It' s a galery to. We had a very good breakfest with country chees, homemade chocolate cake , cactus froots, goog coffe in a galery. Room was very furnitured in a very nice stile. You can purchase pictures if you like. We got recomendation were to have good dinner, what to see in Palermo. Was very happy to stay there. Very good location. Thank you
The helpfulness of the staff who provided excellent advice on where to eat and what to see.
Noise from street with young people's bars late on weekend evenings. But in all other respects a perfect stay. We would have no hesitation in going back.
Super nice staff, beautiful rooms (Apartments), good breakfast, the gallery is very nice too and the room design is amazing!
Nothing but bring earplugs the Street can be noisy!
This is a combo hotel and art gallery. It is a perfect location and Raffilla and Stephania are excellent hosts. The rooms are spacious with beautiful art work. The breakfast is nice and in a beautiful setting. Make sure you let them know when you will be arriving because there is not always someone at reception.
All the staff were friendly and helpful The suite was comfortable although a little spartan Wifi worked quite well once the network had been identified Early checkout breakfast was provided Taxi arrived on time (for a very hairy ride to the airport) Suite was set up for mobility-restricted guests
Access street (Via del Celso) from main street (Via Maqueda) is not attractive (urban art on walls, 4 open rubbish skips) and intimidated my wife, though did not encounter a security threat. Breakfast, while adequate, could have been made more attractive with a meat selection. No freshly made coffee option (taste from dispenser was OK). The shower water floor tray needs to be replaced with something less slipy before an accident happens
Excellent location. Has great charm and much character. Very friendly & helpful owners. Good breakfast (excellent coffee!). Room was spacious, with air con & wi-fi. Very effective glazing so minimal street noise. Highly Recommended.
Excellent helpful staff .Lovely atmosphere in the dining area Very central location
Difficulty in finding hotel by car
Everything. Location, room, staff, breakfast in art gallery garden. This b&b was charming & lovely and I would stay again given the opportunity.
Was a bit noisy at night which inpacted sleep. Difficulty finding the place despite map provided by b&b--not their fault, it's tough to navigate the one way streets and pedestrian zones especially when the street signs aren't visible. Go through the Porta Nuvole and a couple of small streets past the castle . The street at which you make a left is very easy to miss so be aware!
It is a cosy and nice hotel, situated in a refurbished old house, which focuses in art and design. there are paintings everywhere, and the place where breakfast os served is situated next to a huge library, where you can take and read whatever you want. It's situated in a central location, close to most of the attractions. The air conditioning works very well, as well as the wifi. The owners are really polite and try to help you in your every need. The rooms are very spacious.
The hotel is situated in a central but not really nice location. It is REALLY hard to find, mostly if you go by car, because the only street which leads you there is a pedestrian street till 8 pm. After that time, all the shops in that main street close, so it's quite a dark zone to walk at night. Moreover, 50 mts from the hotel there was a huge pile of rubbish, which remained there the whole 2 days of our stay, so the odout every time you went out of the hotel was unbearable. Rooms are quite dark (at least the one we used). The reception is only available at reduced hours, which can be a problem sometimes. To sum up, it is a great hotel, mostly if you love art, but the location leaves something to be desired...
beautiful, spacious room with balcony - and a bath tub in the bedroom; excellent outline, style design; the location is very convenient, a small side street very near to the important tourist sites; very nice and equilibrate breakfast
a minor point: we found it difficult to sleep with the windows open by night on the week-ends due to a night club in the vicinity.
A perfect experience - B&B in the art gallery. Everything was very positive. Our large room had a bedroom and a kitchen! Location is perfect, wi-fi in rooms, very friendly staff. Nice design of rooms. Breakfast in gallery with piano music. Best stay on the whole trip to sicily.
The minor but the airco was right above the bed in our room. Could be possible to change the place for beds.
good location, good breakfast, good accomodation, speedy wi-fi, beautiful art gallery and friendly owner. We will have a breakfast at the gallery! Room keep cleanly. First day, I arrived at 23:00. But owner welcame with big smile.
Everything! The owners went out of their way to help and were so incredibly pleasant! The room was clean and beautiful! The breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The fresh OJ was so good as well as the homemade pastry. The art gallery is beautiful and it was fun to have it on the bottom floor. It was a very pleasant place to have breakfast and a nice place to sit and relax. The terrace was also a very peaceful spot to enjoy. The catered dinner we had at the hotel was superb, with smiling servers and incredible food presentations, all at a very economical cost. We have traveled a lot and this hotel/gallery is one of our favorites!
The hostess is very helpfull and fiendly. A very nice accomodation within a nice gallery. It is located in a small, dirty alley, but once inside it looks very nice and clean. And in the centre of Palermo, perfect!
The old palace is very nicely restored and furnished. Good breakfast and nice art in the rooms. Very friendly staff
Wifi very unstable and they were not able to offer storage for luggage on the day of check-out.
Given the wifi password but we couldn't get service.
Apart from the wifi everything else was exceptional- the owners showed attention to detail - we helpful and very personable
-very kind and helpful staff, beautiful rooms, good breakfast, gallery indide the hotel, close to the main train station
- some rooms are little bit noisy
High class, cultured, friendly establishment. Situation good as it was near the beautiful and amazing "La Martorana" and the lovely "San Cataldo". It is up a small street where i might be nervous to go as a female on my own but i dont think i would visit Palermo as a female on my own. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The Wi-Fi was free and excellent
This is no fault of theirs but in the street outside there is drain cover which does not fit properly. Every time a car goes over it there is a huge noise. We got used to it.
Very kind and informal personnel, very big and comfortable rooms. Breakfasts are light but the quality of food is very high.
It may be a bit noisy at nights die to people and motorbikes, but this is normal for Palermo. Rooms are pretty dark.
- great hotel - beautiful gallery - very familiar - good breakfast
Everything about Nuvole I loved. The location is central and easy walks to all sights, galleries and shopping. The accommodation is artful and interesting. Beautiful art books in the room with art on the wall too. The staff are very friendly and generous with their help. Breakfast was fabulous - food was varied, fresh and healthy. I especially liked that we ate breakfast just off their lovely art gallery. Perfect!
Nothing, I liked everything. Thank-you!
It was a great stay at Nuvole Residenza. The hotel is combined with an modern art gallery where you have breakfast and can go and see the art as well as look through art books in the library. It is a very pleasant, newly renovated building and due to its central location close to many very charming squares where you can have a drink in the evening and mingle with the locals. The staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations of places and restaurants. All in all a very pleasant experiene and we would come again next time we visit Palermo!
