Valentine is great. She suggested nice cafes. Her place is located in nice district which is close to the center.
WiFi should be improved
Everything was good. Perfect location. There are two nice cafes downstairs near the crossroad. Good bed for sleeping after long city walking. I highly recommend this guest-house for travelers. Lot of thanks to host Valentina.
Perhaps walls in room are too thin )) that's all
Brand new rooms, comfortable beds, free wi-fi, friendly staff, great location, good value
Fridge wasn't working, slow TV with very few English channels, small room, rundown building
We both enjoyed our stay with Nina, she is an excellent host and very organised and helpful. Made sure we got a set price taxi to the airport, all on time which was a comfort. I was surprised how close it was to the sights of Rome and we were able to walk everywhere which was excellent.
Very nice and organized. Staff friendly and helpful. Wonderfull area.
EXCELENT LOCATION. THE REST IS FAIRLY OK.
The apartment is ok, but the building is horrible.
Nina is a warm and friendly person and was helpful with recommendations for good restaurants nearby. She apologized for the mix up in receiving us. The room we had was spacious with a modern bathroom. We had access to the kitchen. Wi-Fi was strong.
It takes three different doors to open to get inside the facility and consequently three different keys which did not always work well. Many times we struggled to open the main level doors. We noticed we were not the only guests experiencing this problem. You have to be very precise about your arrival time. We ended up waiting a couple of hours on the main floor of the building for Nina to arrive to check us in. The place is not suitable for people with mobility problems. (You have to walk up a small stair way to reach the tiny elevator.)
This guesthouse was the perfect base for us while exploring Rome. It was beautifully decorated inside and the room we stayed in was spotless and comfortable. Loved the decor! The transport into the centre of the city was right outside the door, tram number 8! It is also extremely close to all of the bars/pizzerias of Trastevere which made the evening times very enjoyable. When I return to Rome, I would happily stay here again. A hidden gem which is great value for money!
We did have real trouble using the keys that we were given for the property. On several occasions it took us quite a few minutes to open the front gate as well as the entrance door to the property. I would recommend that these keys and/or locks get changed to make it easier for guests to gain access.
Nina was very helpful, mapped out food options and gave us tips on sightseeing. the room was beautiful, and very comfortable. The street is a little misleading, but I was prepared for that (thanks to other reviewers) and the hotel did not disappoint. Thanks for a great launch to our honeymoon Nina!
It might be time to invest in a new lock so that it is easier to open the front door... the old lock is worn down, but opening the front door (especially when there is not 24hr reception) should not be a crap shoot. There are however two previous entrances that open very easily so it's not like you are stuck on the street fumbling, but still...
The place was very cute and the location was good. The staff knew a lot about the area and provided a map with good directions to various places including bus routes.
the bathroom smelled but I assume it was due to the carpet in the bathroom and the beds were very firm. Aside from that everything else was ok.
Location in Trastevere was great and it wasn't far to walk to many nearby attractions. Trastevere is always busy with people in the evenings especially. The staff were lovely, particularly the cleaner as we saw her every morning (the owner is rarely there but friendly and helpful too) and the transfers to and from the airport were efficient (pay for this service). The owner emailed us to arrange a time for check in so good communication beforehand. Plenty of space in the rooms, lovely decoration throughout the guesthouse and nice communal kitchen & eating area. Breakfast isn't said to be provided however there were breakfast foods there for anybody to eat. We loved the radio/iPod dock in the room as well. Very secure.
We were woken up very early every morning by a delivery lorry outside our room for a shop and the sewerage truck was extremely loud in the same place one evening. Cleaning is from 9:30am every morning so don't expect a lie in. Carpet was dirty & made our feet black but the type of carpet is hard to clean thoroughly.
Valentina was outstanding! She spent a lot of time with my husband and I and made sure we had everything we needed. She recommended restaurants that she would go to and maped out the main tourist attractions that we wanted to see in Rome. Traveling with children can be challenging in Rome, but her rooms were clean and my girls loved it. She even arranged a taxi for us the morning we had to leave for the airport. We would definitely go back again.
Admittedly it was the photos of Nina Casetta that won us over. And we were not disappointed. Very nicely styled apartment in the heart of Trastevere. Communal kitchen area was excellent and we made the most of it. There is a supermarket virtually next door, so it was great to just go and buy some salad and other fresh fruit and vegetables, then have the kitchen facilities to prepare and eat our salads. A short stroll to the restaurant area of Trastevere, which is also the heart of the tourist area. Head in the opposite direction to find some quieter streets and more authentic restaurants. Although the taxi driver who dropped us off at the hotel warned us to be careful, especially at night, we actually felt quite safe walking around this part of town.
Oh my - the street noise! Our room faced the main street, and despite the double glazing and steel shutters, every time a tram rumbled past, it felt like a mini earthquake in our room. If your room faces the street, a pair of good ear plugs is a must if you plan on getting any sleep!
Nina was wonderful and the room was beautifully decorated. I look forward to returning to stay.
Perfect location. Room clean. Very helpful owner. Good Wifi connection.
Centre and easy access to everywhere. Friendly Staff Ease of stay Privacy
Valentina - the owner was very nice from the moment we met her and gave us useful advice regarding restaurants, places to visit, transfer to airport. She gave us a nice discount because we checked in on my birthday and suggested to leave the big luggage at check out and go and visit some more (we had a late flight). Even if breakfast is not included - coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and cereals are on the house (there is a communal kitchen). The location is perfect if you want to visit the main attractions - they are all in walking distance - Trastevere is the best place to stay while visiting Rome- I love it. The B&B is very clean and has all the facilities you need including free wi-fi. The owner is really nice - which is a very important aspect when choosing accommodation for us.
Don't expect a 5 star hotel - it's a B&B. Good value for the money.
Great value, location
Hard to find
Valentina (the owner) is great, she welcomed us for our 3 day stay in Rome with a lot of good tips and nice friendly vibe. She will tell you where the Romans go, not the tourists, which is always better when you visit a city. The location in Trastevere is good, plenty to do around and easy access to all the major attractions of Rome. Nice stay, thanks Valentina!
The location was great only a small walk to all shops and bars and restaurants
The road below was a little noisy early in the morning as a main street.
well located in Rome, only few minutes walk to most of attractions.
lack of reception service
Highly recommended, this is a good location for visiting Rome. Lovely owner and staff, on the premises nearly every day, very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is beautifully designed and comfortable, well equipped small kitchen, breakfast food items provided. Easy to access areas of interest, plenty of places to eat in the area.
Rooms at the front are subject to traffic noise.
Great location, easy to walk to main sights and tram/bus stops very close also
Good place and good localization
