Ora Luxury Catania - Grand Hotel Villa Itria  

Breakfast very good, but orange juice?? Not made with oranges. Friendly staff. Spacious room + luxurious bathroom. Big and empty private terras (no furniture). Good price for the luxury room.

Business atmosphere; lots of noisy business men on their cell phones/smoking/talking loud in front of hotel. Bus loads of spa- visitors. Airconditioning doesnot cool and elevator out of use.hotel facade lights are very bright, shine inside the room and stay on till 01.30h. so you cannot sleep with your windows/curtains open. In the hotel is an enormous outlet for baby chairs, very strange atmosphere for a hotel.

Excellent all round. The day spa was great as well. Has such a great experience at this hotel, really enjoyed all the staff. Dinner was great value as well. About 40Euro to airport, great location, the view of mount etna was just a bonus.

Pool closed too early.

We had a quad room that was much like a suite and very good. The restaurant also deserves a mention - their 28 euro set meal was good - and we particularly liked the buffet of anti pasti and deserts.

Compared to other four star hotels we have stayed in Italy, it was second to none. Gorgeous rooms and decor, lovely pool and terraced area which was great for families and couples. Spotlessly clean and attention to detail in the restaurants. A great breakfast with a great choice of foods, very relaxed and staff extremely efficient. Evening meal is really nice at 28euros per head.Excellent reception staff who went out of their way to help As we went during the busiest time in August, foolishly we left it too late to organise car hire. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us get a car. We eventually did, a d thankfully got to see some of the area. Located well for seeing Etna, Taormina, Acireale, etc, but you must have a car! You will be stranded otherwise as it will cost a fortune in Taxis. Would definitely go back.

There are a few things that perhaps need to be improved. Cost and variety of meals for children could be better. It probably is the code for most Italian hotels not to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the room - but it is so annoying, especially as the price of the room isn't cheap. No ironing facilities allowed in the room, you are expected to use their laundry service. Price of the mjni bar isn't great either.

The way it is designed is simply outstanding. Loved the interior designing. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was very helpful.

I suggest that they change the douche as it is somewhat uncomfortable for children and women.

Profesional personnel, very helpfull and speaking english. The rooms were clean and spacious and had balconies. Breakfast & swimming pool were just perfect. The best hotel we have stayed in Italy. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend who will stay there next week.

Only the location but we had cars and so there was no problem.

What a beautiful relaxing hotel with friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome despite the late hour of our arrival.The room design and decor were superb as was the breakfast and spa. A must if you are exploring Catania or The Etna area.

Tutto sommato reputo Ora Luxury-Gran Hotel Villa Itria nell'insieme più che positivo. L’hotel è stupendo e curato sia esternamente che internamente, dotato di un vasto parcheggio esterno e box auto. Le camere godono di tutti I confort e sono spaziose,pulite e ben arredate.Molto soddisfacente il cibo con colazione varia ed abbondante. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stato il centro benessere e la splendida la piscina coperta,indispensabile per un piacevole e rilassante soggiorno.

Quello che mi è piaciuto meno è la posizione dell'hotel,mentre quello che non mi è piaciuto è la piscina esterna,poco bella esteticamente,chiusa ed inaccessibile alla clientela pur essendo maggio ed essendoci delle caldissime giornate.

Bon acceuil du personnel, une chambre bien sans probleme et le troisieme ;lit bien.

Attention, la piscine est interdite aux enfants de mpoins de 7 ans. Et seuelemnt après 20h pour les enfants de 7 à 13 ans...

Sehr schön ausgestattetes Hotel, großes Frühstücksbuffet, große Zimmer und Badezimmer

Zimmer sehr hellhörig, zum Teil extremer Lärm schon in den frühen Morgenstunden, eigentlich nur auf Businessgäste eingestellt, Kindern wird der Zutritt zum Wellnessbereich verwehrt! Für Businesskunden und kinderlose Gäste sehr schön für Reisende mit Kindern ungeeignet!

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Ideale per visitare i paesi etnei e l'Etna. Comfort delle camere.

Ho trascorso un week-end splendido!! Hotel assolutamente da consigliare perche elegante, pulito, moderno, con personale gentile insomma tutto a livello di un vero 4 stelle quasi lusso!!!! Eccezionale!!!

Forse poco sotto lo standard del resto Dell' hotel il centro benessere ma se proprio deve te tirarmi fuori una critica perche è un posto splendido!!!

Il rapporto qualitá/prezzo è impareggiabile! Una struttura di lusso, con un prezzo ragionevole. Una cosa che mi ha colpito è il profumo che c'era in tutta la struttura....dettaglio che viene tralasciato in qualsiasi altro albergo! Ci ritorneremo!!!!!

L'unica cosa per la quale sono rimasta un pó sorpresa....è che abbiamo dovuto pagare a parte l'ingresso al centro spa (il costo non è molto) ma...credevo ci fosse un "pacchetto" per chi soggiornasse nell'albergo e che quindi fosse compreso nel'importo.
