De lokatie is perfect. Een halve minuut lopen van het San Marco plein. Wij hadden een kamer die erg ruim en venetiaans was. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Her personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk. Als je naar venetie gaat dan zou ik zeker dit hotel adviseren. Prijs kwaliteit was perfect. |

Het is duidelijk een familiaal uitgebaat hotel. Het interieur en de kamers zijn proper en goed onderhouden. Verbinding met luchthaven zonder eigen auto laat te wensen over (Duur (taxi) of moeizaam) Ietsje problemen met Engels bij informatief telefoontje. |

vriendelijke ontvangst. alles was netjes. meer moet het niet zijn voor een 2 sterrenhotel op een heel goed gelegen plaats. Het heeft mij persoonlijk niet echt gestoord maar blijkbaar anderen wel: heel onvriendelijk personeel bij het ontbijt. eigenlijk wel jammer. interessant om op voorhand te weten. |

de lokatie en de prettige manier van ontvangst/hulpvaardigheid wat ik erg hollands vond/krenterig is dat je voor een tweede capucino bij ontbijt extra moest betalen; en ook voor extra kop thee.ik snap best dat je niet als gast kunt blijven aandrinken, maar dat signaal vond ik krenterig. |

zeer goede ligging, 3straatjes van san marcoplein verwijderd (150m) en ligt in de chique buurt van dure winkels. s'nachts is het zeer stil om te slapen, en alles is zeer verzorgd en proper. gezellige ontbijtruimte en zeer proper. het is wel een klein hotel (waren er zo voorbij op straat) alles was goed voor ons! niets negatiefs |

De ligging van het hotel is erg goed, lekker centraal. De portier was erg behulpzaam. Hij heeft voor ons de terugreis erg makkelijk gemaakt door de boottijden etc op het internet uit te zoeken. Hij is een aanwinst voor dit hotel. |

Very friendly staff, very helpful. Great location. Great room, comfy bed and spacious room (compared to other places we've stayed at in Italy). Would defintately return here and highly recommend to everyone. Lack of a lift! Was on fourth floor and we have a 2-year old! |

We asked if we could leave our baggage after we checked out and the staff wanted us to leave it on the second floor in the hallway. I did not feel that was safe. |

The hotel is 2 blocks from the piazza. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even after we had checked out of the hotel. I thought the breakfast was pretty nice yet simple. The "Italian Shower" is a little awkward because the shower is the actual bathroom. This takes some planning as after you shower, the entire bathroom is wet (including the sink, toilet paper, and any towels hanging inside). Also, the air conditioning/heater is a little challenging to figure out. |

Location. Also, Max at the desk when we checked in was extremely helpful and so was the one when we left. Some of the other staff around the hotel, no people skills. No elevator to bring luggage up in, poor airconditioning. Poor bathroom design - everything gets wet when showering, tight space, no hooks to hang clothes or towels. |

The map of the area they gave us. The shower was horrible and you had to shower without the curtain or it stuck to you the whole time. The shower head was also zip-tied to the wall so you couldn't move it into a more comfortable position. The bed was uncomfortable, some of the staff was creepy, and they charged $7 per hour for WiFi. The breakfast, which is included in the price so you feel obligated to eat it since it costs almost $15 per person per day, was gross with limited options and if you decided you wanted an extra pastry because they are out of yogurt and fruit, they charge you an extra $3. |

Good hotel just a few meters from Piazza S. Marcos. We apreciated the room move since the provided extra bed on 1st room was broken. The new room on the last floor was much better, although we heard during the night the ar conditioning engines. Breakfast ok. Harder mattress. |

The best thing about Hotel Orion is its location. It is a very short walking distance from the San Marco square. (1) The air conditioning in Rm 45 was completely ineffective and we sweated for 2 consecutive nights. When contacted, the staff blamed the external temperatures (2) The shower area is not separated from the dry areas of the bathroom and these get flooded on account of this. Ours was a triple room and we needed two showers a day because of the heat and humidity ! (3) The front desk guy who checked us in (the one on duty before Max) was most unpleasant and not befitting the service industry. (4) The hotel has a paid wireless internet facility but no free public computer. It charges extra to let the guest `hire' a laptop. (5) Our room did not receive a wireless signal and I had to sit on the stairs to access the net. |

It was a small comfy clean room, the front office staff were very friendly and helpful, with great English. Maybe some help in getting a heavy bag to the 4th floor. |
