The room was clean, comfortable and Newley renovated. It was central to all the sight seeing in Genoa. The price was perfect.
I was there on a Sunday and the bar area was not open.
Location was good and breakfast quite delicious, there were a lot of things to chose from. Wifi - good. Huge and comfortable bed.
Hotel doesn't have a parking, but there is one just across the street for which you have to pay extra.
I travel all the time and found that the The cleaners were very nice, the hosts that work in the lobby are very slow and rude. They are very confused. They need more English speaking workers at the lobby.
I travel all the time and never have been to a hotel without air conditioning. If I am paying a lot for a room I would expect AC in the summer, especially if the visitor has babies. It was very hot at night and it caused us to get sweaty in the middle of the night. Food must be only ordered before a specific time. The cleaners have better customer service than the hosts in the lobby. Their entrance at the front is a huge hill if you need to walk from the city, which is very tiring. The rooms are not worth paying for its cost. They charge for cleaning the room.
We got our room in the renovated part, still there was bad smell coming from old part
-3 euro per minute if you use the computer for Printing pages -Some of those who worked at the front desk are extremely rude
free tea & coffee in lobby with fruit
It was not first time we stayed with nh hotels. It matched expectation as usual. In particular great location, big rooms, breakfast with children's meal and free children's accommodation characterise nh in Genova. We had a garden view with waterfall. Free small buffet (coffee, snacks) at 3 P.M. is a good bonus.
Expensive parking. Only night time is free of charge (from 20.00- 08.00), after 2,5 euro per hour, sunday- free, no daily fee. Garage daily fee is 20 euro.
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The prices for the stay was fantastic. I will definitely get back :)
No gym in the hotel.
Central location, quite room, modern bathroom.
Renovated rooms are small, have no proper chair to sit, the two person bed was too small for two persons, perhaps only 1,40 m wide. Breakfast area has insufficient capacity to sit, understaffing leads to breakfast empty trays, they are refilled eventually though. Long lines at coffee etc. Value for money ratio is not great for was not great for what is offered.
I would certainly recommend this hotel - it is perfectly located, clean and comfortable.
The room was newly decorated and very clean. The stuff was friendly and helpful.
No ventilator in the bathroom, no window in the room, the bathroom dor is hiting the closet when oppening! I think is the worst 4 star i ever been!!!
Wifi only for 12 hours
The hotel was well positioned for exploring the city, Charming staff, delicious breakfast. Rooms were small but functional.
Nice location, comfy rooms and good bed. We also got upgraded to superior room - that was nice perk
The room was not cleaned properly - old towel and used toiletries were all over the bathroom
For what I paid for 3 nights (£148), I thought this 4-star hotel was excellent value for money. The room was clean and well-furnished and air conditioned. There was also free Wi-fi with a very good signal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was also particularly good by Italian standards with plenty of choice.
Nothing really. The room could have done with decorating and the hotel was a little out of the centre but these are only small points.
Nice and clean hotel, excellent breakfast, good location
Breakfast until 12 noon on Sunday. Unlike comments from others, the room assigned to me was nice, small but modern.
On the background of the port city, where all the dirt, well-groomed parks, to get into a very clean and comfortable hotel was a miracle. Everything is great. Good varied breakfast. Comfortable and very clean rooms.
The hotel is very close to the center -about 5 minutes walking distance. The staff was very helpful. We had 2 rooms for 5 people and one of the rooms had one double and a bank bed that would be good for the family. Breakfast was included in the price and was pretty good.
The shower holder did not work in one of the rooms. No free hotel parking.
Everything. Location, staff, amenities, room design, cleanliness.
Location was perfect as it was close to most of the attractions Genoa can offer. Counter staff was courteous and helpful.
There are 2 wings of the hotel, the old wing and the new wing... the old wing does need a little touch up....
Location was quite good - only two bus stops from a main Metro line and fairly near to beach from there (10 minutes slow walk). Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable.
Carpet in room was shabby and dirty with marks on. Tiled floor in bathroom cracked in places. Room windows looked into dismal concrete inner area. Minibar overpriced (3 Euros for small bottle of water) WiFi ridiculously slow. Using simply apps on a tablet like Google Maps took forever. For someone like me who needs this to enable route planning while on holiday it was essential, so it had a significant impact on the holiday. Car parking NOT free. Carpark next door charged us 20 Euros for overnight parking. Fortunately there was a national holiday after that so we found a space to park for free outside, which would have normally been a park and pay spot, but didn't charge due to it being Sunday and then national holiday on the Monday.
I stayed twice in the NH Hotel in Genova. At New Years Day in a superior room for two which is in a renovated part of the hotel and it was great. Also breakfast was great and service was excellent.
I stayed at easter again in the NH Hotel in Genova, this time in a standard room for two and that was disappointing: Not renovated, shabby and service at breakfast was disappointing.
