In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

Beers not cold enough Shower cubicle had a leak.
Location Metro right out the door Nice and helpful staff Good breakfast Lots of restaurants nearby
Ugly neighborhood Wifi slow
Loved the staff , the breakfast and the comfort of the rooms and the entire hotel
Excellent customer service.
Not very clean outside hotel street area. A few homeless people asking for money.
The staff made the place what it is. They were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient, could cover many languages. Their response to any requests was very rapid. Food and drink was excellent and great value.
Stairs and no outside area but these are minor issues
I did not "want" for anything at this lovely and grand family hotel. Many staff have been here for 20+ years and their happy photos appear in the elevator! A complimentary happy hour in the bar was offered on both Friday and Monday evenings with staff attending. An extensive breakfast was offered in a lovely morning room with meats, eggs, fresh produce, baked goods and more included in our rate. The concierge and front desk were very professional and helpful. The location was wonderful to walk 10 minutes to the Coliseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum and an easy 3 block walk to the main train station plus a subway station entrance very close to the front door.
This neighbor hood can change some from block to block. Although it has the convenience of the Vittorio Emanuele park directly across the street (we viewed an evening movie in Italian there for 5euro which we felt safe attending) we were saddened by the homeless people that are in the park and on the street, moving from place to place.
The hotel itself is really nice, rooms are well looked after, and decor is really beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The entrance to the metro station is directly outside the hotel door and the colosseum and bars and restaurants are within walking distance.
The area around the hotel can be quite lonely at night with very few people around and would not b safe for walking in at night unless you have a group of people. Returning to hotel at night you would be safer to get a taxi. However during the day the area is safe enough as there are a lot of people around.
gene rely,it was ok.
Great location, easily accessible to all of the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice.
Area was a little run dow but we often walked back late a night and never felt unsafe.
Hotel location was convenient as per near to Porto Termini, City Center, Metro and lots of restaurants including Halal dinners. But outside entrance was extremely filthy and scary. Reception staff was pleasant and helpful from the very first moment we stepped in. Hotel was constructed almost 50 years ago but well preserved with its old fashioned décor. Not recommended for travelers who use expect modern luxuries & construction. Room was small and had conservative facilities. Breakfast was well menued. Fair value for the money spent.
Good location next to the metro station.the staff were really helpful in everything
Location, staff, professional handeling of guests' concerns. Breakfast and reception staff.
Hotel with historical luxury Big rooms Comfortable lounge Tasteful breakfast
Bad location Entrance of hotel not so good as interior
Staff extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast offered something for everyone and was very good. Good location with access to the underground within 15 metres of the entrance. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Great location, short walk from the train station and short walk to the coliseum. Staff was very friendly and helpful
rooms were comfortable. breakfast was good with a good selection to cater for all tastebuds. metro was just on the doorstep. concierge very helpful. owner very thoughtful
Staff welcomed us and were happy to give us city touring ideas. Hotel worked well for us. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Room was quiet and we slept well adjusting to the time change. Front desk recommended restaurants in the area that we also enjoyed. We would stay here again.
The hotel in big with a lovely view The pool is lovely but only open 8am-6pm which we only found out on arrival
There is a bus to and from town but its every hour, its a very long walk and a taxi is around €20 The staff are unbelieveable nude not helpful at all, a women had a fit in the pool on my last day and after screaming for help from the staff to get her out the pool they took a good 5 mins to come over at this point she had stopped fitting and all the staff did was ask what was wrong and phone an ambulance, the manage came over looking very cross he was very nude to the poor women The room had hair all over the floor when we arrived The pool is only open 8am-6pm so if you have had a long day and need to cool off the pool will be closed
friendly, helpful staff
area immediately around the hotel park opposite is a drunks' hangout
Convenient location in pleasant environment not far from railway station and walking distance from Colosseum. Spacious and comfortable common area - perfect for watching Germany-Brazil football match. Small pleasant retaurant.
We specifically asked for three separate beds when booking but got one single and one queen size.
For us the location was fine - near underground stop and sightseeing bus stop. Room smart.
Wrong end of town? No breakfast included or dinner available. Parking quite expensive at 20 Euros per day, facility behind the hotel.
Was treated so well that I felt like the staff thought we were related to the owner. Location was very convenient. When you get off the subway just keep walking to the left and you exit in front of the hotel front door. The hotel restaurant had very good food and the morning buffet was well stocked. A/C worked very well. Would recommend to friends and would stay there again.
TV reception, but we didn't have much time to watch TV.
The hotel is close to the train station... A short taxi ride(beware of the taxi scams .. It should only be12 to 15 euro in a white official taxi at the taxi stand). The best part is you literally walk out of the hotel to the Metro for getting to all the sites. The staff at the desk were amazingly helpful.. The resturant Romantica was down the street and the food was great.. We met the family owners at a wine reception that they have twice a week, even the latest generation a baby in the arms of his mom... Breakfast was an extensive buffet
The hotel is not in a fancy tourist area but it is right outside the metro
Cleanliness friendly staff helpful staff
At breakfast one morning we saw a waitress put the contents of a bowl of fruit cocktail from a table back into the serving bowl, it was most off putting.
