Nice but small bar area.
Food - worst meal ever in Italy. Room tired, over bath shower dreadful!
Perfect location for using the trains to visit Pomoei and Sorrento.
Cleanliness, tired, worn out facility that needs a complete facelift. Staff was semi competent at best.
Felt very safe and secure inside hotel and away from the mayhem that is Naples. Extremely well situated, just round the corner from bus and train stations and the Piazza Garibaldi to catch Alibus to and from the Airport and Port. Lived up to its 4 stars in every way as far as were concerned from quality of room through to breakfast and friendliness of staff.
Easy to access sights in center of town - National Archaeological Museum in particular. Room was clean and comfortable.
Room would benefit from some updating.
very convenient location for travel and touring.
the 24-hour reception. The eggplant parmesan for dinner and the opera-singing waiter.
The location. It is in an area of Naples that can most charitably be described as disadvantaged. The rooms and corridors are also in need of an upgrade. Stained carpets, box-TVs, no mini-bar. Whoever thought that a vending machine 100 yards down the corridor was a viable substitute when one is thirsty in the middle of the night, needs their head examined. Bottom line: it's no longer a four-star hotel.
Location is ideal for visitors arriving by train and then using train services for day trips to pompeii sorrento etc, or metro for other parts of city. Also easy walking to places like Spaccanapoli or port/waterfront. Staff are professional and helpful, and housekeeping standards are excellent. A lot of the hotels around the station that describe themselves as mid-range are pretty scruffy when you see them close up (and some are just no-go areas !). Ramada brand makes sure you get a good standard.
Downside of location close to station is places to eat are mainly `tourist menu` type. These are quite adequate' but not for the gourmet traveller. I`d suggest a ggod breakfast at the Ramada`s pretty generous buffet, then lunch somewhere further afield while you`re out for the day
Easy for station and good taxi or bus service to airport
Chaotic and shabby area
Pleasant oasis in a scruffy area of Naples. I have stayed here before and chose it again as I was taking the train down from Rome, and the hotel is very close to the main rail station, Napoli Centrale. It's even more convenient for the Circumvesuviana line, as there is an entrance to one of its stations on the opposite side of the road to the hotel.
The immediate surroundings might put off some travellers, but are more sinister-looking than dangerous.
- The hotel situated within close proximity to the station and shops. - Room had a fridge but wasn't stocked. We used this to store our food and drinks bought from outside
- Located on the busy road and our room on the 6th floor could hear the noise - Interior is dated - No tea making facility in the room - Staff was just doing the job. Didn't offer any information to tourists. They merely answered questions.
Right across the street from circumvesuviana trains to Vesuvius, Pompeii and sorrento! Reasonably priced and comfortable.
It's not the nicest hood if you don't need easy access to trains and airport. We wanted to order takeout to our room one night and were told by staff that it wasn't possible.
Quality of the food
Noise of traffic
the location is very good.Metro station is vey convinient. In addition, the staff are friendly and nice.
We stayed several nights at the Ramada Naples to explore Naples and around. It was a very good choice. Close to all public transportation and easily accessible. The facilities are first class, and superb value for the money and the service outstanding. The staff at reception is first class - They are all very good and helpfull. Of particular notice Lucas and Valeria helped us a lot with excellent ideas to travel around etc.
Cleanliness of the surroundings. But this is Naples ! And the hotel cannot do much about it.Anyway you get used to it after a few days.
Room was adequate but be prepared ... Euros donor spend like dollars!
Wallpaper & carpet is old and worn, but the wster pressure & tubwree a rare find! Great breakfast - glad it was included!!
Staff are always smiling and they pronounce my correctly. They are very helpful. The room and bed is very comfortable.
I liked everything about the hotel. Good location, friendly staffs, quiet environment...even though around the central station...
Convenient location towards to Amalfi cost. Clean room, good breakfast.
We checked in very early the staff were great at finding a room hours before official check in time, they couldn't have been more helpful. Also when asking asking for advice on the wine wasn't pointed in the direction of the most expensive, the wine chosen was good value and great taste The staff were excellent in every respect
standard of the room
- Room was clean - Good Breakfast
- Approach to the hotel is not very clean
