Hotel Napoleon is spacious and well-maintained 19th-century building set directly in front of a Metro stop and only a short walk from Rome’s Termini train station. Convenient for getting around the city, many tourist attractions can also be reached by foot from the Napoleon. The Colosseum is just a pleasant 15 minute walk away and shopping areas are even closer. Evening entertainment is also just a short walk from the hotel. The bright and elegant rooms and common areas at the Napoleon are quiet and peaceful as the hotel is set back from the traffic. In both you will find free Wi-Fi access and the lounge is also home to a free internet point. Enjoy a light lunch at the hotel bar or return to the Napoleon’s restaurant for dinner, where you can taste delicious Italian specialties teamed with fine wines. At breakfast a large American-style buffet is served, accompanied by great Italian coffee. Hotel Rooms: 75 The most recent booking for this hotel was made on May 24 at 09:32 from Italy.

It was perfect for what I wanted and had a fabulous lounge area and bar/restaurant. There was a bottle of coke on the balcony stuffed with cigarette ends.

The group enjoyed the stay very much from the staff to the comfort of the hotel. We could ask if there was a problem and was sorted for us. Only problem we wanted to eat in the hotel on the Tuesday but couldn't as it was closed. The menu board did not state this. But it not become a problem as plenty of places to eat nearby.

1. Exellent location, 20 min walk to Coliseum, Capitolium or Spanish stairs, 50 min walk to Vatican. Close to Termini station, so it's easy to get anywhere near Rome 2. Very good breakfast (vegetables, fruits, mozarella, serials etc.) Wonderful espresso and capucchino, but you have to ask it precisely, if you say just "coffee", you'll get something like instant neskafe. 3. Very helpful and friendly staff 4. Comfortable rooms with heating, good wi-fi 5. A basket with umbrellas near the door, guests can take them if it's raining. I 'll definitely stay here next time if I happen to go to Rome again.

First of all the staff made us feel like we were at home. Our room was very confortable, clean and had almost new furniture. Having Wi-Fi in the room enabled us to talk home free. The continental breakfast was good enough. Having a subway station a few steps from the entrance let us reach most of the monuments of Rome quickly. I've recomended Hotel Napoleon to my family.

The staff is very helpful and the rooms are of a decent size with very clean bathrooms. Breakfast was very adequate with hot items too. Hotel is very central and with an underground station just outside the hotel offer a quick link to most key areas in rome. The hotel is very good value for money Not much is negative about this hotel but two main issues which could be improved are the ventilation in the room as the balcony door did not have protection against insects if left open to allow ventilation. Otherwise there are no air vents to assist ventilation. The bar is not open after midnight and could not have the facility to make tea or coffee after the bar was closed. Finally the ironing facility is primitive and can only be done in a room without an iron board but on a table.

We were on a pre-cruise one night stay before boarding our ship. Convenient for the Rome metro and only 1 stop from Main Railways station (Termini) which connects the airport and the cruise port of Civitavecchia. Hotel is within walking distance of main station if you have a map. There are restaurants and bars close by and it is a pleasant 10/15 walk to the Colisseum. Rooms were comfortable and the buffet breakfast was good (for Italy). Reception was helpful and tourist information is available from the hotel lobby. Its not very clear which exit to take out of the metro. Maybe the hotel description could indicate this.

the room was great as was the service very clean Upon check in the man at the front desk was abrupt & not pleasant (I had a feeling he was simply filling in for a break as when I mentioned the annoyance to my husband he went to the desk & was greeted by another & very helpful gentleman and this great service was experienced the rest of the stay. The restuarant food was not good & the service was slow

Extremely friendly and helpful attitude of all staff at the front desk. Free wi-fi with no complications with access codes and passwords. Good TV and program selection. Excellent scrambled eggs and espresso coffee at breakfast. Located right beside Vittorio Emanuele Metro station. Good restaurants within walking distance. Free wine tasting event was very agreeable. Free bottle of Prosecco to recognize that we had spent our honeymoon in Napoleon 40 years before was a very acceptable gesture. Variety of breakfast food not comparable with best hotels. Some decor seemed very old and showed signs of wear. Lift system was rather slow.

Chose the hotel because it was close to the metro and shopping. Close to the Colosseum with some restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Pictures of the hotel would lead one to believe it was rather upscale, at least 3 stars - not hardly. Area is rather seedy, mostly tourists and foreign vendors hawking on the sidewalks or running the shops. I did not want to go out at night. On check in, had to wait for two tourists to book their bus tour. Room was in the back (again). Wall unit a/c. Went to the bar (7pm) to get something to eat. No one working and one cheap guy smacking his food so loud I could not stand to sit in the same room. A guest was picking at the piano after 10pm - loud - I could hear it in my room. Breakfast was horrid. Cold scrambled eggs and some greasy meat - sausage, bacon, and something else (I did not try it). Had to ask twice for coffee (request only). Fruit and cereal with some dry, day-old pastries. Staff seemed to completely ignore customers.

Great location next to Vittorio Emanuele metro station. Only one station from the main train station, Roma Termini. Great Breakfast. I like their pastry and juice a lot. Friendly staffs but not all of them. Our room was nice. One of the staffs were not friendly, and that might be because we are Asian. They looked to us in a kind of strange way. A little too small bathroom.

Location. We walked from train station about a 15 minute walk. We walked to the Coliseum in about 15 minutes. You can take the subway to many stops by walking out the front door and within a few minutes be at the stop. Very close and cheap. The staff was very helpful about how to get to places with easy. Very small bathrooms but it is common in Europe. Not much of a very from our window. You have to switch elevators to go above 3 floor I think.
