Location and price
fairly basic Breakfast
very clean and large room.Good location.Very nice and helpful staff.Comfy beds.
Shower very good but very difficult to get into due to door opening inwards.
A great location within easy waliking distance from the leaning tower.
Wonderful staff Very comfortable, updated rooms and bathrooms with air conditioning Good location - walkable to all of the sites of Pisa
It was good for what we paid. Clean, pretty comfy, pretty cheap. All in all it served as a one night stop.
Really close to the tower & restaurants, but far enough away from the busyness & noise making for restful sleep. Excellent price especially including breakfast. Lovely & clean and modern.
Only downfall is that the air conditioning in our room - although very new looking - didn't work & because the hotel was completely full, we couldn't move rooms.
Very nice, friendly family run hotel
Good Location Friendly Staff Nice Breakfast Garden Very clean Peaceful
Mattress was a bit too hard, so had back ache, but may have just been us.
friendly staff, excellent location good breakfast, good rooms pleasant garden
noise in street but this ceased before midnight
well located for the main tourist sights, very friendly and helpful - this is a family hotel, pleasant garden, standard of room beds etc excellent - good value for money
the air in room is not so fresh
beautiful room, like a small villa not a hotel, clean room, enough towels, clean bathroom, lady reception very friendly and well specking english
roof was wooden and something black was coming all time which make me afraid to seep on the bed, evening reception was angry, old, aggressive man who didn't know english, every question he want to hit me instead of trying to help. wiefie was not working in the room and i have to sit in the garden to have internet.
Location and price
Very old fashioned - shower didn't work.
Hotel just ok sums it up.
Had breakfast first morning no bread, milk, juice, empty kettle, no cups, had to keep asking for items. So didn't go back on morning two.
Great location at just a few hundred meters from the Pisa tower and cathedral, but outside the hectic and busy tourist areas. Very nice decorated and spacious rooms with friendly staff. A peaceful small and lush garden for relaxation. Free WiFi in the rooms.
The owners (Very friendly and attentive). Breakfast very reasonable at 5 Euros (loads of coffee and plenty of continental options). Quirky lift! Location and price very good. Try them direct for a better deal. Room was an ok size for a short stay. Bathroom good and clean - see comment on shower head though
Shower head over the shower badly needs replaced. Not pleasant to look at. Owner said it would be replaced.
We were couple from Glasgow, Scotland staying during the luminara. Travelled to various other places too Lucca, Pietrasanta, Montecatini, and Cinqueterre. Hotal in easy walking distance 15-20mins of both Pisa stations. 5minutes from Leaning Tower with two good restaurants mins from hotel before you get to Leaning Tower. Charming Italian couple run hotel and it was no problem for them to arrange a taxi to come for a specified time to go to the airport on the day of departure. Bed very comfortable and good air conditioning. Would definitely recommend hotel and would stay again if we revisited Pisa. Many thanks, John & Ruby.
No faults - it does say be back to room for midnight which we did on the night of the fireworks but I'm sure if we had said in advance that we might be after that time then it would not be a problem. We seen most of the fireworks which didn't start until 11.30pm as the hotel is just 5mins walk from the riverside.
Not a lot when I was told the outside door would be locked at midnight???
The father and daughter owners lock the outside door at midnight - what? For this reason I only stayed 1 night but was charged for 4 nights - why? Poor customer relations!
We were charged more than the stated price on our booking through this website
Nice spacious room, with a beautiful ceiling. Friendly staff and great breakfast with awesome coffee. It was very unfortunate that I couldn't stay a few more days. Also a great location and beautiful garden.
Lovely location, clean and smart looking hotel, easy to find
Noisy air conditioning unit, no information on breakfast or facilities could have been better with a little more international information within the rooms
The location was very good, the size of the room was fair and there is free wifi.
The state of the walls of one of the rooms was very poor, not painted and coming out. Breakfast is poor.
Location and room
Noise from the streets early in the morning and noise from hotel staff discussing late at night is not a good combination.
Location for the tower and rail station (for Lucca, Florence etc). was excellent.
My wife and I stayed here several years ago and the hotel was much fresher then. It is now getting rather "tired" and in need of a total makeover I'm afraid. Rooms are drab (but bedding and bathrooms clean) and breakfasts basic (we had to ask for bread, milk, cereal, none of which had been replenished). There is a bar in the breakfast room but when we returned after dinner one evening and asked if we could get a nightcap (about 10pm) the owner refused. We felt that this was poor service. Location for the tower and rail station (for Lucca, Florence etc). was excellent. Unfortunately we would not however feel able to recommend this hotel.
Marble floor tiles in the bathroom
Ground floor room faced onto the road and was extremely noisy. Air conditioning worked at first then didn't work.
