Score from 84 reviews Wonderful
Dirty carpet, poor mattress, dingy look of property, the fact that the elevator was broken at arrival and departure and minimal breakfast choices and space,
Wonderfully helpful staff at front desk.
Wifi not in rooms only in lobby and often poor
location is very good. stuff was very kindly. beark fast is good.
the bathroom was so bad and small. the bed quality was not good. totally was a bit old.
Staff at desk were always very helpful and willing to suggest modes of transport and point you in the right direction.
WiFi only available in lounge area not in rooms.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location.
The room was large and air conditioned, the bathroom was good, two of the TV channels were in English, and the staff were helpful and courteous. I would stay here again.
The continental breakfast was a little meager. I would like to see some meat, like ham or salami, and some cheese, other than cheese spread.
The hotel was clean and staff very helpful rooms were great and was situated great for walking around most sights. Would definitely recommned to friends
Large room with all of the amenities. Good location within walking distance of metro stop. We were able to walk to the coliseum, forum, etc. Shopping and eating facilities are nearby.
The staff is very friendly especially Anna
Very nice staff, kind and helpful. Very good central location for major sights in Rome.
The room was on the small side, but nicely done. The elevator was very small and old and did not work one day.
Clean, ac worked good, two nights, fine for a small hotel in a Rome. Everyone seems to love the elevator, it was a real throwback. Water on the shower goes from hot to scalding, beware! Good free breakfast.
Shower water flucuares
A very comfortable hotel with helpful staff and it's very conveniently situated. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was very good ... staff was very cheerful and co-operative and the room was comfortable (yet old styled).
The staff, the location.
Very friendly staff, I just can't describe how nice they are. To me they all looked like from same family apparently they are not but they definitely work like a good family. Morning breakfast was awesome and the lady who served breakfast was very kind, of course the food was good and I liked the coffee also.
These are very minor details... the shower was very small and they could replace with better shower head and the water pressure was too high even at the lowest setting. Very small sign outside the hotel and it was very difficult for me to find the name board at 10:30 PM and no information how to call through security phone to open the doors. If possible they should replace the old style room keys to newer plastic keys, which will be easy to carry. Not sure this was not implemented due to security reasons in Rome - meaning loosing the plastic keys in the train (pickpocket) because they ask you to leave the room keys with them if you leave for sightseeing.
Resume: very pleasant place, would like to book it again:) Good location: close to Termini (15 minutes by walk), not far from city center; rooms are lovely, clean, cozy, very spacious with good furniture and high ceiling; good staff; wi-fi only in lobby, but I used it in the roome; working coditioner;
wi-fi only in lobby; tiny lift; poor breakfast, food is normal, but not good or exelent (but who takes breakfast in hotels when you are in Italy:);
The girls behind the desk were very helpful
We got locked out of safe ..and the man on night shift didnt no how to open
This hotel was in a marvelous old building with an antique lift and an atmospheric old courtyard. Nicely refurbished rooms with good modern bathrooms, and very friendly accomodating staff. Ample (pastry heavy) breakfast. Highly recommended if you want something very Italian.
The Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms, but only in the common areas.
We had an amazing stay. Staff went out of their way to help and please. Great location. Very comfortable room. Amazing breakfast. We would recommend it without hesitation
Location, staff, rooms
Location, quiet and easy to transit Room was very nice Old style hotel in multi-purpose building Very hospitable, friendly and accommodating staff
Breakfasts were not terribly appealing but were included with room
Easy to walk to hotel from train station and all sites [except Vatican which could be reached by metro] walkable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel was on third floor and building was shared. Our room opened onto a noisy courtyard and all sounds echoed around. There was a music school downstairs and there was no escape from the noise and also a chapel which was fine if you enjoyed Evensong! Sometimes people forgot to close the lift doors which meant it would not come up to the floor when needed. Although the hotel had positive points we would not stay here again.
Amazingly large rooms with beautiful furnishings, high ceilings, large bathroom, very friendly staff, great breakfast included, quiet side street, very safe. Close to trevi fountain and train station. Best hotel in all of italy i stayed in and a really great price too.
Honestly cant fault it
Lovely hotel, beautiful breakfasts and great location close to bus and metro stops, walking distance to many of Rome's sights.
Spacious room, well located, B&B vibe, wonderful staff.
We were in an older room that needs updating.
