It was a nice hotel
It was fine
- very spacious room -good equipment in the bathroom -Parking space -the lady at the reception on the morning service -good breakfast
-the hotel is 15 min by walk to the center (but we knew it from the start) -the wifi reception is bad (tiny detail in vacation)
luxury hotel at the edge of town quite far away from the historic center
This is a very good and clean hotel in Ferrara, with nice and spacious rooms. i had to stay in Ferrara for some days and unfortunately stayed only one night in this hotel (it was booked the other nights). One can easily feel the difference when staying in this hotel as rooms are much larger and very comfortable comparing to the hotels near the city center at this price range. The good thing is that it is only less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. I recommend this hotel to any one who wants to stay in a very good hotel in Ferrara, though you have to walk for 15 minutes to get to the center.
A bit far from the center, though only 15 minutes walk.
The staff were very helpful. The rooms were lovely but lighting was poor.
Only one lift to be shared with the cleaners. Too far away from the centre of Ferrara. We had a lot of taxis. Even with a car we would have found it hard to park in the centre of Ferrara. The walk to Ferrara was totally uninteresting and a little over 1km. There was no restaurant so we had to go out every night. I think it was built as a conference hotel
Good hotel, just outside Ferrara's center with it's own public and private car park facility. Rooms are clean and huge, they include a private bathroom, A/C, TV and private balcony. Beds are good. A/C worked perfectly during our stay on hot summer days. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is good. The hotel starts needing a bit of maintenance, but so far no complains.
The hotel surroundings need to be cleaned (the garbage), although it's problaby not the hotel's responsibility. There was no furniture on the balcony.
Staff is very nice and helpful. good breakfast.
Staff very helpful and cheery, good location less than 10 minute walk fron train Station, very good breakfast plenty of choice hot and cold dishes, room was very comfortable, great value for money
Quiet bedroom and spacious Excellent breakfast. Plentiful and good choice
Wi-di did not work in our room. We had to leave the room to use it.
room, bathroom, position, the possibility to have bikes at your own disposal, breakfast, reception
Nice hotel, centrally located, free parking: excellent stop on the way south
roof garden needs some extra care. relative busy traffic.
Quiet, convenient location, clean, large room, friendly staff, free use of bikes, good breakfast, parking, bargain price. Don't be confused by setback of entry
Bicycles for hire
Location - a bicycle ride away from the centre, no local restaurants or worthwhile bards
Hotel Orologio was terrific value for the money. Great, helpful staff, who gave us good information for dinner, and one of the best breakfast spreads we had travelling in Italy. It is located reasonably close to the centre of town, a little bit of walking, but the hotel has free bikes to hire, which is a good option in this flat town.
Room facilities Enough space Cleanses
Breakfast They charged us for frying EEG we ordered !!!! Far from city Taxi charge us more than normal fees!!! Not cold enough in all hotel area
Nice would stay again
Wi fi could have been better
Excellent accueil. Prêt de vélo.
La localisation : dans un centre commercial.
Excellent value for money, best hotel in this price range I ever had in Italy. good breakfast with tasty! bread, different kinds of cheese and meat, viennoiseries... prosecco. Clean room with functioning airco.
Mosquitos (close to the water) so take a spray... wifi wasnt really working inside the room, good reception in the corridor and in the lobby though.
Breakfast was nice. Two of the front desk staff were very helpful! I am unable to recall their names but the gentleman that worked mainly at night and a young woman with short strawberry blonde hair. The manager also tried to be helpful! The rest of the front desk staff were always rude and definitely need to learn some manners.
The hotel did not look clean or well kept including the rooms which had a terrible smell. Also, we stayed the last week of spring beggining of summer and it was veryyyyy hot! For some odd reason they were unable to turn the air conditioners on, which made our stay awful and super uncomfortable! Everytime I asked the front desk for ac they were very rude (other than the nice staff I previously mentioned). If you asked about the ac situation they would just tell you to open the windows... All sorts of bugs would get into the room, so that was not an option. We traveled around italy for almost 3 weeks and stayed in 4 different hotels (all the other hotels were great) this hotel was definitely the worst part of our trip to italy. Stay away!
Staff was very friendly. Room was pretty, bathroom large. Breakfast was delicious and varied.
AC was barely working, very warm. Hotel is a little tired, orologio courtyard not as pictured...carpets worn and faded.
Large room. Good breakfast
Everybody was smiling and welcoming upon arrival. Good breakfast and very comfortable rooms with good wifi. Great beds and clean bathrooms. Will use again if visiting ferrara
Wish we had stay another day. Ferrara is a great place and a delight to visit. Do not missed it.
Excellent location; free parking and not to far from the beautiful city centre. The hotel is very comfortable, and aware of environmental issues. I liked the presence of freely available fruits
The personnel was not always that friendly; could be improved. Why not give an internet code while checking in to the hotel? No possibility of coffee making in the rooms. Prices in the bar are quite hefty for Italy.
Good location for getting into City Centre. Parking with auto is good.
Air con only works in the summer. Room becomes stuffy and there is no option for locking the windows open to let in fresh air.
The twin room we had was a great size. Really enjoyed our stay.
About 15minutes walk to the centre, we ended up just driving into the centre and parking in town.
