Superior location and very close to train station. Staff was helpful and fast wi-fi. Breakfast was nice as well. This was our second stay here and we highly recommend it. We would definitely book again!
Bedding could be updated as it wasn't very comfortable as other hotels.
Describe staff, exceptional, curteous, helpful, professional. The owner was most charming.
The beds were too hard.
This was our 2nd stay a few years apart, again we were very happy with the service and the friendly staff. For us it is well located being close to the Termi and ancient Rome. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of fruit for the days snacks. This time we used the onsite bar for evening refreshments. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay. See you next time.
Superb location and very accommodating staff! Breakfast selections were great and fast wifi, too.
Bedding could be improved.
Staff where very nice and helpful. the receptionists where great!!! The place is really clean and tidy. Everyone there is so willing to make the stay comfortable.
We had 2 meals at the hotel and breakfast every morning. Both meals were terrible. Dinner one night, the meals came and they were all cold and one of the dishes was literally inedible and had to get set back. the second meal was the new year gala. expensive! 220 euro later for 4 we were so disappointed that we just left before the new year actually changed over! I paid for the stay the first day there, and asked if all was included or if i would have to pay anything else. they said we were settled. upon checkout i was told i had an extra 120 euro for service charges. it was a nasty surprise. the hotel's location is in a very downgraded area and didn't feel safe to walk out at night.
Nice room...located literally in front of the metro A line. The front desk and concierge were always very helpful. I didnt have my luggage from the airport upon arrival and they were nice enough to keep check/look out for me. Dominiceo, the asst manager, was great. I had emailed prior to arriving with a couple of questions and he was more than accomodating. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.
Breakfast: wasnt the best. It was cold each morning, although the eggs and meat selection was in a warmer, so not sure what that was about. The second day I had breakfast, the staff (2 women) was too busy engaged in personal conversation that they didn't acknowledge I was even there. No greeting when I walked in OR after the fact when I was seated, and they just looked and kept on as if i wasn't there.
The location was great - there is a metro station nex-t to the hotel (Vittorio Emanuel) & it is only one stop to Termini. I was here for a Champions League game so location was important and as a single female felt very safe even at night. Loved the room, breakfast & feel of the place.
Just a small thing - I would have liked Italian music playing at breakfast rather than British pop: It didn't "fit".
Helpful friendly staff. Breakfast available with room rate.
Everything, all the staff were excellent, it is the best 4* hotel and the quietest that I have ever stayed in.
All the staff were more than professional - extremely efficient, helpful and pleasant at all times. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.
Location - walking distance to attractions Metro located outside front door
Rooms need an update - tired & worn Small bathroom Organised an early breakfast - Tour day: never arrived.
excellent service, clean, good breakfast, good location, free wifi
The staff were very friendly and helpful . Near to metro station . Located close to some historical sites .
The hotel is old but renovated . The room for 1 person was small . There are some homeless near the metro station close to the hotel , but the area is safe .
Polite and helpful staff. Clean, crisp and quiet room that even had a balcony. Great selection at the breakfast buffet. Classic Italian comfort and surroundings. Brilliant value and good location. I will definitely come back ; )
I enoyed the location and the staff knowlege of the area. I had specific dietary requirements this was met by Alberto's knowlege and experience which mad emy stay memorable
nothing would go back again
Close to center, clean, fine breakfast and nice stuff
Small rooms, poor wifi. Part of the town where hotel is located is not so nice, esspecially in the night
very quiet, very friendly stuff. located just in front of a metro station, very clean
the bed was very uncomfortable and the view was boaring
Very nice breakfast, polite staff and good room!
The view of the room
Great location - very central with the metro entrance right on the door step but quiet (the only thing we heard on a Sunday morning was the sound of church bells from the nearby Santa Maria Maggiore - very charming!), friendly and helpful people (I can't praise Roberto enough - he's marvelous!), clean and comfi rooms with good air conditioning and wifi connection, lots of excellent casual restaurants and cafes around. And it's got a lift which was important for my elderly mum. We all enjoyed it tremendously and will certainly go back.
The staff were superb - the most helpful ever encountered.
The building is old and could do with some repairs in parts. The location while central and served by metro is not the best part of town.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - free wine tastings were an unexpected pleasure. Metro out the front of the hotel and convenient to tourist sites , even walking!
location breakfast comfortable bed WI-Fi and TV
Staff very friendly and professional; helped us with tour reservations. Breakfast was great.
A/C could have been a bit cooler.
Staff really helpful, friendly and their knowledge of the city really helped our tourist days and made them more enjoyable. The information they gave . They booked things for you too, some of which you could pay on your final bill. The size of the room was good too with siting room as well as bedroom however you did pay an extra €25 per night for that facility. Everything you needed in the room was there. The lounge area was really nice, beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and inviting.
Breakfast was average and not in my opinion 4 star. Overall could have been a level higher in quality. Cakes good. Bread OK but no brown choice. Fruit and yogurt appeared to be the cheapest possible. Cooked breakfast was greasy. Sausage nice but bacon and egg not really edible. Shower in bath needed a safety mat. It is possible someone could slip over whilst taking a shower.
