This hotel was so close to the station which suited us for our early morning connection. The staff recommended a restaurant that served excellent food. Breakfast was beautifully presented and coffee freshly made. A great stay!
Location Helpfull staff with good recommendations
STAFF VERY HELPFUL
Close to rail station and bus station. Quiet, very clean, staff are excellent. Second stay here and it did not disappoint.
No bars / restaurants close by but I chose the hotel based on proximity to public transport.
opera ws great. shuttle especially after the Opera was excellent. Hop on hop off bus was a great way to see tgings quickly if one only has a short time. People very friendly and helpful.
dog poo lying on the street was not pleasant especially when one slips on it in the dark.
Absolutely charming and welcoming reception staff. Very convenient for Verona PN station and airport shuttle bus (just a few minutes walk). Very quiet room overlooking trees and grass. 20 minute walk to the Arena and old town. Latest checkout time is 12 noon.
This was the most expensive hotel of the three cities we stayed in (Verona, Bologna and Ravenna), but compared with other Verona hotels of this standard the price was reasonable and included a good breakfast choice.
very friendly and helpful staff
We arrived early to check in and the receptionist was very welcoming and arranged coffee for us until our room was ready. During our stay, all of the staff were helpful and courteous.
Room a bit small
Easy reach from any transport (plane, bus, train). Location near the rail terminal and not so far (for me personally, my wife was concerned) from the old city centre. Good breakfast and efficient staff
Room is a bit small and have a big enough step to access the bathroom from the room (about 3-4 cm) that could even be dangerous to some people. No hot meal included in the breakfast. To go to the terminal or to the city you have to pass non-pleasant construction area
The hotel is well situated, about a 10 eur taxi ride from the center. Accomodation and comfort are ok. The biggest asset of the hotel is the lady at the reception. She is very close to perfection.
Price- way to high for the area. Staff made up a long distance, around the circle, map just so they could offer a taxi.
Really nice and cosy hotel, very kind and helpful staff. Tea&coffe available in the rooms.
it takes about 20-30 min. walk to the old town.
my husband and l stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our holiday in Italy. Both times all staff were wonderful. On our first stay they booked us a fantastic visit to the Verona opera. On the second they immediately upgraded our room when we complained that the first room allocated to us smelt of smoke. Can't praise them enough. The hotel needs upgrading perhaps from outside but once inside is clean with everything you would wish for.
Accoglienza e servizi. La colazione è ottima.
Excellent Reception staff, helpful and informative. Good breakfast. Close to bus station, so if you don't want to walk the 10-15 minutes to the centre you can hop on a bus.
nice and clean, helpful staff close to the train station free wi-fi all around the hotel
relatively far from the city center but there are buses all the time
Great staff. Very helpful. Terrific breakfast. Room is basic but solid. Expensive for what you are getting.
The location is a bit too far away from the key points of interest in Verona.
Easy to walk to centre of town, 1.5km. Right next to main railway station. 15 min drive from airport. Bed comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.
Excellent staff, who made traveling with young kids easier. Hotel is a great option for visiting Verona, a short walk to the train station. No evening meals, but we even ordered takeaway via reception
Close to train station, reception staff very helpful and friendly with very good English.
Bathroom very tight on space, a good walk from city centre about 20 mins, rooms very basic, but clean and serve purpose.
Close to trains and other public transport. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable
Too minor to mention
The main attraction of the Novo Rossi Hotel is its location within pedestrian walk to the railway terminal. Thus it is perfect for the overnight visitors who come to see Verona and leave the next day.
Rooms are Manhattan size, i.e. do not expect to dance or fence in the rooms.
Not close to city centre as the ad stated, you need to catch a bus and the area felt unsafe, also no restaurants nearby. My room was tiny, bed leant, the staff gave me the wrong address for the bus pick up point after opera then tried to charge me even though I'd called and told them i would get a taxi. I feel totally ripped off.
We were travelling by train and in Verona for one night only. As such, the location was excellent. The staff were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, assisting us to book tickets to the Opera at the Arena at short notice and were both courteous and efficient. The free bikes were a great bonus. We requested a quiet room and this was provided, with a good view of the gardens. The breakfast was good.
The shower arrangements were most unusual and it was difficult to shower without wetting the bathroom.
