This peaceful Atahotel is set on the edge of Rome's Villa Pamphili park. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, a traditional restaurant, and classically furnished rooms with 5 hours of free Wi-Fi.
Score from 839 reviews Good
Cardinal Hotel St. Peter is one mile from the Vatican, and offers views of Saint Peter's Basilica from most rooms and its summer panoramic terrace with hot tubs.
Score from 942 reviews Good
In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.
Score from 3512 reviews Very good
Eurostars Roma Aeterna is in a former pharmaceutical factory in the pedestrian-only area of Rome's Pigneto, popular for its cafes and bars. Rooms are large and have free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1040 reviews Very good
Good bar nice staff has a pool. Is out of town but the bus is convenient once you walk down the hill and it goes straight past the Vatican and stops at the colosseum
You need to buy a bus ticket at the tobacco shop which is inside the restaurant which is round the corner from Macdonalds
One of the few hotels in Rome with free parking Good conditions, excellent breakfast
Rather far away from the city center, however public transportation was available within a convenient range, also during the night
Nothing apart of the swimming pool.
Dirt everywhere, unfriendly and never smiling staff, no will to make traveller's life easier. Really - avoid this hotel. We've used to stay in other NH hotels in other cities/counties and thought we'd receive same quality of service here too but was the worst hotel experience ever.
Friendly employees. Nice pool. Upgrade accessible for small fee. Nice inside private parking, even for electric cars. Excellent Wi-Fi. Restaurant inside hotel. Bus lines available nearby to go center of Rome. Nice breakfast with choice.
The owner should make an effort to replace weared out carpets and other facilities. The employee try to keep the place clean... Restaurant have a good menu but food is a bit too salty. The personnel has a hard time refill on time the breakfast buffet. (More personnel required?) The Air Conditionning fan is a bit noisy, but it is still possible to sleep without any problems.
good breakfast - good locatuion - bij bus to city (5 min vatican - 10 min town) or by bus in 5 min in fast metro
Great hotel, nice rooms and bathroom, very comfortable. a Large hotel with it's own underground parking. Only10 mins to the Vatican City and Rome central. Staff are really good and willing to help
We enjoyed the swimming pool. The wifi was very strong. Food was good.
There was a poor selection of drinks. Drinks were also quite expensive. The hotel bedroom was a bit too small. There were no personal touches unfortunately either.
The wifi was excellent, good coverage throughout the hotel. Decent breakfast, good variety. Takes about 25 minutes to walk (downhill) to St. Peter's Square. Nice to have the swimming pool for when you want a break from the city. The hotel provide towels and sun loungers free of charge for the pool. Very clean rooms. Overall the hotel is nice and quite.
Lacks atmosphere. Didn't feel like I was in beautiful city such as Rome. Feels like any big hotel just off a motorway. Nothing particularly Roman or Italian about it. The walk back is all uphill. This hotel definitely takes advantage of the isolated location. They overcharge for lots of things as there aren't a lot of shops/restaurants nearby. Very unfair. One 500ml bottle of water costs €3.50. An ice cream costs €6. A sandwich is €13. The lunch/dinner menu is very poor and bland, some of the food is cooked from frozen. After 11pm there is nothing to eat as there as no late night restaurants/shops nearby. There isn't even a vending machine in the whole complex. A taxi from Da Vinci Airport costs €50 (2 people). A taxi to the centre of Rome costs about €15.
Pool Pool staff fantastic & very friendy.
Lack of towels first 2 days but housekeeping sorted efficiently.
The breakfast and swimming pool were great
The range of wines and beers
We loved the hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was neat and nice with the friendly staff there too. Location was no issue, since we loved to walk around the city, and the bus stop to city was only a 5min walk away. Luxury for very good price!
The pool should be open earlier and until later. Food price was too high, so we decided not to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was good, but I would appreciate some variations, for 5 night stay you might get bored with the same bfast every morning.
Good breakfast. Location easy to reach the center nu bus. Friendly staff. We were there moe 5 or 6 times
Excellent wifi. Good breakfast. Proximity to shops and buses.
Very busy noisy road and overflowing bins near hotel. Noisy road by swimming pool.
Location great for my business. Staff was good
Room need a little TLC. bathroom needs to be re-done.
It is a nice place in a nice city
The very old carpet. Insufficient staff in the reception
the room, wi-fi. breakfast was excellent
taxi charged us 80euro from hotel tp airport.. it was rip off..
the location is just a few minutes drive away from the Vatican city
a traveler either on business or on leisure trips would like to enjoy a swim on their return after a long days schedule which is never before hrs 1900 and the hotel operates the pool only until Hrs 1900, the hotel staff did not change the bed linen even after 3 days and tried their best to re-use hardly soiled towels even after leaving them on the bathroom floor. We traveled in the month of June and Rome was with high temperatures and the air conditioning was not able to cool the room as much as required and due to which sometimes I didnt get sleep in the night. On the whole it was my worst experience with a NH Chain hotel.
very weak Wi-fi
Very comfortable, Bar prices good.
Information could have been more detailed with regard to public transport i.e. only told of one bus to the Vatican, waited one hour, only to find out that several other buses went that way.
Location and accessibility to the major tourist sites.
Bacon and eggs at breakfast were not drained, they were swimming in oil.
clean and cozy. good staff. nice breakfast buffet. restaurant was also good.
wi-fi was slow and inefficient. tv was only analog. it's quite far from metro station. you need to take a bus and/or metro to get to tourist attractions.
The breakfast buffet had a lot of breads and toppings, but the eggs were runny (every day) and the bacon undercooked.
Location - we booked based on previous reviews that described easy access to public transportation. This is not really the case unless you are young and in good shape (I am in a knee brace from recent knee surgery and walk well on flat surfaces, but struggle with hills). The hotel is far from everything and in a residential area. We spent almost 250 euros on cabs in three days just going around locally. Staff -- getting an answer was like playing 20 questions. They might answer part of your question, but omit information that is key to providing the whole answer. For example, when we asked about the bus to Vatican, we were told how and where to access it and to buy a ticket at the tobacconist, but they neglected to mention that the tobacconist would be closed that day (Sunday). This happened repeatedly. Wi-Fi -- this was important as I was monitoring two online classes during our trip. The wi-fi is not robust and access is intermittent. The staff gave us username/pw to use (you need a new card each day), but we were not able to log on. We were then told that this is 6euros and we needed to use the basic free version, which was fine, but kept cutting out. Each question required a trip to the desk because they could not answer on the phone. Food service -- the food was expensive and the service very slow. On our first night, it took 45 minutes for toasted sandwiches in the bar (restaurant reserved).
Good breakfast Clean Kind Easy to use Bus I will stay again if I go to Rome again.
Easy to access by car, very clean and confortable hotel
Access to nearest metro about 20 min walk, not very easy.
