staff was very helpful and well-tolerated my complete lack of Italian.
Weekend break with my wife. Selected hotel on basis of newspaper article. Proved to be spot on. Brilliant location, literally two minute walk from town centre. Great room & nice staff with great recommendation from the desk for restaurant at short notice. Recommended.
Historical surroundings Interesting little eating places
the heating was not swiched on when we arrived no warm blankets
Very small room. Small bed.
The staff was super helpful and friendly. Loved the morning breakfast offered. Location was central to everything. Great value for the money.
Very nice new clean hotel located in prime location. Will be very happy to stay again.
the staff is really friendly and helpful, even lead us the way to the restaurant. the facility is new and good, room is not big but comfortable.
wifi connection is not so stable
Perfect location, spacious comfortable room and bathroom.
The room was too warm.
The hotel location is just perfect, in the middle of the historical center, close to good restaurant (sometimes hidden in very small streets, known only by local people). My room was really quite, small but well decorated. Printer available for free. Free Wifi.
TV was not well located on the room and still 4/3 format (and quite small) while all channels where 16/9 format (so part of the image was not visible)and no possibilities to change the setup. Wifi for only one device. I connected my laptop, but no way to connect mobile phone with the same login and pwd. It was not a real problem for me as I stayed only one night.
The reception staff are wonderful! Nothing is too much trouble for them. They helped me with a multitude of tasks (even organised me a driver for the day - business) The hotel is ideally located in the centre of bologna. The hotel has being lovingly restored to a high standard throughout.
The only negative I can think of was room was small with a single bed but I did book a single room!
Location is very good, in the middle of the city and close to everywhere
The high chair and bed for baby were too old and they seemed dirty. Not suitable for babies! Rooms need to be painted.
Excellent location tucked away close to main pizza, near most everything in the center. Wonderful breakfasts, outstandingly clean.
My room was quite small and nothing like what was pictured. Quite well appointed, but among the smaller rooms I've had anywhere in the world. Given that, I thought it only a fair value.
Great central location.
For this level of hotel, the beds were very uncomfortable. There was a regular industrial noise coming from the ceiling, and the quality of breakfast service was poor. Poor value for money.
I really liked the modern interiors, location, comfortable bed, no noise, large bathroom and the breakfast. All in all, it's a really good hotel with friendly staff.
I booked a single room, which according to the booking.com website, is with a double bed. After arriving to the hotel, surprisingly I received a room with a single bed with a high wooden frame on both angles. As I am almost 1,75cm tall, it was impossible for me to sleep in that bed. Then I requested to be placed in a different room, which was fortunately possible.
As a solo female traveller this hotel was perfectly positioned, been very close to the main piazza but on a nice quiet spot. It was an easy walk to all the main sights. The breakfast was for me excellent in choice, and the staff friendly and helpful. I had the single room which was small but me it was fine as I hardly spend any time in a hotel room, and it had a good sized bathroom, a generous shower and a very wide single bed.
If there was a better quality mattress this room would have been perfect for me.
This hotel is near the ancient part of the city.. We enjoyed the modern look while in a very ancient city. They had wonderful suggestions for places to eat and walk during our short stay. Staff was wonderful.
Make sure your options for type of beds ( ie. single twin, king, etc. ) are clearly engaged when you make an online reservation. I ordered 2 twins since I was traveling with my sister.. They gave us a king.. and proved it on the form I filled out.. Something must not have 'clicked".. The front desk was most apologetic but had nothing else since they were sold out. They gave us a small 'gift" for our troubles.
The staff were nice and the location was excellent.
In flated prices and the rooms were misrepresented in the pictures.
We liked the assistance and directions provided by the staff.
Excellent location, easy parking available,
Air Con was never working that well. Breakfast not enough bread tasteless. have to admit I made the wrong choice by staying in Bologna for 3 nights. But the day trip to Florence did compensate.
In a quiet square, near to all the things we wanted to see. Our top floor room was lovely, with everything we needed. The bathroom was beautiful! It had two windows, one in the shower which was high enough for privacy, but with a beautiful view. A great hotel for those who like small, personal hotels with a lot of character.
Perfect central location, very friendly and helpful staff
Fantastic staff and location, ideally located for a short break in Bologna
