- friendly staff - excellent breakfast - quiet and well equipped rooms
the area surrounding the hotel isn't very attractive, despite the old Villa Adriana at a half hour walking distance.
Absolutely beautiful, new hotel. Extremely pleasant and friendly staff with excellent car parking. Although not in the old town of Tivoli on the hill (hotel is below near the freeway), it has easy access to Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa) - if you have a car of course. Delicious buffet breakfast on the rooftop.
Most helpful staff and a very clean comfortable hotel. Good value.
Location is not great. Roads and surrounding area is somewhat rough.
Good service, good breakfast
Car is a must, neigbourhood not so nice. Room a bit dark and smoky.
Nice modern hotel - we had a brand new room with sun terrace (no furniture on it yet and Wifi was a bit iffy as possibly on edge of range). Excellent location for seeing Hadrian's Villa, less so for Tivoli itself. Staff very helpful with advice re dining (as no in-house facilities apart from bar snacks). Breakfast on top floor with beautiful airy room and terrace)
Arrangement of furniture in room (wardrobe in "corridor" to sun terrace door, plus rail so high they provided a pole for accessing hangers!) made it awkward to move about.
Friendly staff. Thanks to every one. Room very clean and comfortable.
Beautiful hotel and room, and the free parking.
One staff member wanted to sell us tickets to Villa d'Este or Gregoriana and she did not know that both were closed on a Monday... Location is too far from these two sites, you need a car or taxi. No restaurant in hotel for supper and no nice one close either.
Breakfast Staff Cleanliness Parking
Very clean and nice facilities
Very far from attractions
Very modern hotel, excellent room in the sense that everything worked well and was fairly new. Location is quite convenient to Hadrian's Villa and a short drive to Tivoli.
Located on a main road, no special atmosphere.
This hotel was a good surprise. With the surrounding we did not expect this new, nice, clean and quiet hotel. There is a nice breakfast terrace on the roof. The access to Tivoli and Rome is very easy (with a car). Not a very touristical zone which makes an authentic experience.
The direct surrounding which is not really charming.
Marco, at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Nice shower.
The hotel is on a very busy, noisy street. The places we came to visit, Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este, could not be reached on foot. After starting to walk, we found that it was up a steep hill on a road with traffic flying by at 50+MPH. After a few blocks, we turned back. A gas station attendant we asked told us that it was too dangerous and too far to walk. He told us how to catch a bus up the hill. The bedspreads made the room look dated. Down comforters with duvets would be a great improvement. No pictures on the walls.
Room was well appointed! Clean! Staff very friendly!
Breakfast could have been better.
Hotel is urban and clean
Beds too small, TV is like laptop monitor.
Veranda & breakfast
Location. Could not find it. Shower floor & drain very dangerous & unsafe. No Kleenex. Very small soap.
The room was spacious and clean and very good value for money
It was further from Tivoli than we thought, we had to call a taxi to take us into town for dinner.
Traffic on road outside hotel very busy
secure parking very friendly staff
Staff were excellent--friendly and helpful The ambience was excellent, everything sparkling and clean The location was fantastic
The beds were not firm enough for us. Maybe OK for younger people
The staff was nice.
The air-conditioning was not working and we had to open the window to sleep.
The staff was really helpfull, and the breakfast was nice.
Too much noise at morning (we were near the front door); the bed was really noisy; the breakfast place was small and we've to wait.
I stayed here twicw: once to visit Hadrian's Villa and returned 3 days later to visit Villa d'Este. I returned because the hotel is exceedingly convenient for visiting Hadrian's Villa and good for Villa d'Este. A large supermarket is located right next door to the hotel if you need any supplies. The staff at the hotel were very professional, helpful (they found me a pub that had good draught beer in the town) and friendly. The spoke perfect English. The breakfast was good. And... the price was right. What more do you need?
no hot water
The staff is very nice. Rooms are clean. Excellent location.
If our booking hadn´t been pre-paid (only option offered in bookings) we would have left. Hotel is on an extremely busy ugly main road linking Tivoli to Rome. Noise is a problem (except in room with closed window) and adds to the unpleasant location (far from Tivoli and at least 1km to Adrian visit). Entrance to car park is only signed posted when you are traveling from Rome so if you miss the car park is near to impossible to stop the car during the day. The street is not nice, too busy and difficult to walk around. At reception staff confirmed we had a room away from the road. However, when we got to the room it actually the one facing the road and was so small we didn´t know where to put our luggage. The air-condition was also gusting onto the bed with a noise that wouldn´t stop. We asked if we could move to another room and were lucky to be changed to a room on the ground floor facing the side away from car park. Size was good because it was for wheelchair guests and here the AC was fine. However, as pointed out in other reviews the beds are fixed to a wooden board which means you literally hear everyone everywhere moving in their beds. Doors are also very noisy so in addition to hearing the beds all night we were up from 6 am when guests started to leave. Another mention in reviews was that the Wi-fi was not working. This was the case throughout our stay, which for us was a major problem as we needed it to check work matters. Additionally, we couldn´t make a phone call to our airline as there was no phone in the room and no offer to let us call from reception (they just provided the number). I expect a little more from a 4 star hotel. We had to drive into Tivoli (where it is challenging to park) and find a cafe with wi-fi on both days of our stay. We were given different explanations for the lack of net which lead us to believe we were being lied to. We were again extremely disapointed at breakfast. Staff ignored us so it was hard to get coffee.
