Hotel Napoléon    

Location of hotel to lucca walls was very good.

Breakfast could have been more varied, no hot options. Room was very noisy due to traffic so difficult to sleep.

We were told we would have air condition,too early in the season not turned in yet. Had to sleep with window open. Well room is on four lane busy street loud all night long. Beds way too hard. Had to be moved as toilet would not stop running, lost our balcony

Nice location, easy parking lot, good wireless connection. Clean rooms.

There are stairs quite inconvenient to access the hotel with luggage. There is no bypass. Even inside the hotel there ara some steps that hamper the movement. The water was not hot enough for a good shower (both days we stayed in the hotel)

Distance from old city of Lucca was great. Staff brilliant - so helpful. Room was very good. Breakfast great.

Napoléon is a modern hotel just outside the city walls, with two or three excellent restaurants close by. Parking (and using) a car in Lucca is a nightmare, so a stay at the Napoléon is convenient for walking to the cathedral and other interesting spots in the city. Also, the hotel is very reasonably priced.

The hotel is outside of the historic centre, but it is not a long way with the free bikes that hotel offer. Nice breakfast and personal in the breakfast and at the reception.

The hotel doen't look very nice. The keys of the room wery big and you had to use the key for locking the door.

The elevator was out of the order for a period of 12 hours and the issue created Problems for my wife suffering of asthma.Of course things occurs but in other Hotels such a problem is solved immediately doesn't, Metternich wek days or or week end

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We spent most of the following day in Lucca and it took only 5 minutes to drive to the town.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to the city centre so walkable in ten minutes.

No information about Lucca or the hotel itself in the room, the breakfast wasn't very good but edible.

Hotel easily accessed from Firenze. Hotel very clean and breakfast very adequate. Staff at the reception desk friendly and extremely helpful. She took the time to provide directions to the Lucca old city and also an alternative direction (not the A11) to Pisa.

Wi Fi for our IPad did not work in the room but worked in the lobby.

Every single staff member was helpful, friendly and good at their job. The room was very comfortable, well air-conditioned and the breakfast was fantastic. All amazing value for the deal I got through Booking.Com.

A bit of a walk from the City centre along a noisy, busy road. Taxis or buses probably a necessity fro most.

This was not a 4 -star hotel- dust, synthetic carpeting in room, not functioning air-conditioner, very poorly insulated windows, noise from traffic and the night club in neighbourhood open all night

Easy access from the motorway, easy 10 minute walk into historic centre of Lucca. Excellent staff on reception - friendly and helpful. Good parking - we reserved an individual lockable garage for our car but there was also plenty of outside parking.

The hotel is listed as a 4-star - but I don't understand why - we have stayed in better 2 star hotels. The decor/furnishing is very tired and in need of a complete renovation,. The room was ok, but everything looked a bit grubby and there was mould in the bathroom.

room was what we needed after a long day in Pisa. Three person room was large and the beds were soft.

The hotel was well located with easy facility for trsavelling and large parking place, situated at about 15 min walking from the city walls. The people staff in the hotel were very friendly and doing their best to make our stay confortable. The breakfest was very good and in a pleasant location. Folloving the hotel advice we ate also in a nice typical restaurant in Lucca, Rouseau el douganiere.

I was very surprised when I first saw the inside of this bright pink hotel. My room was so beautiful and modern...like a very upscale Ikea. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was the best I've had during my visit throughout Italy. Also, the location into Lucca was superb! The walk took about ten minutes and made my shopping and sight-seeing experience convenient. I also used Lucca as a base for my travel to the Cinque Terre. Although it's about an hour drive, it was a beautiful and easy route and allowed a full day of hiking the cliffs and relaxing back in the city of Lucca in the evening.

The lady on reception was nice. I could not recommend a hotel based on just that.

This hotel would struggle to be a 3 star hotel. Our bathroom was not clean, the whole place was run down and had an unpleasant atmosphere. I'm sure there are plenty of better options available in the vicinity.
