Good breakfast...better than shown on other photos. Little English but ok.

Marvellous crumbling palazzo right in centre of town. Family run hotel. Near train station but not scary. Cheap and atmospheric.

Vepas along alleyway at night, but to be expected in Palermo.

Location.

Lovely family-run feel - in truth I think one woman did all the work! Very accommodating for late arrival, and very informative as to the best way to spend our time. Breakfast room is impressive, and the food is okay.

No mosquito screens on the windows, but there is a large effective fan in each room to cool down.

Totally recommend this one. The lokalization it's just stunning in old historical building which is very immpresive, situated near all monuments that are worth seen. As the front door opened and we went through we were amazed! Helpful owner will provide you with all needed information. Fair price to conditions.

A stunning building and room with a shabby chic grandure that maches the city perfectly. It is noisy outside but then so is Palermo absolutly wonderful staff and a great location for sight seeing and unbeatable value. We really felt part of the city while in and around the hotel.

The location is very comfortable - near the main railroad and bus terminal, something like 5 minutes on feet. Big and clean room, welcome staff. I had WiFi right in the room

Prospective guests with heavy luggage should be forewarned that the 3rd floor hotel has no elevator!

It was a very charming place to stay. The old building is fantastic and the staff very hospitable. The location was great, very near the train station and easy to find

I really liked this hotel. It is in a very good location close to the railway station and the main sites. The room was clean and comfortable - the bathroom was clean also. The staff were friendly and the unusual nature of the hotel made it even more attractive. And no TV's either which would always be my preference. Very good value for money.

A lift would have been good for the heavy bags but that would be about it.

Nice location close to Stazione Centrale and historical attractions. Extremely low rates.

Single bathroom on floor is shared between 12 rooms. Bathroom is cleaned in morning and is thus inaccessible for important times. Complimentary breakfast is provided, but is quite meager: bread in shrink-wrapped plastic bags, corn flakes, and undrinkable coffee from a machine. WiFi only accessible in the lobby.

The hotel is nothing like the pictures. The hotel neighborhood is really creepy at night and the room is small, dark and cold ,even with the heater. The staff is not really helping and indifferent. You can't expect more for the money anyhow. And won't go to this hotel ever again

The building and location.

Administrator barely speaks english and breakfast are pretty humble

Amazing building, easy to find from station, woman on reception was extremely helpful and genuinely concerned for our well being. Great value for money.

The only room available was one with a shared bathroom. This was quite a trek down a long corridor- otherwise satisfactory- clean and no queuing- and at least there was a wash basin in our bedroom. The breakfast was mainly prepackaged - crackers, buns and croissants, and there was only one domestic two slice toaster which seemed to take forever, causing a long queue for toast. However there was a great coffee machine, food was plentiful, and the room breakfast was served in was delightful.

Very interesting building in a convenient location in the historical district. The market nearby is a treat.

Hotel rooms kept tidy and clean every day. Place to have breakfast- excellent. English speaking lady at the reception-alway helpful and nearby. Hotel has got a safe location with security guard in the courtyard and with house-entry system.Stay in Hotel Orientale has been a pure pleasure.
