Novotel Firenze Nord is half a mile from highway A1 and 2 miles from Florence Peretola Airport. It offers a free shuttle to central Florence and the airport. Rooms at Novotel Firenze Nord Aeroporto are all air conditioned. They also feature a minibar, satellite TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. On Sundays, late check-out is possible until 5 pm. A welcome gift is provided for all children. Accommodations and breakfast are free for 2 children, aged 16 or under, sharing their parents’ room. NovotelCafé restaurant is open 24-hours a day. The hotel also includes an outdoor swimming pool. The free shuttle operates on a fixed schedule and must be booked in advance. It stops at Santa Maria Novella Train Station in central Florence, 1000 ft from the Exhibition Center. Hotel Rooms: 180, Hotel Chain: Novotel. We selected the hotel due to the close proximaty to the airport and available limosene service for our flight leaving Florence. The hotel limo was not available either way but they arranged a taxi which cost us $40 each way for a 5 minute cab drive. The room was dirty and had food garbage in it from the previous occupant. The rooms were very small and confining. Not worth what the room cost for the inconvenience.

The room was lovely. Bed exceptionally good. Food was ok free 20 min on computer was nice. This hotel left me standing at the florence airport for 2 hours. I had to make a reservation for a shuttle, which never came! I took a bus to the airport and a cab to the hotel. They should not be allowed to advrtse as an airport shuttle hotel they did not have ant explination for why I was not picked up, even though I had email confirmation...they also do not offer shuttle to airport befor 9am...my flight was at 5:55.... the hotel was very nice, but completely disappointed me in the location and the services. They did not even offer me a dinner or anything as compensation, however they did pay the cab fare from the ride on the night I checked in. Not good

It is the best hotel near the Florence airport. The taxi fare to the airport which is only 10 minutes away is shockingly high however. Be prepared to spend upwards of 20 euro for 2 people and 4 pieces of luggage.

The shuttle service starts at 10AM, we had to take a taxi to the airport for a 7AM flight. The shuttle only runs to the city once in the morning.

Free internet Shuttle started running at 8 A.M. No way could it be used for a morning flight. No printer at computer for printing boarding passes. Too far from airport to be advertised as an airport hotel.

I booked this hotel specifically because I had an early flight from Florence. The hotel website advertised a bus service, but did not specify that this service started late in the morning. Nor did it advertise that the bookable service from Florence stopped well before normal Italians even started their dinner. The staff were not very acomodating.Our room was filthy with a huge stain on the carpet outside the bathroom

Rooms were big enough and clean, we stayed only one night to fly back home. Also it was close to airport, only less than 10 minutes. Hotel also has a shuttle bus to Firenze, which was very good. Water in the swimming pool was freezing....

Hotel was nice, but a.)i chose the hotel because it advertised free airport shuttle. however, when i got there they told me the shuttle didn't operate at 7:30 a.m. I paid 27 euros for a 2 mile taxi ride!! b.) lots of kids-energy-volume!! family hotel

It was close to the airport, but quiet. The staff tried to be helpful. It needs to tighten up its act and add more staff. Hairs on the bathroom floor (many of them) when we arrived.

Use of the internet and availability....free shuttle service to Florence Beds are nothing more than futons......very low end.....we didn't get our wake up call on time and almost missed our flight....the restaurant was poorly staffed, terrible service and long wait for lunch...had to ask for our lunch....our waitress had disappeared and no one checked for our meal....

Its location near to the Airport is very Good. The room is comfertable and clean. Its a pain to get to the Airport if you dont have your own car or taking a Flight outside the shuttel services schedule. It costed Euro 25 for a 5 minute ride. The bar and restaurant are very basic with no variety and a very small menu. The Hotel did appear to be understaffed with the restauarnt manager doubling up as a Bar man. I waited for 15 minutes to locate somebody who could pour me a drink.

This is a very convenient and great place to stay if catching a 6:30 am flight out of Florence. They have a great shuttle to and from the Florence train station for the last day of your trip.

L'hotel nell'insieme una ottima struttura Che nel mio soggiorno di due notti non è stato riparato uno dei soli due ascensori per una struttura di 8 piani, al mattino per uscire ci sono voluti anche 15 minuti di fila

La camera era molto confortevole ed è molto comodo avere sia una navetta che ti porta in centro a firenze sia in aereoporto. Molto adatto sia per coppie che per famiglie.Molto gentile anche lo staff e molto buona anche la cucina, anche se un pochino cara.
