Everything was clean, the WiFi worked better in public areas, a great breakfast served every morning and the friendliest staff. We have stayed in four other hotels in Rome and the quality and location is far superior to any other hotel we stayed in.
Location, customer service, breakfast
Limited wifi in bedrooms
Excellent location, near bus and metro terminal... Friendly staff
Wi fi doesnt work on the bedrooms, just on the lobby. Annoying sound on room 19 from the ac.
Staff was outstanding. Went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Room nicely furnished with venetian flair; decent size. Quiet, Safe side street close to everything !! Prkg availabkle VERY close by. Breakfast Room was cozy and offered decent selection. Loved the outdoor sitting area. Would definitely recommend this hotel :) Thank you Anna and Kira for making our stay so memorable !! We will be back.
Elevator was tiny, but pretty normal for Italy... LOL
-Location was perfect. We walked to Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum and (long walk) the Vatican. -Hotel had a room with 3 beds so we could get 2 rooms for the 5 of us (and the rooms were modestly priced). -Breakfast was included and they provided gluten free options for my youngest son. -They had a nice little balcony where you could sit out and have a bottle of wine.
-Room's were a little cramped. -We didn't mind the stairs, but it is a bit of a hike up to the hotel. -Furnishings/rooms were somewhat outdated, but they were clean and everything worked. Given the price and location, we were very happy - it was the perfect hotel for us in Rome.
location close to Termini, easy to walk to main places, extremally iteresting building "Palazzo". Personel nice and helpful. We had a very nice stay.
Noisy , in the morning noise of kitchen/ bar.
The comfort of bed
Pure breakfast no brown bread no gluten free too strong coffee not ideal for vegetarians.
Location is in walking distance to the city centre, the staff speaks very good English and is exceptionally friendly.
Great Location, with a Helpful, Friendly Staff, plus Comfy Rooms, and a Nice Continental Breakfast = Super Place to Book!
I loved the location of Hotel Oceania. It's walking distance to so many areas of Rome, and the building itself it's beautiful and historical! The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
The hotel oceana was a lovely place to stay, close to all the sites. The staff were really nice and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything, once we got there!! The staff were super helpful and patient with our countless questions!! Our room was lovely, very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We felt very secure in the hotel since it was three stories up from the street. The elevator provides great service, but you have to learn its quirks!! It gives fellow travelers something to talk about!! Thanks again to the wonderful staff for your excellent care and attention to your guests. We love you!!
Initially we couldn't figure out where the hotel is. We had just gotten ripped off by a cab driver who was a quick change artist, and we were not happy people. Then we stared at the empty, cold, marble stairway and said, "What the heck?" Somehow we figured it out - did we go back out and see the tiny sign by the door? Then we groaned at the thought of carrying our luggage up those massive stairs to who knows where...........I guess that at some point a knowing person came by and said "The hotel is on the third floor, and there IS an elevator back there!" Improved signage would definitely help with the first impression of your lovely hotel!! We would have enjoyed seeing meat choices at breakfast. Our attempt at doing our laundry was futile because the Laundromat that the staff recommended did not have the time or interest in helping us out. Question: In Florence our hotel offered the services of a woman who picked up our laundry and returned it in perfect shape that same day. Could you consider finding a laundry "angel" in the neighborhood of the hotel who could offer similar service??
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is not in the middle of historical places, but the location is acceptable for Rome. You should be ready some kilometers of walk everyday.
The breakfast was quite poor, but i guess it is OK for Italian standards. The water from the shower was unstable, once very cold, once very warm. And the towels were a bit strange.
Staff accommodated English speaking travellers and provided great assistance. Located on airport side of busy part of historic area.
No major concerns.
loved the beautiful music and opera being practiced in the building, loved the bridge terrace, the kind staff, excellent location
the restaurant recommended, Da Giovanni, the internet didn't work, the toilet was leaky and loud, but there was a fan in the bathroom and that was great
Location, staff friendliness, the building, the cleanliness, the breakfast .
A little off the busy street, not much street noise. Location not bad, close to Metro, one stop from train station (which is walkable). Room was OK, clean. Wifi in room bad.
On 6th floor, small elevator, but stairs OK.
Staff were excellent and very helpful. Location was great and most attractions were easily within walking distance.
Plumbing is suspect in some rooms...drains don't drain properly. The hotel is in an older building.
Location and staff were great!
Water in shower quickly turned to scalding hot
Location is great, the building is very well conserved and shows a bit of the Italian Dolce Vita of the very good old times. Execellent value for money.
Breakfast offer quite limited. Lift very tiny for baby trolley.
Breakfast was good and assistance with questions and maps provided were given by helpful staff. We could hear them practicing for the opera, an extra!
Our room was near a noisy street, ear plugs worked wonderfully.
Gracious and friendly staff. Delightful accommodation.
We would have appreciated the opportunity to make a hot drink in our room.
Proximity to Termini station and Metro. Quiet street. Bridge between buildings where you could sit and have a drink. Cleanliness of hotel. Breakfast was varied and sufficient; coffee good..
Quality of towels - particularly those offered for showering. Elevator was broken upon arrival and for 3 days of our visit; no arrangements were made to help visitors "hoist" their bags up the 4 flights of stairs.
Wonderful staff with great service. We enjoyed the breakfast room and nice variety of breakfast choices but really made great use of the skyway patio with wine service. Listened to the opera students every afternoon
No issues at all other than when the elevator was our of commission for the day
Receptionists Anna and Kira were outstanding. Very helpful and always pleasant. Breakfast room staff were also very nice.
