in an area not connected by public transport like buses, the hotel provide frequent shuttle services and free pick ups and drops. The breakfast menu is one of the best available in hotels in Italy. The rooms were neat and clean and well maintained.

The choice of restaraunts is very very limited...

Staff was helpful in getting into Pisa and returning to the hotel. They also had a taxi at the hotel for our short-early trip to the airport.

You either ate in the hotel's restaurant or the very limited snack bar. No real choice for us. However the young man working in the snack bar was super. The A/C did not work and when I reported it they sent a man to check it out. Her re-set the breakers and said to "wait 5 minutes". It never did work. Just glad it was not really hot!

This is a large busy hotel. It is clean and very tidy, everything works and works well. The staff are super, friendly, helpful, and take time to ensure that you are made to feel very welcome. The dining room is clean and bright the food excellent and good value. The small outdoor patio is just the jopb for an evening meal and a botle of wine. This is the second time I have stayed here, will stay again.

We had an early flight so the fact that the Hotel is just 5 minutes away from the airport was an asset.

We are impressed with the shuttle bus facility from city trips to pisa airport, I'm in a single double room my brother & his wife in a separate double room very comfortable, buffet breakfat was so excellent choice of hot & cold beakfast, we shall come back again,the receptionist are very helpful like Sarah & Gabriel, Its worth recommending to all my friends going to Pisa & more power & success to all of you. We had been vacationing in Lucca, and we needed to stay overnight in order to catch a morning plane to London.

The room had a very strong odor that was very objectionable and made us feel sick.

Comfortable and clean rooms and useful shuttle service

The evening meal was dry and salty and not good value for money. Most staff were polite and helpful, but one or two seemed curt and unfriendly.

Vicinity to the airport. Wake-up call and booking of taxi were most efficient.

I found the restaurant very disappointing, both as regards the selection of dishes available and the end product itself (in my particular case, pasta). The food would probably be better at even the simplest corner trattoria.
