Hotel Nuovo Teson  

Young couple We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, fabulous location, room just what you need, breakfast was fresh fruit, warm breads and usual Italian breakfast items. Nothing to complain about at all. If you are looking cor somewhere reasonably priced in a fabulous location, you can go wrong. A short walk to st marks square where you are paying 9euros for quarter litre of beer so staying over night for £100 a night is a fair deal for what you get. Tips: get the water taxi from Venice Airport to arsenel port (a return ticket is 25euro).. When off the water boat its left over a small bridge and your first right turn between the restaurants. Take comfy fashionable shoes You can never be over dressed in venice- its the most beautiful place I've ever been!

Room was a little warm, bathroom was small, I was fine but im 5"1.

In a convenient location. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. No lift.

The bathroom was too small for anybody taller than 5 ft. The shower was blocked and the water slow to get away. The toilet continually needed to be flushed several times!!

Long way from the airport (right across the other side of Venice). Can take a private water taxi from the air port to arrive at the hotel in 25 mins, but costs €110. Bus and Vaperetto (public transport - approx €12) takes 1 hr 30 mins.

Good location 300m from St Marks Square. Rooms rather small but comfortable. Small en suite shower room but clean and in a1 condition. Don't bother booking the Superior Room, we did but I don't think it was any other than their standard room. Good breakfast with unlimited juice, tea/cofee, croisants, eggs, bread, ham cheese, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Only 2 star but met our needs for a 3 night stay.

Central position in 'local' neighbourhood - very helpful staff.

The number of stairs! Unavoidable really.

Brought a hairdryer up within seconds of asking . Gave advice and direc tions and a free map every day with routes shown on it. Recommended restaurants nearby. Sent an email for me .

Slightly grumpy staff esp if your went over time at breakfast !!!

if you are looking at this page right now - close it! Awful hotel. There was no hot water in our room and toilet didn't work right. And also it was so cold in our room and when we asked receptionist for the simple boiled water we was told to go to the nearest bar

Perfect situation in old city centre. Modest interior, small shower. We liked the breakfast and atmosphere in hotel. Also beds were ok.

The hotel is superbly situated, just a very short walk from St Mark's Square. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had an extra bed put in our room for one of our children too! We had a good breakfast and would happily recommend the hotel to others

The location was excellent- a very short walk from the Arsenale water bus stop. Also close to St. Marks. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful- If we had not been advised to leave for the airport on an earlier water bus on the day of the Venice marathon we would have missed our flight home. Although there is no lift a member of staff carried our heavy suitcase to the top floor! The rooms and public areas were kept very clean. Breakfast was good- a variety of choices. We would definitely stay at the Nuovo Teson again!

Room and bathroom were small but quite adequate. We had a twin room and the beds were a bit narrow- we are quite small but larger people would find it inconvenient. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was a bit noisy in the mornings- it sounded like glass bottles being moved around in nearby buildings.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and totally went the extra mile for us. The breakfast was nice and our room was small but lovely. I would definately stay there again.
