Position: close to the city center but with convenient parking good breakfast

My cousin and I loved the location. We were able to walk into Ferrara within about 20 minutes - and we are over 60. The town was fabulous and one of our favorites. Ferrara is quite a large walled old city, so if you don't mind walking, then this hotel is a great choice. You can drive into town or take the bus and the hotel Orologio is still a wonderful find. The room was spacious, the breakfast good, and we would definitely stay there again. The staff was very helpful with maps, etc.

The staff was very gentle and tried a lot to serve us with the best way. Everyday we had clean towels. We also had free bicycles. We had free internet. The rooms and the bathroom have enough space.

You had to book the bicycles early because there weren't enough for everyone. I would prefer a breakfast with some extra things.

- Pleasant reception girls; - room design; - bikes for free; - warm omelet for breakfast; - a full guidbook of Ferrara at the room.

- Shabby common area at the floor; - cleanness of the room.

A good price during Bologna Fair!

15min walking distance to train station, 15min to the historic centre.

The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and from there we were able to visit the city center on foot. The reception staff was welcoming, helpful and they provided all the information we needed. The breakfast offered a wide choice of hot and cold foods and was served in a cheerful breakfast room. Having a bar in the hotel was a good choice for the weary tourist. Our room was clean and spacious with a view of the river. We didn't ride bikes but we could have! The hotel has them.Though over 70 yrs. Old we saw lots of older bike riders in ferrara!

The surrounding neighborhood on the way to the station with the ancient city wall is a bit run down and less cared for than the main part of the city and you are near some main auto intersections and circles.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, Friendly and helpful staff, spacious room, nice bathroom. Not far from the city centre. Breakfast was excellent (quite unusual for Italy). Excellent value. Recommended.

Tv too small...

Everything was very correct, spacy room ,breakfast ,,free wifi, parking, 15 minutes from city center centro storico.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean. It was a very good value for money choice. We also liked the breakfast.

Some renovation might be welcome. Also the plants in the corridors seemed neglected.

For the price, this hotel was excellent.

WiFi booster required and general computer needs updating, otherwise fine. Whilst at a busy junction with a name (above) on its front, an illuminated name sign is required at night!!!

Room was large and well appointed. Excellent and helpful staff--they really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. We liked using the free bicycles to tour about town. Good breakfast and internet connection. Easy access to train station, not too far to walk.

The bed was confort! Location of hotel is good for visitor of Bologna Fair because in Bologna price are expencive during the Fair.

Outside view was not like a hotel. It's more like a shopping center.

Great deal at the special discount price of some 54 euro/night for a 2-person room, breakfast included. Was there in early octobre. Great room, excellent breakfast. Location close to city-centre. Free bike use. Bikes are bit special, low saddle and steering - children bike like. Normal room rate , high season = 220 Eu.

Superb value for money. Extremely helpful staff. Located conveniently close to area tourist attractions. Free internet, parking and cycle provision. Well appointed bedroom with well thought out facilities. Overall cleanliness. Substantial breakfast provision. Fact that they fully met all their advertised claims.

Building requires some structural repairs and decoration. However as these were out-with the bedroom and public spaces, they in no way detracted from the overall inexpensive pleasurable stay.

Helpful staff and good accomodation. Betwixt railway station and city centre which made it a very good base for travel and enjoying the wonderful city of Ferrara. The bedroom was large and comfortable, the air conditioning a real plus for a couple not used to such warm nights. Good breakfasts and lounge facilities. No where to eat in the evening (I assumed to photos of the restaurant, meant evening meals) or locally that we could find. More a hotel for business travellers than tourists. Indeed the city is only now trying to attract more tourists with 'fly/bus' scheme from Bologna Airport, and little english spoken or tourist friendly eating places or opening times.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, the friendly and helpful staff, the use of the bikes for getting around, sufficiently near the station, excellent breakfast. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very comfortable and well equipped. We had a balcony looking on to the road not an interior room.

Completely soul less, business type hotel which seems to survive on small conference/meetings trade. Was described as 10 mins from cathedral and centre of town; in reality was more like 20 mins, walking at a reasonable pace, and in a very unattractive area.
