Set 150 metres from Roma Termini Train and Metro Station in Rome, Ding House offers classic-style accommodation and free WiFi throughout. The Colosseum is 2 metro stops away.

Residenza Frattina is just 1000 ft from the Spanish Steps and a 2-minute walk from chic Via dei Condotti. Wi-Fi, bikes and minibars are all free, and staff serve a generous buffet breakfast.
Score from 261 reviews Excellent
Hotel Area is 650 ft from Roma Tre University and Marconi Metro Station on line B, with direct services to the Colosseum and Termini Train Station.

Decent accommodations. Very nice pool and sauna. Very helpful English speaking staff. Somewhat close to a metro station. About 15 min walk.
Wifi did not work at all in the first couple of days. Once that was fixed, it was a bit slow. A bit far away from the touristic attractions.
Rooms are very tidy, good beds and clean sheets. Large and clean toilets. Air conditioning and everything working well. Good Gym, and breakfast was ok too.
The hotel is located a little far from the metro station San Paolo, it was a long walk with all the luggage (the Hotel is on top of a little hill). No minibar in the rooms. Breakfast was good, but they have no real coffee!!
nice staff good breakfast clean room
The staff at the reception desk were all very, very helpful no matter who was manning the desk. Free wifi and water in fridge
Hotel is about 15 mins from metro downhill. Bus stop is close by though but buses I learnt are not timely . No shops or restaurant around the hotel. We had to work towards the metro. Kitchen staff except for a slim girl in glasses were generally very unfriendly. You get the impression, they hate their jobs or don't want to cook at all. This showed in the breakfast offered. Very poor quality breakfast, very poorly presented. 'Fruits' were so soggy-looking, I believe they're canned. For a 4 star hotel the only choice of egg was boiled egg, seriously? You will pay extra for any other choice. Orange juice will cost you 2 euros extra in this 4 star hotel. These are strange pricing strategies to me. Didn't come across these in the other Italian hotels we stayed. Same poor breakfast offering for the 4 days we were there. For Sundays, restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner, really? With nothing else close by and most places closed on Sundays? Room never cooled enough and was cramped for 3 people. Again, double room sold as a triple room. The water in the fridge tasted stale, we didn't bother with it.
nice and piece full
haveing to pay €60 exter that i did not know about.
nice big rooms as described , very good wifi in the room , big balcons, to metro station only 7-10 minutes walk
in breakfast coud be vegetables , and more smiles from waitress
Location of the hotel is good, 10mins. walk to Marconi metro station.Staff is friendly.Free car parking of hotel is secure.
Breakfast may be better. One of the electrical plugs was not functional.
Staff & facilities
Location lots of train trips
Close to a Metro (subway) station so easy to get into the city attractions. Staff were really helpfull. Easy parking.
No place to sit outside in the sun.
Size of the room, quite area
Pool opening hours aren't the best possible, far from the center
Very kind and helpful guys on reception. Close to metro (7min walk). Calm area even during a day. Nice rooms, big bed. Free of charge bottles of water in rooms fridge (daily added).
Great location - nearby Metro station. Fantastic fitness room, hotel has its own parking. Good breakfasts, good value for the money.
I like stuff at the front they were willing to help with everything
So called breakfast, stuff in the kitchen were slow. Choice of eggs and amount of eggs did not exist. Just terrible, worst that I ever seen in anywhere in the world! Pool has the schedule and I am not talking 9 to 9 .I am talking about been open for 1 hour at the time. Terrible! Location wise you have to know you way around, easy to get lost.Food in the area unavailable and choices are bad!!! Stay away from that area.
Free parking and the staff are all mannered and polite and speak good english Close to the metro and and some shops,
Resturant could have a better selection.
The staff was great, delicious morning breakfast, great room and service. Great value for money! Metro station is 7 minutes walk away from the hotel from which you can get anywhere in Rome.
Wi-Fi was not great at all, but this seems to be a problem all over Rome not just at the Hotel.
Excellent gym. Good location in a relatively quite neighborhood of Rome, but very close to the center. Definitely recommend.
Quiet residential area but then not too far from metro line.
Only central AC. Windows can not be opened for noise from the building opposite the hotel at night. Noise from the next room through the connecting door.
The room as large and clean. The breakfast was average.
The pool was not open and the gym closed at 1.30 on a Sunday. The resturant was closed for a function and we were only told when we got there. The pool has funny opening time due to it being part of a gym and the gym uses it. And the hotel staff don't seam to know what is going on with the pool. We only booked the hotel to use the indoor pool so all in all we wasted our money and we will not stay there again.
Nice, comfortable business hotel in a quiet area. Chosen because it was close the venue of the conference I attended. Good breakfast.
Breakfast area was a bit uncomfortable due to unneccesary use of airconditioning. The hotel is not ideally located for exploring the sights of Rome. There is a 10 minute walk to the metro and 4 stops to the center (i.e. Colosseum).
Very low internet connection in the rooms. Air condition was on all the time, to switch it off I had to go down to reception, I couldn't do it manually from the room. Very uncomfortable showers.
Clean and comfortable.
There was no flexibility in the breakfast times, it was the same throughout the week. The restaurant staff was rude if people did not leave the breakfast room at 10 o'clock. They turned down the tea machine and so on. There was not tea and coffee making facilities in the room, the tea from the vending machine was no good. It was not so close to the Metro station. It was ideal for people who came to attend conferences at the university. In other words, it was not close to the city center.
Everything accept buffet
Quality of food is not compatible with a gorgeous Italian gastronomy. Chief-cooker either don't want to cook, or don't know how. This primarily concerns suppers, which are too expensive and too tasteless even for hotel restaurant
Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Free bottles of drinking water provided. Built-in room safe. Quite clean and comfortable. Free WIFI use everywhere in the hotel. Firm foam mattresses provided comfort and adequate back support which was ideal for people with lower back pain like us. Although location is quite far from central Rome, there was a metro station (Basilica S. Paulo) which is about 10 (without baggage) to 15 (with baggage) minutes walk.
We stayed there for 4 nights and the first 2 nights there was no hot water which made it uncomfortable for us especially on the second night where it was very sweaty during a hot summer day in August. Also, during our stay, the swimming pool was unavailable probably due to maintenance. Air-conditioning could only be controlled by receptionist which meant we had to call him a few times in order to obtain optimum temperatures for evening and sleeping times.
