Hotel Orcagna  

The reception staff were helpful and happy it made all the difference. The hotel is a little bit shabby and old but very clean and comfortable and the reception staff were very helpful - and cheerful. Although the hotel is not situated in the centre of town it is very well located and the city centre is easily accessed. The staff were very helpful with bus information.

The location is quiet good, very easy to find. The facilities are in good situation, we feel very comfortable. The staffs are friendly she gave us many useful information for traveling. Anyway, I think this hotel is value for money.

Hotel Orcagna was a pleasant Hotel, nestled in a quiet suburb not more than a 10 minutes bus-ride from the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station. It is also within 5-10 minutes walk to Florence Campo Di Marte station (which we used for our train to Rome). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The reception desk works round the clock. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. For the price we paid we couldnt expect any better. We took a bus to the centre in the morning (the bus stops less than 500 metres away and is frequent). We really had no complaints. Even the Wi-Fi signal was strong and walked all the time, as advised. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The cheap price and the best service. Also, wifi is free in the hotel. Room is large, the twin room is suitable for a family, actually.

The staff is the best I have ever met. We dealt with at least five different people and they were all extremely helpful, absolutely kind and polite, always willing to help. We had a problem and we needed someone who spoke Italian to call to Malcesine several times while we stayed in Florence, and the staff were keen to help. They tried their best to help us. In addition, the hotel is very clean, the room was huge and comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the staff who served was also very sweet. The lady was happy that we liked her freshly prepared cappuccino and smiled when we asked for more (many times...: )). By the way, the freshly made cappuccinos were amazing!!! The hotel was much more than we expected! Strongly recommend it!

Absolutely nothing! The hotel is a bit far from the center, but you can very easily get a bus and it costs 1 euro. Anyway, the location is calm and there are many good restaurants and cafes.

Big and clean room with balcony, excellent reception people, walking distance to downtown and even at midnigth you can walk to downtown or back to hotel, totally safe. Internet good at room, breakfast ok. Basicly all ok. Arkadaslar 50 euroya bu oteli kacirmayin, cok iyi. 3 gece kaldik.

All ok and they should add some english channels to their tv network

My partner and I had a great stay at Hotel Orcagna in October 2011. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel is conveniently located just outside the town centre, only 15 minutes walk. There's some shops around, a supermarket, and a few bus stops. Bus #8 takes you straight to Firenze train stations both smn and Firenze Rifredi, so does bus #14 I think but I'm not 100% sure. The staff is very kind and helpful and they serve a beautiful breakfast.They also give you a convenient map of Florence when you check in, and that's a bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff are really nice and helpful and the young lady with short fair hair was really sweet to us and explained everything. We will surely come there again !

Air Con didn't seem to work very well since it was boiling all night.

We r a couple in our 60's and had a twin room with a balcony. We stayed for 8 days. The room was very clean. And cleaned daily. The toilette was spotless. The continental breakfast was adequate including cappachino if requested. The wireless was weak in our room but strong enough to call our grandchildren on Skype from the room. A stronger signal could be gotten in the lobby. There is also a laptop in a small room in the reception area for use by guests, no extra charge. The receptionest was extremely helpful and even printed out our boarding passes for our return flight. There are several good returaunts within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The walk to the center took us about half hour, but then my wife likes to look in the shop windows on the way The air condioning in the room was quiet and worked. Would reccommend to any couple

Great location just within walking distance from main centre. Quiet street. Lovely room with balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. We hired bikes from the hotel. Breakfast was good. We ended up staying an extra two nights

i really love this hotel!!! every room is special and with different color decoration...very warm and romantic.... you gonna love it! especially girls...if you love the vintage European design style...
