ideal position, perfect room, breakfast and service
This was the best experience bar none! Excellent location, beautiful rooms and common areas. Our hosts were the greatest. Will recommend Navona Queen to everyone. This is a 10!!
The accommodation was in a great location within walking distance of the main attractions The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was very good especially if you were down early which we discovered only on the last day! The owners were very friendly and efficient.
At the time we were staying at the end of October 14 they were renovating the building and the first morning there was was a lot of outside noise before 8am which disturbed us. However, the owners must have talked to the workmen because it was okay the rest of our stay. I would recommend you book a room at the back of the building though as our room overlooked a main road which was quite busy.
Everything was perfect. The owner is very helpful and kind, perfect location, 5 min. walk to piazza Navona, 15 min. walk to Vatican. The breakfast was also wonderful and my daughter was looking for it every morning.
Excellent hotel not far from everything and a few minutes walk from Piazza Navona. Excellent staff taking care of business family style. Very nice interior, rooms are clean and in good condition. Washroom was very nice. Great selection for breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
A little bit hard to find. There was construction work going on in the adjacent floors. But nothing that the hotel can be blamed for.
The hosts were wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, large room, clean bathroom.
The walls were very thin and we could hear a baby crying waking us up often. The first day we were there, our top blanket had a very disturbing stain on it.
Absolutely everything. The location, the suite, furniture, the bathroom... A hidden gem
The wifi was not the greatest, possibly because I was on the top floor.
I travel a great deal for work and have stayed in some very good hotels. However; the rooms, and in fact the entire hotel property, was the cleanest I have ever seen. The staff was friendly and very helpful, with a good sense of humour. And the best part.....excellent coffee in the morning!
A little bit noisy from the street below at certain times, but certainly not enough to keep me from coming back.
The ambience and the staff who were very helpful in every respect.
The scaffolding in the entrance, although I accept all buildings of this age need repairs
Close to major attractions Great restaurant directly across busy rd
Views obscured from apartment With scaffolding No arrival drink Breakfast average
Great location, stylish set up, very good continental breakfast. Good room (11) with great bathroom, Sky TV and excellent Wi fi. Anita and her family are excellent hosts. Would definitely return and recommend.
Not a criticism but tea and coffee making facilities would be good in the rooms. Also proper glasses for breakfast juices please!
Everything about Navona Queen gives a sense of quality. The owners are exceptionally welcoming, helpful and genuinely nice people. My whole stay with them was a pleasure and I recommend them highly. Navona Queen is very central and convenient for Rome's many attractions and good restaurants
I would have liked tea making facilities in the evening but this is not a complaint, only a suggestion.
Nice room not too far from anything. Staff was very helpful and nice. The room was quiet even if we were on the street. A 30 minute walk to the Colosseum and a 10 minute walk to the Vatican.
WiFi only available in one little area.
Comfortable stay, very close to S. Angel's castle about 5 minutes walk and 10-15 minutes walk to Vatican, with bus routes go to city centre in about10 minutes. Host very kind and helpful with directions to eat etc. Good breakfast with juices, varieties of croissant, cakes, fruit bowl and cold meat and cheese. Clean bright rooms, cute hallway. Would recommend for sure.
Nothing really, might be a little bit not sound proof but not a big issue at all.
Everything is within walking distance. Good breakfast.
Room is very good. Location is okay.
Staff can be more helpful.
Ideal Location Friendly Staff Variety of breakfast options Greeted by a cappuccino each morning Modern bathroom Safe
Wanted a true Italian B&B and we got it. Owners Anita and Marcelo were lovely. Comfortable, clean, continental breakfast very good, quaint... Loved!
Not a thing!
Location makes it easy to get to main sites like Vatican Piazza Navona Forum. Always helpful staff
I was in Rome for the fifth time and B&B Navona Queen was my best experience: perfect location, clean room, good breakfast. The hosts are very nice people. When I come to Rome next time, I will be happy to stay there again.
I liked everything
Everything is new, high quality with good taste and very clean. It is a modern facility with the little touches of history kept in the building. The breakfast is nice and with choices of drinks, cheese, ham and fresh fruits. The owners are very attentive and welcoming the guests warmly. We are happy to find a very good place to stay whenever we go to Rome.
The location was perfect! Most main points of interest were available within walking distance (except Colosseum, Roman Forum which is 5-10 minutes bus ride). The owners of the place were very friendly and accommodating! Room was always clean, air-conditioned. The shower was amazing! The breakfast was top notch! Overall, very impressed with this place and will be recommending to most of my friends.
Very welcoming hosts who did their very best to help and gave a pleasant service. The room was clean and well looked after. A good breakfast was included in the price. The hotel was at the top of a pleasant apartment/business block within easy walking distance of the Vatican and it was quite possible to walk to other sights such as the Forum and the Coliseum.
The Wi-Fi was un-secured. The room lacked tea and coffee-making facilities, and the glasses weren't changed when the room was cleaned. The room had good air conditioning but the thermostat wasn't working properly, although this didn't render it unusable. Given the hotel is at the top of an apartment block the lack of an obvious sign made it a bit difficult to locate upon arrival. All this said, the positives far outweighed the negatives.
The B&B was run by a very lovely couple who went out of their way to make our visit to their hotel and to Rome exceptional. One day they knew we'd miss breakfast for an early morning tour so they brought coffee and espresso to our room and packed us some fruit to take with us for lunch. It felt like we were staying with family. Very sweet, caring and kind. The rooms are beautiful and large for Europe. Air conditioning was cold; loved it as Rome is hot in the summer. The beds were comfortable and they even added an extra bed in our room since I was traveling with my adult son. There was a refrigerator and they even stocked it with a few free drinks. The hotel itself is in a perfect location. 8-10 minute walk to the Vatican, maybe 5 to Plaza Navona and 15-20 to the Colosseum or Trevi Fountain. It is an old building with a lovely interior and you have to ride up a lift behind a gated door that you close. I felt like I was living there! I would definitely return to this hotel, hands down!!!
The wifi reception was a little sketchy in some locations of the room at times. But still good and they have a computer and printer if you need it too.
Wonderful location in the historical district of Rome. Perfect for walking everywhere. Close to good restaurants near Campo Di Fiori & Jewish quarter. Clean, newly renovated & quiet B&B rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice looking bathroom but it lacks shelf space for toiletries. Nice breakfasts with good coffee.
Pleasant hosts but they speak limited English & could not always understand questions asked. Even though it was stated on internet that there is tea/coffee making facilities in room, this is not available in all rooms. However on enquiring, they did loan me a kettle & cups but could not loan us another 4 cups for others in our party. No phone or alarm clock in rooms. As there is no on site reception after 5 or7PM - it is not possible to have early morning calls. Would not recommend this B & B for single females travelling on their own. Although it was safe, there is no phone in the room to call friends in the other rooms etc.
