Great location in Venice within walking distance of St. Mary's and the Grand Canal area. Small room but a great value for the location. Our room was on the 3rd floor so some may find that difficult. |

Visited Venice for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We chose the hotel primarily for its rate as other hotels in Venice itself were very expensive. The location turned out to be great, near the quayside, next to the Arsenale Waterbus stop and close to St Mark's and other sights. No complaints at all. Location good. Contintental breakfast was good. Service good. Rate was good. Very enjoyable stay. Would stay there again. |

It was quiet. It was not too far away from St. Mark's Piazza and close to ferries. Yes, the mozzies. Also being vegetarian, I objected most strongly to the cheese and meat being in the same container and the tongs being used for both. Consequently I did not have any - where's the hygiene? |

Great location, not far from st marks square. Plenty of restaurants nearby and close to main water taxi. Good selection at breakfast. OK hotel for 1 or 2 night stay. Tiny room with the smallest bathroom. No lift. |

The staff were kind and efficient; the rooms were clean; the showers were hot and strong; the breakfast was generous. It would be nice to get real coffee at breakfast; the heating did not come on until our last night, even though it was cold. |

The proximity to S.Marcs' square and the ease of access to the waterfront and back streets. The shower cubicle was tiny, the floor flooded everytime, the curtain stuck to you and the shower head was not adjustable and although the toilet looked clean it was very smelly. (However there was lots of hot water with good water pressure). |

The location was great, close to everything. Exactly as advertised. Rooms are small if that's a problem for you. Hotel staff went out of their way to help us hook up with family members (saw them on the street and flagged them down for us). |

We liked the location most. It was a short walk to the most important sites in Venice and we were able to walk all over Venice from here. It was also close to a vaporetto stop for convienence. The bed wasn't comfortable, but we didn't find a comfortable bed anywhere. A double bed is two singles jammed together. I always end up in the crack. |

Great location, great breakfast and pretty room although small. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walls paper thin - could hear other guests having a 'romantic' time! Also, bar below a bit noisy at night. |

Only a short walk over one cute bridge away from the waterbus stop Arsenale. Central location near Marc's Square. Our room was small, but was charming and pretty (florally flourishes all about) with windows that opened out onto the trattoria below. When we first arrived late in the evening after a magical first glance of Venice from our water-bus we were exhausted and hungry. The concierge was friendly and helpful and escorted us to the reasonable & charming trattoria next door which was exactly what we needed. The hotel staff all spoke excellent English, and were helpful with maps/directions and consistently pleasant. If we are lucky enough to return to Venice I would return to this hotel. Breakfast room a bit dark, but the breakfast food selection was fairly good for Italy. Just don't go in expecting eggs and bacon! It's all about pastries/croissants/hams and jams. |

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nuovo Teson. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, it was very clean and the air conditioning was quite and worked great. Breakfast was generous and very good. The location was excellent, as it was close enough to San Marco but far enough away to be peaceful. We would definitely stay here again. |

The location was really great. It is very convenient to Arsenal water taxi stop. The price was really reasonable for Venezia. If you don't have high expecations for a hotel and are just looking for a reasonable place to stay with an easy to find location the Teson is great. The noise from the street level bar was really loud. The room was really cold, very worn out looking, and the shower situation is not the best. There was black mold growing near the door way of our bathroom and the shower grate you stand on had pink mold. |

The hotel staff were very nice and the location was great. The shower had no pan so the carpet in front of the bathroom door stayed wet. |
