Score from 183 reviews Good
Nice rooms Old fashioned lift Great value for money
Small choice for breakfast. Noisy street.
Only one chair in the room for two Only sweet breakfast (bread roll, croasan, honey, jam), not good coffee One arrogant receptionist, welcoming others
location to places i wanted to see
Wifi was only available in the common area near the front desk.
Staff was very helpful to us despite the fact we didn't know Italian. Informative which helped immensely trying to maneuver rome. Would definitely stay again
It's beyond their control, but the noise from the traffic disturbed our sleep while having window open for fresh air.
Breakfast was a joke. Cold pastries and not much else. Recommended by Rick Steve's several years ago. But has totally gone downhill, almost shabby.
Excellent location- close to the metro line republica. Lots of restaurants and we discovered a little market close by too.
The ensuit was dated and was dirty. Cracked tiles. With the hotel being on the 4th floor, we was reliant on the old fashioned lift. If guests failed to shut the door of the lift properly then it would not work. A big issue if you are on the ground floor and the lift is stuck on the 4th floor! Walking up to the forth floor with luggage was not easy! Wifi not available in rooms.
Great location- we walked from the train station. Some nice restaurants close by. Price was great, room spotless, & bed very comfortable.
Good breakfast, good selection. Good sized room, comfy bed. Brilliant staff, very helpful giving us recommendations for places for dinner. Good location, within walking distance of Roma termini and roughly 30 mins walk to main attractions.
There was a problem with the bathroom for a couple of days in our room, a very bad sewage smell which appeared overnight. However the staff were very quick to give us access to another room to use the bathroom and offered to change rooms, however we preferred our room so chose to stay there. This incident did not change our positive opinion of this hotel as the staff dealt with it effectively and in a very nice manner.
Location is excellent + very friendly staff
No Wi-Fi in the room. Bathroom could be more cleaner.
The staff were hospitable and polite.
Budget friendly Good location - walking distance to a lot of sights Friendly & helpful staff
Aircon leaked heaps Wifi not available in rooms you must be sitting in foyer area
Location, cleanliness, friendly staff and manager. Very helpful.
the breakfast quiet neighbourhood
wi-fi available only on the hotel reception the lift was really old
Very nice staff, excellent location, clean rooms. Small and cozy hotel!
It's close to action in Rome. We did have problems but the staff were very helpful.
Close to important tourist destinations.
Fourth floor location
Location was good, close to the train station. Rooms were small, but it is Europe. Clean with nice breakfast.
Some staff not very friendly
The room was nice and comfortable.
The shower was horrible and way too small. I know European bathrooms are already small but this was even smaller than others I've used. The air conditioning was set to a certain temperature and it was just too hot in the room. The breakfast wasn't the greatest either.
We really appreciate the hotel, the staff, the price, etc. Liked the location. Felt safe & secure! Pretty cool being above a church and another hotel. Thanks for everything! :)
breakfast very good
Reasonably close to main train station and connection to airport. Very helpful staff.
Wondered why no English TV channel (It does call it self "Americana") Rate would have been less if I had not used Booking.COM
Great location, decent facilities, helpful staff! We stayed for one night only, but I would gladly stay longer during my next visit to Rome.
It was very cold in our room during the day, however they did turn up the heating after we complained and it was better.
The fact that it's near the railway station but not one of the railway station hotels. It's hidden away, very quiet and has a fantastic elevator and outside sitting space. The staff is friendly, funny and genuinely nice. Also there is a solo rehearsal hall on the ground floor, so where else can you hear excellent live opera arias while having coffee "at home" on the altana? You try sitting way up high on a deck in Rome listening to "Vissi D'arte". That alone was worth the price. And if the government of Paraguay declares war on Italy, both the defense ministry and the Paraguay Embassy are right there. You couldn't be safer! It's on the Quiurnal, which is all government, so it's quiet at night. But close to everything.
That I had to leave.
