The appartment was nothing like any of the pictures. Very tired, no proper shower, wifi next to useless, no comfort to sit, happy we did not plan on using the kitchen.
Good location, they let us check in earlier.
It smelled like old and mold, cushions were ripped, there were stains on the floors, the carpets and the bedspread, ripped curtains and holes in one. There were unfinished parts in the wall and where there were cracks, they had been covered with paint. Honestly, everything was in such a condition one couldn't tell whether it was in such a miserable condition because it was at least a couple of decades old or because it was absolutely disgustingly dirty. None of the pictures of the apartment showed any of the things in the photos. All of them had been retouched to make it look new and sunny, completely the opposite of reality. The apartment was nothing like the others, shown on their page on your site in comparison. Still, they charge the same amount for them all. Agency told us they didn't have to be as described. Currently there are no pictures of out apartment available and even when there were, they were retouched. They tried charging us the whole amount. For the same money we booked immediately a four star hotel.
Location was fantastic. Walking distance to Piazza Navona and other major attractions. Apartment was very comfortable.
No access to lift if you happen to be on higher floors. We were OK on 2nd floor if you don't mind stairs.
The location to the many restaurants, shopping and the main attractions in Rome. The apartment had a balcony to sit outside for breakfast and a glass of wine in the evenings.
We would like the toaster to have worked.
Bed is dangerous for anyone getting up through the night. Narrow steps to a bed with no tables. The bed took up the entire space. Shower went from hot to cold to off. No kitchen wash cloths, dish washing liquid, garbage bags, etc. Dirty rug, apt. Not too clean.
The apartment we rented (Tre Archi) was huge, very well located and very well set up. There was plenty of space to relax after a long day of walking with a large lounge room, separate formal dining room and an eat in kitchen (if you prefer). Having a washing machine was handy as we had a long trip away. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (aged 5 and 8). Our kids shared a king size bed in one of the bedrooms; however they could have used the very comfortable sofa bed that was set up for us when we arrived if they wanted their own space. The staff were helpful and quick to answer the phone if needed. I only wish we had stayed for longer.
We are very fit and healthy; however I wouldn't recommend the Tre Archi apartment if you cannot cope with 3 flights of steep stairs.
Noise Apartment located at the third floor without elevator Darkness
This apartment was lovely. It was very clean and spacious. It had a great view, walking distance to many points of interest. It would recommend this apartment to a large family or group of six people.
The only problem was the power breaker for the apartment kept tripping and the power panel was three floors down. Even with turning off as many lights or air conditioners it would still trip off, sometimes 5 times a day!!
The location was great, and appartment felt secure.
It was far too noisy at night up until 2am... People partying (young), and cleaning machines etc..mornings were not too bad even though market was on. The apartment needs a good clean, bathrooms are terrible, need light globes which we informed agent and they did nothing, no wine glasses, chopping boards, no bread knife..no cooking pan other than a tiny one egg pan and a small filthy scratched pan.
Location of the apartment was convenient for all attractions of Rome.
Apartment was not cleaned when we arrived. Previous occupants bags were still lying around. Bedroom aircon broken - told it just happened (27/09/14) and would be fixed next day - was never fixed - no apology or explanation. Think it has been broken for some time. Decor was tired, shower scalding or freezing and drain blocked - 1 towel for 4 days.
Walking distance from basically everywhere. 3 minutes from piazza navona. An old apartment well taken care of, with almost everything you can need. A great value for our money.
A few things missing from the kitchen, mostly cleaning supplies, sugar, tea/coffie. A but noisy, you can hear everything going on in the street, but it's a small street.. 4th floor, no elevator. Be sure you can carry you luggage up and down 56 stairs.
Location was good for sightseeing.
Apartment was offered as including a furnished terrace, but had no terrace. Also offered free WiFi, which was mostly non-functioning. Apartment was dark and damp.
This wasn’t the exact same apartment that we booked we got 25 del Cancello. It was large, old, smelly and full of lots of stuff but a good location with lots of restaurants and a supermarket close by and walking distance to all that Rome has to offer.
The Wifi didn’t work at all after we were told it would be fixed as it was a connection fault after the first night when they came to fix the broken TV. Never heard back from them. The washing machine didn’t work (stopped with showing a fault) and we lost power (only our apartment) they never returned our calls/texts on the contact mobile or the office. We stayed 6 nights and there was nowhere to put the rubbish. Couldn’t cook anything in the kitchen as no room. The oven was full of stuff. It was still very hot during the night in Rome during our stay even with the windows open so very noisy till 2am. The portable aircon in the bedroom upstairs run like a truck. The bathroom was bad. We cleaned the shower from the mould prior to using it but it was putrid. Wouldn’t recommend this apartment or dealing with the apartment management (Rome as you feel - Navona Apartments). Not a good experience. But Rome is fab and a must see.
The location was the best part, but the apartement was lovely too. Spacious and clean, and good facilities in the kitchen. As it was on the third floor it was great to have elevator in the house.
The wi-fi was rather slow but could be used with patience. We actually never found out how to switch on the TV or did not find the right remote control, but we really did not mind. It would perhaps have been nice to find a radio in the apartment.
the location was great. very close to all important locations, squares, monuments.
-very poor reception of wifi in the apartment -the shower was extremely hot at times then shifting to ice cold. could not manoeuver it. -the bed sheets had stains on them. we were not sure if they were changed or not. -there were no clear directions for the use of the safe.
Excellent location right by Piazza Navona. Easy walking distance to a lot of the attractions such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and many churches. Lots of good places to eat.
Could not get wi-fi. No instructions on how to use appliances. No dish washing or laundry detergents or tea towels. Beds very hard.
Location very near to major sights with Vatican a 15 mt walk away. Lots of great restaurants around.
Noise from late night partying on the piazza tends to disturb the light sleepers
Location was perfect. The apartment was very spacious and well equipt. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen facilities were good.
Could be noisy as the bar next door was open late and empty their glass bottles late at night which you can hear.
Apartment was fine
We couldnt get in the house till 4 pm because other travellers did not make check out. We had to wait long hours to check in..
Location and having a kitchen
Location was excellent. We were able to visit many Rome attractions without the need to seek expensive transport. Venues to eat and drink were plenty available. A fantastic apartment.
Had problems with electric jug, however managed quite well.
Convenient location.Comfy airconditioned main bedroom.Spacious.
Apartment up two flights of narrow steps. Could be difficult if mobility a problem. Wi fi didn't work. Bathroom door wouldn't shut.Noisy to sleep in living room/bedroom- street noise till late , plus ceiling fan noisy.. Many lightbulbs not working.
Bed is up in a small loft, difficult to access, you should be aware of this.
