Score from 493 reviews Very good
the breakfast quiet neighbourhood
wi-fi available only on the hotel reception the lift was really old
Very nice staff, excellent location, clean rooms. Small and cozy hotel!
It's close to action in Rome. We did have problems but the staff were very helpful.
Close to important tourist destinations.
Fourth floor location
Location was good, close to the train station. Rooms were small, but it is Europe. Clean with nice breakfast.
Some staff not very friendly
The room was nice and comfortable.
The shower was horrible and way too small. I know European bathrooms are already small but this was even smaller than others I've used. The air conditioning was set to a certain temperature and it was just too hot in the room. The breakfast wasn't the greatest either.
We really appreciate the hotel, the staff, the price, etc. Liked the location. Felt safe & secure! Pretty cool being above a church and another hotel. Thanks for everything! :)
breakfast very good
Reasonably close to main train station and connection to airport. Very helpful staff.
Wondered why no English TV channel (It does call it self "Americana") Rate would have been less if I had not used Booking.COM
Great location, decent facilities, helpful staff! We stayed for one night only, but I would gladly stay longer during my next visit to Rome.
It was very cold in our room during the day, however they did turn up the heating after we complained and it was better.
The fact that it's near the railway station but not one of the railway station hotels. It's hidden away, very quiet and has a fantastic elevator and outside sitting space. The staff is friendly, funny and genuinely nice. Also there is a solo rehearsal hall on the ground floor, so where else can you hear excellent live opera arias while having coffee "at home" on the altana? You try sitting way up high on a deck in Rome listening to "Vissi D'arte". That alone was worth the price. And if the government of Paraguay declares war on Italy, both the defense ministry and the Paraguay Embassy are right there. You couldn't be safer! It's on the Quiurnal, which is all government, so it's quiet at night. But close to everything.
That I had to leave.
Breakfast upgrade could give an a!!! To the hotel.
Hotel Nardizzi was a great stay.... very clean and comfortable, good location in easy walking distance of sites and transportation, safe location, helpful staff, good breakfast. Special recommendation for Giancarlo at the front desk who was very helpful, accomodating, and dignified. We would recommend Nardizzi whole heartily.
Room was on noisy street
Nice setting for the breakfast room. Good selection at breakfast
Small cramped room. Not sure if all the rooms were like that or was it because it was a room reservation through booking.com
tiny room, miniature shower ( I mean 20 inches wide-----I measured it!) Room was on ground floor with the main hotel 5 floors up.
Convenient location; clean; accommodating staff; reasonably priced
bathrooms are very tiny
Location. Great value for money considering location. 24h reception. Very charming terrasse in inner courtyard where breakfast is served. View on this terrasse from the room. Friendly atmosphere in common areas, where guest can sit and have a glass of wine, very relaxed and homy.
Some bad oders in the room coming from humidity in the closet. Shower not great. Breakfast not great (no fresh pastries, coffee+fake orange juice from machine.)
I have stayed at this hotel many times. I love its location: close enough to the train station to walk with your luggage, a safe feeling neighborhood, an easy walk to The Fountain of Trevi, the Spanish Steps, and the Borghessi Gardens. Their rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff is on duty all night long and is very helpful in getting you in a taxi and to the airport for a 6 am flight.
WiFi does not work in some of the rooms, though it works in the lobby.
location and price
no tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Hotel was on the 4th floor with a terreace/balcony to sit outside. It was really close to all sights or shopping area, but still quiet.
Our room was quite small and sometimes smelt a little bit strange. The breadfast ended at 9:30 AM and on check out day we had to leave the room until 10:30 AM.
The staff wasn't very friendly.
Walking distance to underground and local attractions.
Staff at times weren't very helpful. The li is very old and the reception is on level 4, which was hard to find.
Good location for use of public transport, but also within easy walking distance of most attractions. Good value for money, friendly staff and kept very clean.
Bearing in mind the rates for this hotel, there was nothing to complain about.
We did a 2 week trip and visited 3 different European country's on our holiday. This was by far the worst hotel on our travels. Booking in took ages. After finally getting into the room, the bathroom floor had long black hair from the previous occupier of the room lying everywhere. My wife discovered some of the same hair on the bed as well. When we reported this to reception the next morning the manager was very attentive to the matter, but it was a very unpleasant experience. The staff on reception was ALWAYS on the phone, and it it seemed like personal calls seeing that it was mobile phones, laughing and joking away whilst customers are waiting to be attended to. Breakfast was poor to say the least. No variety, no choice. It was very disappointing.
