EXE Domus Aurea is next to ancient Roman ruins and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. A generous American buffet is served daily on the roof terrace overlooking the Terme di Diocleziano.

we stayed there few nights for the New Year eve. It was great and close enough to metro and Colosseum
Breakfast is not upto the mark..rather poor.
The staff and location was perfect...
Very close to metro which is on the red/orange line with all the major attractions. An easy walk to the colosseum and the forum. Good breakfast.
Very nice hotel with clean room and bathroom.Close to Colosseum and metro station.
The location is nice, the breakfast is good....it's a fine location if you want to visit Rome. The underground is close; 20 minute walk to Coloseum...the stuff very nice; it's worth the money :)
Not having towels replaced for second day especially as 4 of us sharing one bathroom. Breakfast food tasteless.
We just loved it , its in the center of Rome , great personal and atmosphere especially night time , I do recommend to everybody who likes cosy and down to earth hotels
Convenient location, good value for the price.
Only hotel on entire 2 week tour where we found a lift. Excellent. Lovely breakfast too.
7 mins walking from the metro
-bath room, serious leaking for just taking a shower -sound proofing is not good
Great location with a lovely roof top terrace for a break from the city business. Close to the colesseum and a few good restaurants a couple of blocks away (ask reception to recommend). Breakfast could have had slightly more choice but food was good.
The location was great- less than 15 minutes walk to the colosseum- and close to the Metro station. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the area. The room was clean and bed comfortable. We loved the rooftop patio and the huge choice for breakfast!! We would definitely stay here again!!
really close to the subway
wifi signal not stable couldn't find it sometimes
Very friendly and helpful staff who were always ready and willing to help us in any way.
The location of the hotel is not the best but it is close to bus stops and an underground train station is only around a five minute walk away.
Location. Rooftop garden. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Rooms and shower stalls were on the small side.
Room is very small.
Very clean Hotel
Towels are not changed everyday!!
I liked the location, it's just a few steps from the subway.
I had never stayed in such a small room, I could barely move in it. In Paris, for just a little more, I stayed in a room more than twice the size of this one. This room was the size of a washroom, no kidding. Also, noise is a problem, as the rooms are divided by wooden walls. Any single low noise your neighbors make can be heard, and sometimes the neighbors can arrive 3am, 4am. Also, I spoke with the doorman on the phone asking him if I could postpone my arrival since my plane was delayed and I didn't want to pay one night that I would barely use, he agreed, but after I arrived he changed his mind, like that. That was very unprofessional. The TV is a joke, I didn't even bother trying to turn it on, there was no remote control in sight, and the TV was small and located in a place hard to see.
Had a room with private roof terrace, which was wonderful! Breakfast was good, staff pleasant. It was a short walk to metro. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing we didn't like.
Staff were very friendly, a beautiful roof top for having breakfast and a reasonable price too. Loved it! If i come back to Rome i will definately stay at Novecento again.
It is located on a tiny street that took us an hour to find. No fault of the hotel though!
Roof top garden was wonderful
Not as close to the colleseum as advertised.
- Location - Helpful and polite receptionists
- Poor Breakfast (worst coffee ever!!!) - We threw the dirty towels on the floor so as to change them but instead of changing them with clean ones, they put the same dirty towels back. - No extra soap or toilet paper so we had to ask for more. - We had to ask for clean glasses too.
Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Collosseum. We had been there 21-25 July. It is a very peaceful and pleasant street. Breakfast is very nice. Accommodation and price are in a relation.
Ventilation in the elelevator is not on a very high level.
close to the city
not a 3 stars.....traveling all over Europe and north America and this is not a 3 star
