close to the railway access to all area and supermarket breakfast was nice mohamad was very kind
The rooms were hot since the AC did not work, even though we payed for one. We talked to the staff, they did nothing to fix it. We could not sleep because of the heat. There were also bedbugs, which is a serious matter since this is a hotel where families stay at. This was a cheap, overpriced hotel.
Our room was ridden with fleas and ticks that appeared on day 2. My girlfriend was bitten on the first night but we thought it was a mosquito bite. We complained with evidence of the ticks and fleas we captured. We got 50 euros back only because the staff could not contact the manager and that was all they had on hand. More bites appeared on both of us during our second week in Italy. We had to seek medical attention. Tried to contact the hotel and Booking.com for a full refund but not successfull. Stay away from this "hotel".
location, good size room.
the stairs and the elevator and couldn't get wireless from the room.
We sent this e-mail to the hotel on July 5, they didn't reply. "Hey. My name is Zoltan Beretzky, I was at your hotel with my family and my friends from June 30 till July 3, in Room 304. My mother was in room 302 with her friend and my friends were in Room 306. I recognised some red spots on my hands and on my feet after the first night. I got more itchy red spots on my body from day to day and later everyone who was there with us got red spots on themselves. We arrived home on Thursday night (our luggages were left open in our house for a whole night) we went to the doctor in our city the next morning and the doctor immediately told us that our spots are from BEDBUGS!!! We got them in your hotel, you moved my mother and her friend into a different room from their original room. It means YOU KNEW about the problem but YOU DIDN'T WARN us!!! This was uncorrect from your part! You could've atleast tell us NOT to put our luggages to the beds or to the floor! After we found out the spots are from bedbugs, we checked our bags, and we saw alot of bedbugs in them, which have escaped, because we saw some bedbugs in our house too. Now we have to call an insecticide company which definitely will not be cheap. This caused mental and physical problems to us, my little daughter has been crying so much and she had to move to the other grandmother who luckily wasn't in your hotel. I can't go working because of that, I have to wait for the insecticide company, and have to clean the house. I think the least you could do is to give our money back, and the money for the insecticide company (I'm going to send the bill to you) because you totally destroyed our holiday, and if it won't happen, then we are going to report your hotel at the Italian Hotel Association.
Room is clean and u got towels. The location is good, near to many restaurants and the central station!
internet was very poor in the rooms.
Good restaurants nearby.
Hard to find - no outside sign
Location was good. Just a couple blocks from Termini train station. Also the staff spoke English well and were friendly.
The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was cheap and thin. Although the hotel was non smoking, the halls and lobby constantly stunk like cigarettes because the owner/manager smoked in the front office. Also the shower door was broken and hard to operate.
Hotel location is near the main railway in Rome. Hotel receptions are very kind and friendly. The room is good cleaning and they seems old in the pictures, but the room is still looking good.
We arrived with a minibus and it was not difficult to find the hotel, but if some of you arrived with train or bus it mind be little bit difficult to find. We got a room for five persons and the light in bathroom was too less.
The location is good, the staff is nice, the room was quite and clean. Good quality/price ratio.
The breakfast is very basic: we had to go to a cafe and we could only had a tea, a coffee or a cappuccino and a croissant.
Great location!! 2-3 minutes away from Termini Roma. and total walking distance to the Colesseo. Was very lenient with checkout. Despite our late flight, was able to leave our bags in their storage room. Staff was very friendly! Highly recommend!!
Wi-Fi was spotty and the shower door was slightly broken upon check-in. Also highly suggest making duplicate keys!! other than that great stay!!
Clean, close to city center (15 min by walk from colisseum), room big enough
Street noise. Tram all night
Very friendly staff, clean room.
Room at the front had much street noise. But after two days we could have a quiet room at the back side of the building.
This was very central for us as we had just returned from a train trip the day before and had to catch the train to Fiumicino airport for our departure. The staff were very efficient and the room was clean and quiet.
Nothing really. Room was a good size but that was about all that was good about it.This is not a hotel. Its not even a B&B as breakfast is not offered on the premises but in a building across the road. Would not stay here again.
The bed in our room (310) was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. Lumpy mattress with what must be the cheapest, oldest, lumpy pillows. One pillow each with only one spare in the wardrobe which did not even have a cover on it. Socket coming away from wall. No hot water at the sink, which we told staff about. The "hotel" states each room has a beautiful parquet floor (cheap laminate) mini bar (empty) and safe..didnt see one in our room. We dont mind basic but we do expect comfort to some degree, especially at £120 + taxes a night. Would not recommend this establishment if you want to at least sleep after a busy day in Rome.
The New Inn was the perfect choice for staying in a central location in Rome. The "hotel" is located on the third floor (accessible via and elevator when one has luggage to consider). Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean with air exchanger - a much more eco friendly solution to staying cool. The kettle, cups and tea in the room was a nice touch - the fridge a welcome addition to keep the food cool we bought at the nearby grocery store. We were able to connect to anywhere in the city. Termini Station is just a short three blocks away - the tram stops in front of the building. We wasted no time to reach sightseeing destinations - great place.
We (2) spent six nights at the hotel and were given a room overlooking the busy street scape with trams coming and going from early morning till midnight. Friends of ours arrived for one or two nights and were assigned to rooms overlooking the quiet courtyard... something to consider and request for anyone booking this hotel.
Close to termini station
Location Room quality Nice bathroom
Noise (that's near a tram stop) Breakfast is outside in a bar, no big issue but short in choice (late-cafelate - capuccino - corneto)
Lovely room for 5 ppl (u don't get too many off them!!) every staff member we met were surperb. Very clean, was very pleased, good location for us
Location was pretty good. Price for area wasn't bad. If you are looking for a good location and won't spend much time in the room then it should be fine.
Staff was not good though. They were never around. Did not follow up. And really didn't care about you once you booked. AC barely worked. Bathtub drained very slowly and backed up when in shower. They did not make up or clean the room once all three days. Elevator is small and slow. Room was dark. Don't even bother with the TV satellite is always jittery.
close to termini station, presence of fridge in room, good AC, budget friendly
room small for 4 people, one of the mattress was not comfortable.
