Cheapness.

A bit dirty. Breakfast is rather poor. Room was very small.

Crapy wifi internet. Charging 8 euros for 24 h of wifi and half of that time not working. A decent wifi router booster costs 40 euros for gods sake!

In most hotels staff are sometimes friendly, sometimes a bit less - depending who or when... But during my stay at Hotel Nasco, every staff member was extremely friendly and very helpfull. Every request was executed immediately, and with a smile. They really are an example for other hotels. Well done!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were modern and comfortable.

The lack of free, reliable wifi in the rooms is very annoying when travelling on business. The electrical sockets in the rooms were an old design and did not fit my standard European / UK adaptor and I had to rely on the adaptor being used by the hotel to plug in the television. The bar is also very small and right in the reception, so not perfect for a quiet drink.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, value for money. Hotel is situated not far from city-centre. Tram tickets you can buy at the reception.

Good location, 10-15 min from the city centre with the nice, old fashioned tram No.1. The hotel staff can speak english well, breakfast is tasty, rooms are clean.

It suited our requirements.

Some of the fruit in the fruit salad was fizzy. As if some was not as fresh as the rest.

The evening meals could have been of a better quality & variety, although the restaurant was very short on customers.

Although we had to pay additional for the breakfast it was convenient to have on-site as there wasn't much else nearby. Selection of food was pretty good and included cooked eggs and bacon. The one staff member we dealt with when we checked in was very friendly and accomodating. She even showed us an upgraded room and allowed us time to decide which one we would take then gave us a good rate on the difference between the two.

The location is not near the city center. Parking is additional and rather steep at 20euros a day. Otherwise you can park along the street in front of the hotel if you're lucky enough to find an empty space that's not reserved for locals or businesses. The trolley/tram runs right in front of the hotel, which is convenient but also rather noisy at night. The photos hotel Nasco uses of their rooms on booking.com are of their suites and not the standard rooms, which we were rather deflated to see upon checking in. We opted to pay the upgrade and stay in a Jr. suite which was much more modern and pleasant, however we felt this was somewhat false advertising on their part. Although they advertise free wi-fi it only is for one hour a day per room and only for one device.

Restaurant opens till late with average prices (risotto €8, meat €14) and friendly staff.

For a 4-stars hotel, breakfast should have a wider variety of products.

The room service and clean hotel were nice.

The reception staff were not so friendly. The ones who did not speak English would just ignore you at the reception desk with not even saying 'hello" or "I don't speak English, one moment please"

Close to tram stop though should know a bit more about where the tram stops for the tourist points of interest eg Castle and Duomo. Air conditioning was great, restaurant (with great menu) we used and huge selection at breakfast time. By getting the tram it was reasonably central to everything we wanted.

I like the location of the hotel - as it's closed to town centre with trams near by to go to Duomo and Cathedral.

The air condition in my room was not working properly - so warm and that should apply to **** hotel and the staff didn't change the room for us.

If you are travelling by car you can find free parking in front of the hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Tram stop is 100 meters away from hotel that will take you to Duomo in less than 15 minutes. excellent breakfast. nearby restaurants that are very reasonably priced.

The only thing is that the air conditioning was not too cold, but was just ok.

Ottimo hotel. Camere spaziose, bagno comodo. Personale accogliente ed ottimi servizi. Ottima posizione, vicino al MiCo e vicino alle fermate metro e dei treni.

I especially liked one of the front desk clerks. I am not sure of her name( I believe it was Roberta). She was so helpful with directions, tram information,etc. she has a marvelous lilting voice, vivacious, and great smile.....she worked the day shift. Linda Clouser
