Just 215 yards from Naples Central Train Station, the Hotel Vergilius Billia features air-conditioned, simply furnished rooms with LCD TVs. The harbor is a 10-minute bus ride from the hotel.

Location and staff excellent
The location was perfect to wander around the narrow streets and enjoy the old town atmosphere.
The attic room was quaint but the beams were too low and I had to be aware so to avoid hitting my head.
Good location in the middle off the center All you can expect for that price Taxi pick up and bring was adequate Hygiene good
The host was very kind and offer us support. The room was as we expected, large and very nice furniture and very clean.
Noisy square near the hotel;
The room was calm and clean. The personal is helpful and agreeable. Location is really good for tourism and safe.
Our room had no windows and we were not informed before arriving... From the photos on the website we were not expecting this. Wifi was not working in our room.
The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Napoli. It's just minutes walk from the via Toledo, and some amazing restaurants and cafes. It's a 30 minute walk from the main train station which makes it easy to access Pompei, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. The staff could not have been more helpful, going as far as suggesting we not use public transport and everything is in walking distance. The room was clean and spacious and everything worked well, with bedding and towels changed daily. The breakfast was substantial for what I was expecting. I'd recommend to anybody this hotel as a base for exploring Naples.
The hotel is a little difficult to find on first arrival as it is on the 3rd floor of the building and the signage isn't wonderful.
Location is excellent - quite place in the city centre.
Wifi exists but almost no internet. If you have no exact plans for your trip - you need to find the way to discover everything on your own and merely relying on the internet.
The young receptionist at the hotel, Esther, was wonderful. She went out of her way to welcome us, to help us with directions to places and to make us feel comfortable. Though we couldn't arrive before the 1.30 check-in time, she stayed on until past 2.00 to welcome us. That made a big difference for us, and speaks of her dedication. Since she seems to run the place single-handedly, it is a good idea to phone ahead to tell her your arrival time. The B&B is located on a quiet piazza, on the third floor of an old building. No problem with the elevator... it worked just fine for us.
People who don't like the run-down aspect of old Naples will not particularly like the area that Olimpo is in. But when you realize what wonderful palaces lie beyond some of those dark and dirty doors, you will soon learn to accept Naples for what it is: a lived-in city, not a tourist haven. Let me say that the area is totally safe, and not once in our days of ambling through Naples streets did we encounter any problem.
The host is super friendly, genuinely nice and very helpful. This is one of the main reasons why I would recommend Olimpo degli Dei. Rooms are clean and neat, the location is great and you can reach subway, funicolare, port or central station in no time.
One could hear traffic in the night and early morning but this is a common issue when staying in the city centre of Naples.
The atmosphere is just like taken out of an old movie. Perfect getaway for the independent traveler. Just around the corner from the streets you want to explore but still a fairly quiet room. Got upgraded to a room with a balcony but shut the door for the night. Very sweet and helpful staff. I would stay in this place again.
Their hairdryer doesn't work. The plug is too big for the socket. It was mentioned so maybe they'll fix it. The shower is not a super spa as advertised it is just a shower. Only national TV but found some music channels. I was hardly home anyway. Nothing to be discouraged about. Thumbs up.
Clean room and near to the metro station and city center and correct personal, also free wifi available.
Hard to be found, no enough information about rooms location. Good to have mobile phone in order to make call and ask for instructions.
High ceilings Spacious room Nice location Friendly staff Adequate pricing
Wi-Fi did work, but Internet connection didn't one day of the two we spent there
This is a very reasonable little B&B which I chose for the price and good central location. The staff was very friendly and helpful (I got the recommendation for the best pizza I had from them). Overall great value for money
The room furnishings are a bit dated and the bed old, though there were nice old fashioned tiles. There were a good number of stray hairs around the room so it could have been a bit cleaner
Very kind staff, place clean, comfortable and in heart of Napoli. One to recommend, definitely!
- central location near the historic center - very clean room, nice and helpfull staff, friendly owner - close to the port and the train station (15 min walk)
i like i think the owner of the hotel who was more than friendly to us.We felt that we were guests in our grandfother's house. Seriously the room was perfect. It was an old building but super renovated.high ceiling roof, nice colours with a lot of space and very clean.this is a real downtown location.
since there is no "good" access to find the door of the hotel with your car and your GPS i recommend to make a note to the webpage about this detail to avoid any stressful situations.
Good central location
My bedroom was a box built on top of the other rooms. Windows only facing indoor, so little chance to air the room.
The room was nicely decorated and we had our own ensuite bathroom rather than having to share one with other rooms. The lady in charge was lovely and very helpful. The hotel was in a good location for restaurants and sightseeing.
It's a rather long walk to the train station and it would have been nice to have been given directions before arrival for using the Metro line. The area that the hotel is located in is quite scruffy, but most of Naples is like that. I think for the money we paid we were expecting a nicer location and nicer views from our room.
location very central for visiting Naples, taking the boat to Ishia and Capri Island.we were in the economic room under the roof and it was lovely even if there's no windows.the room is always clean.the staff was really great and kind, helping us during our stay for shopping and restaurant. the hotel is very calm and peaceful, you can't hear the noise of the streets,it was great to sleep there after a long day of walking in the city I really enjoy our stay in this hotel!
really everything was great,I have no complain at all about this hotel :)
I liked the location of the hotel, close to the historic center and close to the port where boats to Capri and other places go from. People working there were very nice and helped us with everything we needed. Room was big and clean.
Excellent position. Very friendly stuff but some not speaking english.
B&B is at unpleasant building. Our room was very small with window facing tiny smelly dark backyard. So no daylight in the room. Shower broken. No internet in the room. Pictures on booking.com not real.
This place didn't look like it was going to be nice from the outside but then was pleasantly surprised once inside. This is the perfect base for exploring Naples. Staff were lovely and very helpful with directions giving us a map with points to visit. Would highly reccomend.
Clean and beautiful rooms, nice location, friendly staff
Do not expect a room with a view
We stayed on the first floor and the man attending us in the reception was very helpful and extremely friendly - although he only spoke Italian which we didn't. Somehow it worked out well anyway! The location is pretty good: you feel safe going out and restaurants are nearby in the old part of Naples
