Score from 1329 reviews Very good
This compact hotel was very neat and clean close to the station and places to eat. The breakfast was a buffet and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Beaded curtain hanging instead of a door on the wardrobe was a little annoying.
The trim has unique design with three floors, cool but can be difficult with luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Hotel was clean and new looking in the lobby and hallways
Location hard to find when driving, in a congested area. Parking is around the corner and up a hill, but at least there was some
Close to station. Short walk to historic city centre. Helpful staff.
Breakfast unimaginative compared to similar places.
A small hotel with modern amenities. Easy walking distance from the train station - you can see the hotel sign as you exit the station.
In a busy area with a fair bit of traffic right below our window. There was a step down into the room which was a concern to navigate during the night to get to the bathroom.
Clean, very friendly and helpful staff, location at a walking distance from the center of Genoa.
Location. Staff. Cleanliness
Steps up to room
A very nice interior and comfortable room. There was everything we needed. Friendly staff. The hotel is perfectly located and easy to find: 2 min to the train station, 10 min to the center and the old town.
Uncomfortable shower, poor breakfast with only sandwiches ans sweet pastries for 5 euro. There is practically no daylight in the room.
nice location, great breakfast, very clean and spacious room, very helpfull staff.free breakfast
Location wise it's great. Value for money - excellent.
We were in Italy for 2 weeks - this hotel had worst breakfest offering - they have to rewise it. If you come by car - a) hotel is not accesable by car as is located on public transport only one way road; b) they do not have parking (still offer partners 100m near by - but be ready to leave car with keys there) Cleaness - overall OK, but stuff has to clean shower better.
The boutique style décor and the unusual 3 floor room layout of the room for 4 people. The comfortable beds The kettle and tea - but it would be lovely to have had milk too.
The room was quite dark in the day time - it's definitely a gorgeous night time room but in the day, it's best to get into the fresh air outside. There is no guest lounge or open spaces.
The hotel has very convenient location - close both to the railway station, to the main attrachtions and to some restaurants. The hotel is very clean. The room as well the bathroom are big and nice. The staff is very helpful and the WI Fi is excellent. Very good choice if you want a business hotel or a smart hotel for your excursion.
Very clean room&bath Wifi in room Location - just by train station Has fridge in the room
Good location close to station, clean, good shower
- Claustrophobic, dark room - average breakfast
Renovating an historic building has given the architecture in this hotel a very interesting and quirky concept. Spotless and modern and modest in size, it is an excellent choice
All hotles in Italy seemed to offer a lot of sweet foods for breakfast. Being summer, I would have prefered fruit.
Location is fantastic , good value for Genoa,
Room was comfortable; had a good night's sleep; great shower. Very clean. Good breakfast - lots of choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. Waking distance to some interesting sites, and close to the rail station (where the tour bus stops).
No lift, and we were on 2nd floor (only rooms with air-conditioning). No parking on site - they have an arrangement with a local parking garage a couple of minutes away, but it's very expensive. It would have been cheaper overall to pay for a more expensive hotel but with free parking.
Room very clean and best shower in Italy! Staff very helpful when our son was sick and let him sleep in breakfast room on sofa after we had checked out while we looked around!
Coffee machine in breakfast room
Local parking expensive (42 euros for 2 days) so do research before arriving
The location is very near the station and convenient if you are traveling by train. Airport shuttle (Volabus) is also situated ver close to the hotel. However, the street itself did not make me feel safe at nights. Very clean and renovated bathroom.
No elevator and you have to carry your luggage quite some steps. Rooms could be more spacious, although we stayed in a superior room, the room seemed a bit stuffed.
good hotel position, walking distance to bay and city center quite good breakfast Good restaurants nearby (ask hotel stuff for recommendation)
Car parking 300m from hotel - It´s usual to leave the car key in parking place, what makes me really nervous, but finally it wasn´t car steeling scam, but strange nerve -tearing Genova car parking practice.
Great hotel if you need a hotel close to the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff and great wifi!
Convenient location : One block to the Train station and museums
The value for money is incredibly good. Location is perfect - the hotel can be reached by car, but right next to the hotel the pedestrian zone for the old town starts.
Close to Columbus Statue
Location was terrible to get to and Parking is very minimal.
This is a lovely hotel, situated opposite the main train station and within close proximity to the local sights on foot. The shopping area can also be reached on foot. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe .finally I recommend the reastaurant carabas for its authentic cuisine and reasonable prices.the restaurant is on the same street as the hotel on the left hand side.(3minutes walk from the hotel).finally,if you decide not to have breakfast at the hotel ,there are a couple of eating options to choose from(all on the same street).
If you travel light, there will be no problem since there is no elevator in the hotel.otherwise, this might be a big problem!
