Location of the hotel was spot on - less than 500m to the Leaning Tower and all the restaurants etc... Plus only about a 5 minute walk to the station which was very handy for our trips out of Pisa. The combination of great location, friendly staff, lovely clean room and pretty courtyard garden, along with the decent rates means that I don't think we could have asked for more for our 3 days in the area.

Clean, good modern design - we had room 203 which is a large, street facing room on the first floor. It has a solid, wooden floor which was nicer on bare feet than the tiled floor we've had elsewhere on our trip. Extremely warm and cosy even in a cold February. Good location, buffet breakfast and coffee.

Friendly staff, a short stroll from the Leaning Tower. It is close to the university, so very lively by day (totally silent by night) Lots of interesting and diverse restaurants nearby. The via Roma opens on to the Piazza die Miracoli ( leaning tower) so extremely convenient. Overall, a lovely stay in an excellent hotel close to a buzzing area

Nice room and decoration, reasonable price, well-kept garden (with view over same - so night was quiet), can drive to the door (easy parking elsewhere), simple but good breakfast, ten minutes walk from Campo dei Miracoli, and exceptionally nice and helpful manager.

We liked the friendliness of the owners and others in the hotel all of whom were very helpful and also patient with our attempts at Italian - grazie! The cleanliness of the room and en-suite; the size and comfort of the bed; the power shower were all great and the location of the hotel was pretty good too. We would have been happy to stay longer at the hotel but on this occasion we were only passing through Pisa. Not a complaint - just an observation that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby it wasn't a problem. There was a fridge in the room for cold drinks etc. which was very welcome.

The friendliness of the staff and the their willingness to offer infromation and help; the location was superb Ground floor room needs either a net or muslin curtain over the window as any one in the garden - nice feature - has a clear view directly into the room

The hotel was in a good location just along the road from the leaning tower etc. The room was nicely decorated, as were the public areas of the hotel. Disappointed in the neglected garden area. With a bit of care and attention it could have been lovely. We were considering booking for breakfast but when we went to have a look at the room, there was a smell of cigarettes which put us off.

The hotel has a lovely garden. The room was nicely decorated with a modern bathroom. The air con worked well. Mosquito bodies on the Walls. Mosquitos are rampant in the area, obviously not the hotels fault but the squashed remains could have been cleaned from the Walls.

Hotel was clean. Room was on the small side, ok for one night. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Aircon, tv, fridge. Hotel decor appealing. Would stay again for a short stay and would recommend to friends.

I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid but I was impressed. Staff were very friendly, location was perfect and the room was very clean. The hotel felt like a home away from home. Moreover, the hotel also has a restaurant nearby which was fantastic.

That is was so close to the tower of pisa, and also to walk around the city and get to the train staion on foot. The elevator was too small. The front entrance carpet looked shabby and dirty, also the garden was nice , but just needed a little bit more of attention. The shower dooer was cramped to open and touching the toilet bowl. No shower handle in the shower, just an over head, very hard to wash my kids.

The staff did not speak much English, but we don't really care, and they made every effort to help with questions and small favors. Communication was no problem. Short walk to the leaning tower, so we were immediately into our tour of the city within minutes of leaving the hotel.

A reasonably priced, friendly, clean hotel in a convenient location near the Leaning Tower and plenty of restaurants. There were only 4 coathangers and no drawers in the room.

We did not like the hotel We had booked 3 nights but stayed only 1 night. The first room we got smelled very much of insect spray and we refused to occupy it.The second smelled a lot from the furniture (leather). Complaints had come from several clients said the receptionist. All other rooms would have the same smell, again according to the receptionist. We are not especially sensitive to smells but this was clearly unacceptable.
